Not to be disgusting, but they had GI problems for 1-2 days. One guest said that when they bit into the meatball, she noticed it wasn't cooked all the way. We didn't know what exactly caused everyone to get sick. But we know for sure it wasn't the desserts because the people who got sick didn't eat dessert. Additional Issues- Since choosing Anne Maries for catering, we had a couple of issues. First one being with our numbers in regard to food. I had been in communications and told Shawn that we had less people after the RSVP count came in 300 originally, then RSPV'd... 250. Shawn later told us that is why they "double check" numbers before charging. And no, they didn't! He already sent us a bill for the wrong number of guests for the wedding. Thirdly, we had an invoice sent to us saying that after we paid that our card was rejected. Supposedly after speaking with Shawn on the phone, he informed me that the office manager didn't communicate with him about how we already paid. So, the office manager sent another invoice, and it stated that the payment was rejected. This happened after the previous issue was addressed. Overall, we were very disappointed by the issues that we encountered with Anne Marie's and don't feel like the company demonstrated professional qualities that we thought we were paying for. There was poor communication between Shawn and the Office Manager. We understand mistakes happen, but there were several mishaps with the addition of some of our guests getting sick on the food.

The facility has two rooms, a larger space upon entry, and a smaller room towards the back. The hostesses of the event I attended were able to decorate the room as desired. The food (mixed pasta plate, salad, iced tea and rolls) was plentiful. The taste was not my preference but there was nothing overtly wrong with it - simply personal preference. Although I don't know the cost, I would definitely recommend this place for a birthday party, shower, family event, etc.

Annie was understanding and flexible as she was willing to take a last minute simple-design red…read morevelvet cake order. She confirmed that the design is simple enough to do despite the limited time. We spoke on the phone and had several email communications explaining exactly what I wanted, which was a plain white cake with a meme design on the top and purple ombré sides. Annie was done with the order on time, but the cake did not look like my reference pictures, did not completely match my design specifications, and had cracks/bulges on the sides. It was clear that not enough time or effort was put into the cake as it looked extremely sloppy. I reached out to Annie explaining that the cake tasted great but I was not satisfied with the way it looked. Annie was willing to refund $10 back out of the $65 I paid. However, I never received a refund (and personally, if the design ruins the entire cake I would think a full refund is appropriate here). The cake was for my boyfriend and, when he saw it, he thought I made the cake for him (I am someone who never cooks or bakes or does not have any food-making experience).
