No doubt. The first we all sat at the table watching him make his magic in the kitchen. Come on people there is nothing like a man cooking for you. Right Ladies!!!! We had Elf Chef Nolan come into our home and cook for the second time. The first visit was a sample meal and now we had a full service visit. He made 3 main dishes and 3 sides for us. Elf Chef Nolan was on time! He came with all the groceries cooked everything and even cleaned up before he left. I have to say it is such a treat for a man to come and cook for me personally because usually I'm the only one that cooks in our home. Everything he made was season perfectly. We ordered 3 family sized meals and sides: Pesto chicken breasts with mushroom alfredo noodles (side) Chicken tikka masala paired with the side of mediterranean style couscous is amazing. The dish was very well made and season perfectly. I would so order this again. Blueberry pancake muffins fresh made from the oven yumm. Not to be disgusting, but they had GI problems for 1-2 days. One guest said that when they bit into the meatball, she noticed it wasn't cooked all the way. We didn't know what exactly caused everyone to get sick. But we know for sure it wasn't the desserts because the people who got sick didn't eat dessert. Additional Issues- Since choosing Anne Maries for catering, we had a couple of issues. First one being with our numbers in regard to food. I had been in communications and told Shawn that we had less people after the RSVP count came in 300 originally, then RSPV'd... 250. Shawn later told us that is why they "double check" numbers before charging. And no, they didn't! He already sent us a bill for the wrong number of guests for the wedding. Thirdly, we had an invoice sent to us saying that after we paid that our card was rejected. Supposedly after speaking with Shawn on the phone, he informed me that the office manager didn't communicate with him about how we already paid. So, the office manager sent another invoice, and it stated that the payment was rejected. This happened after the previous issue was addressed. Overall, we were very disappointed by the issues that we encountered with Anne Marie's and don't feel like the company demonstrated professional qualities that we thought we were paying for. There was poor communication between Shawn and the Office Manager. We understand mistakes happen, but there were several mishaps with the addition of some of our guests getting sick on the food.

He brought everything that he needed, including pots, pans, dishes, linens and utensils. He spent the afternoon preparing an 8-course dinner which he served over the course of a two hour dinner. The quality of the meal, including the presentation, were exquisite. We started with champagne and brioche with truffle butter, citrus ginger honey and jalapeño honey. They were all good, but my favorite was the citrus ginger honey. We then had a salt tasting with 4 different flavors of salt, which were left on the table for us to use with our meal. This was followed by a cucumber, tomato and strawberry salad with white balsamic and mint and basil from Chef Joe's garden, which was fresh and refreshing. The next course was shrimp in a teriyaki dipping sauce, followed by fresh fettuccine with butter sauce topped with crushed pistachios. Both were delicious. One of the highlights of the meal was salmon over roasted zucchini with a creamy and lemony bearnaise sauce. Before our main course we cleansed our pallet with a homemade consumme with fresh vegetables, rosemary, sage and lemon. The main course was perfectly presented and was as fabulous as it looked, with potato puree, roasted carrots, filet mignon and a duck/veal glaze. We finished off with Tesoro cookies and tiramisu. My husband loves tiramisu and orders it when we travel - so has had it in Italy, Little Italy and many high end restaurants around the world. He thought Chef Joe's was the best outside of Italy.
