My Dad was celebrating his 60th birthday and 'The Hungry Peach' just happened to be where we decided to go for lunch. Unfortunately due to COVID The Hungry Peach closed down in August, and recently reopened this past Monday. And boy oh boy am I thankful that they did. First let me say it's slightly challenging to find the restaurant. If you are at the ADAC center you are at the right place. The Hungry Peach is on the 2nd floor and if you follow the directions to the Cafè you'll find the restaurant without any trouble. The service here was unmatched. We were able to speak with the owner Malina and she was absolutely wonderful, a true delight!!! I ordered the Hungry Peach Burger and it was a very good burger the caramelized onions along with the sweet pickles make for a better duo than Batman and Robin. I loved it! My sister ordered the Peach BLT and she said the peach jam made the sandwich amazing. My dad ordered the chicken panini and he loved that as well. Now...not that the lunch wasn't great in and of itself, but this is where The Hungry Peach stole my heart. The Peach Cupcake is without hesitation the BEST cupcake I've ever had in my entire life. My sister said "I will have these cupcakes at my wedding." If you go to The Hungry Peach and don't get a cupcake you are not fully living and are making a big mistake and are a fool, respectfully. Luis, we loved your work! But hey this is all hearsay and was my experience so you go check them out for yourself. And there's no need to thank me, you're welcome!

Once we parked we had to walk to the very back of the warehouse but the restaurant was cute and the food was great. I had half chicken salad sandwich which was piled very high and very chicken based. And then half a salad which was very fresh! I got an Italian cookie which was amazing!!! Must try a dessert.

Overall, it was a good experience. I felt our instruction was detailed between explaining the why behind steps and demonstrating. We got a lesson in knife skills that was cool. Dishes made: -Paella (chicken and a meatless version for our vegans) -Tortilla chips -Pico de gallo -Guacamole -Sangria My only con was that we started late (more than 20 mins) so there was a lot of waiting around at first. I undetstsnd things can happen which is why thebexprrienfe was overall fun and positive. Once we got going, the pace stayed at a steady flow and we were not rushed out at the end. Would recommend if you're in the Atlanta area. The next group after us was also a corporate event, so I'd say the setup works particularly well for that (groups less than 15).

Our instructor was so entertaining, southern, and sassy (his words lol). He was really patient with some of the people in our group who weren't as experienced in the kitchen and gave tons of tips along the way. I'm not sure it was relaxing haha, but a group of 20 making pasta and sauce from scratch is almost guaranteed to be a chaotic good time. I recommend this for work teams, families who want a group activity, couples, friend groups, or even solo. I'd love to go back and try another cuisine class - there are so many to choose from! Plus there's a drag brunch option that our instructor teaches, which is probably really fun too.

The restaurant is located on a corner in the Glenwood Park shopping area. The website notes that they validate a lot located behind them and you can also park on the streets of the neighborhood. I parked on the street about a block away. I was told it was free to park and I didn't get a ticket, however you may want to do your own research on the parking situation. Admittedly, I was late to arrive for my reservation. I live in Cobb county and the traffic was terrible. However, we were still able to have our full dinning experience. However, this is not the type of place you just pop in to. They may be able to accommodate you, but I would not take any chances. I would highly recommend making reservations My party of 2 was seated at a table where 2 other patrons were already seated. We were in close proximity to the open kitchen - which was nice ! All of the staff had great personalities. You can tell that team work makes this concept work. This is not a traditional dining experience. To start- it is a community dinning space. You might find yourself in close proximity to people you don't know. Additionally, while there is a menu, you don't order ahead. All of the dishes are presented table side. The chef that prepared the items gives you the details about the dish. You can opt in or out of trying it. If you opt in they do mark it off so that they will know what to charge you for at the end. I also appreciate the open kitchen. There is only a small glass separating the kitchen from the dining area. You can see everything that is happening! For the food - honestly I loved everything except the banana pudding. It was just ok. I would not have to have it again. We had the following items: Chicken liver Shrimp Oysters Trout Carolina gold Cucumber The beef offering was turned into a fish fish And another item was turned into a vegetarian dish For a total of 12 items our bill was $242.25 prior to taxes. Was it worth it - absolutely! I can't wait to check it out again ! NOTE: our favorite dish was the shrimp dish. It's hard to describe it, but the taste and texture were perfection! I also appreciate that they can accommodate dietary restrictions. For example, I do not eat red meat and the fried I went with is pescatarian. They made some modifications to a beef dish so that we could try the concept of the dish. I love that the chefs get to play around with the dishes to some degree. Gunshow For the win in my book!

I feel it would be very difficult for this place to get a star bc don't think the food can be consistent with how it's set up. 1 Star off for that Service was ok Ambiance was casual... I was sitting next to the kitchen watching the chefs work (who were also dressed quite casual). Had water dripping on me from the AC intermittently which def was irritating. Overall was an interesting experience because you get to say no to dishes but imo can get better food and more creative dishes at other places. I think we paid $150pp-ish for everything on the menu. I likely won't return

We came here for a birthday dinner celebration and we met with great customer service and a lovely atmosphere. There was a jazz trio performing, and the ambience of the restaurant was great. We were seated in an area that had a lot of traffic so some of us were bumped multiple times by servers, food going over our heads, people swinging their jackets, it just seemed as if the tables were a bit too close together. The food. We ordered the shrimp appetizer, the fried green tomatoes, and the pork belly. All of these were delicious, though we did feel like the tomatoes could've been a little crispy. The Carolina gold sauce on the pork belly was a nice tangy combination with the protein, and the shrimp had a surprisingly good sauce. The issue that we fell into with two urban licks were the mains ... We felt that the rotisserie chicken was a bit dry, and flavor was confusing as it was presenting as tandoori, but had an underlying flavor we just couldn't get into. The market fish on the menu for the day was a red snapper, and it didn't come with any sides, but it seemed like the fish was simply fried in the oil and it didn't have any seasoning or underlying flavor which we were disappointed in. The Hawaiian wahoo fish was a bit overcooked, and the "jerk" short ribs leaned more habanero salsa in the taste. The coconut rice and peas that went along with it was also dry, without coconut taste, and missed the mark for us. We are Caribbean and this was a disappointment to experience. The description on the page oversold it just a bit. We were able to call the manager, and they removed the chicken dish from our bill and took half of the final price of the short rib from our bill as well, and that was appreciated! Looking around the restaurant, it seemed like everyone was enjoying their meal, though we could never know what conversations were being had at those tables, and it just seems like this restaurant was not for us personally! Great service, but due to the food, we don't plan to return
