First of all, I had no idea what kind of food they were serving up...turns out it's breakfast type things? From around the world? I'm still not sure I'm right on the concept, but whatever it was, it worked for me. We tried the Nasi-Lemak, a dish inspired by Singapore which was coconut rice, fried egg, chicken and sriracha. No complaints and the dish mixed together quite well. For ~$7 it was a bit steep considering the portion size, but they're new so I'm gonna give them time to get their pricing figured out. Next up, a paco - a pancake taco. They have sweet or savory options and I voted savory. We did skirt steak, egg, cheese and some sort of red tomato based sauce. Pretty good!! Tasted a bit like a McGriddle, but definitely upped their game with skirt steak. I think this was around ~$6 as well. All in all, I think they have a few kinks to work out with pricing, but food was quick to come out and I think they are a welcome addition to the food truck family.

The passion fruit juice was so good--honestly one of the highlights. Only reason this isn't a full 5 stars: the fries came out lukewarm and tasted like they'd been sitting a bit, not hot or fresh the way you want with a great burger. Fix the fries and this place would be an easy 5 for me.

They were more than accommodating. We first started outside and they graciously let us move inside as it was so hot. The tostada were nice and loaded. It came with a side of beans and rice. Everything was tasty and I'm sure great for soaking up some alcohol it would be even better. I wasn't drinking so my sober review was that it was good but not amazing. It's overall a small place that seems to cater more for drinking and they even had hookahs. None of which are kid friendly. But they did their best to cater to a bunch of parents with unruly kids. So to that I give them credit. Overall a good place to get your drink on and grab some Mexican bites.

Most of the…read moretime I don't participate on this since I usually bring my own lunch but this time, based on the email they sent with menu, I decided to give them a chance. Chinese, hot dogs, sliders, fresh juices but the one that called my attention was a poke bowl. Looking around the trucks to see where this dish was, I finally found Starfish Food Truck, it was the second to last and I was glad I didn't just give up and turned back. When I looked at their menu there were many things I thought I would like: Calamari, Conch fritters, fish tacos, corn on the bob... But I went for the poke and stuck to my decision. The description of the dish included mango (I don't like it) and rice. I asked if I could remove those to ingredients and keep everything else: seaweed, cucumbers, edamame, carrots and pickled onions. Without hesitation the guy cooking said "absolutely, what I'll do is add extra tuna so you don't stay hungry without the rice". How cool is that?!? In about 5 minutes, I had my poke, that looked more like a salad at this point, really nice plated, and absolutely delicious. They also had fresh starfruit juice that my friend bought and said it reminded her of the one her mom made when she was little. She also ordered the cracked conch po'boy and said it was amazing! On top of the quick and friendly service, they are eco-conscious serving everything in recyclable materials, including utensils. Glad I decided to give the trucks a chance today.
