It's a laid back, Applebee's type restaurant with the typical American fare that has all day happy hour on Sunday. There are other specials during the week. It's located at the golf course in Miami Springs right off of Curtis Parkway. Parking shouldn't be an issue at all, and it's free. Friendly service with reasonable pricing makes a great place for beer and a casual dinner.

What a great waitress with an amazing personality! The menus had many choices along with happy hour specials. We ordered appetizers and had a few beers on draft. Beers were served cold in a cold glass. We had the CAB sliders and the buffalo chicken sliders. Both were good choices and prepared with a lot of flavor and with fresh soft buns. The bar and restaurant is an open style with comfortable seating and one of the windows looking out to one of the greens. There are many TVs to watch whether sport is playing. Outdoor seating was also available. The noise level was perfect for conversations and parking was easy. I will definitely return to play golf and to enjoy the 19th hole.

I ordered a mocktail drink and waited upfront. Once we got situated we were sat down, the decor was definitely much nicer compared to the NY location. The menu was the same, we decided to go with the Caesar salad and calamari as appetizers. For entrée, we went with the steak and spicy rigatoni. Then we shared a dessert. We had a great experience at the Miami location, good food and great staff.

There were still several tables available, but I was told that most were being kept outside because of the rain--even though the rain had stopped. I couldn't help but feel a little dismissed because I was dining alone, especially after I mentioned that it was my last night in Miami and that I had really been looking forward to experiencing this restaurant. Thankfully, a kind gentleman graciously invited me to join him at his table, which completely turned the evening around. As for the food, the experience was fantastic. They started us with cheese, meat, and fresh bread, all of which was delicious. We ordered the Octopus Pizzaiolo appetizer, and it was absolutely to die for. I had the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, while he had the Dover Piccata, both were excellent. Finished off with the Hazelnut Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream (not pictured) Our server was also a gem and kept us laughing throughout the meal, which made the evening even more enjoyable. Despite the rocky start, the food and service once I was seated made for a memorable last night in Miami.

I still think about these two dishes to this day. Inside is quite cozy for a nice dinner or happy hour meal, but note it's quite small so seating can be taken up fast - inside was busy. The service is very hospitable, the waiter really took his time to describe the dishes and recommend what tastes/dishes would pair best with what.

The hostesses (2) told us 45', we agreed. I asked to go to the bar to have drinks, we were told we couldn't (the bar had some open seats). I said OK, I'll order the drink and we wait outside, hostess was annoyed at that suggestion. She said if we wanted a drink, we'd have to go to their sister restaurant (which was packed). After 1hr 15' (we stayed outside waiting, no drinks), we checked in and the hostess rudely told us that she can't foresee when people will leave. So we took our $350 check to Hillstones, where they value regulars. We have dined at Luca before and love their food, but seems like success has gotten to the hostess' heads. Restaurants, especially in Miami, succeed and survive from the loyal locals, not from tourists nor fads. Seems that Luca has forgotten that. We're happy to take our business elsewhere, even a chain restaurant who values repeat customers.
