We spend a good deal of time at the Malpensa arrivals B area and as we all know, planes often do not arrive 'on time'. Chef express offers a selection of food and beverage options to satisfy while we wait. Or, after a transatlantic flight!
Early morning there is a queue for coffee and in the afternoon you will often find a full house just after the planes land. If you have time to wait, give the tired travelers a chance and then head in once the crowd has cleared.
All the expected italian coffee offerings are available, plus a nice big Cappuccino Maxi: a coffee cup you can wrap your hands around and savor. Also offered are an assortment of brioche, including vegetarian and natural, and muffins.
Place your order with the cashier, who will hand you your brioche, then place your receipt on the coffee bar. The barista will get to you in turn, place a saucer in front of you, and make your coffee. You can drink it standing there, or take it to a table/seat.
For lunch grab a variety of ham sandwiches or a bagel sandwich of chicken, ham or tuna. Also available are fresh fruit juices, and both veg and fruit salad from the 'juice bar'.
Comfy sofas, high tops and low there is a good deal of seating provided and the location, just turn left when you enter the terminal (after customs) and it's on your left, very convenient!
The airport restrooms are just a short walk further on and the 'airport bus express' is right across the way. A few of the tables offer usb ports or plugs for phone charging! I love when an airport establishment thinks if their patrons needs! read more
