They were both delicious, but I have to say that they did not meet my expectations. Maybe I had to high of an expectation you might say and you might be right. Anyway, the torta Enrico is a sweet pastry crust (pasta frolla) filled with dark chocolate and pears. The crust is really good, but overall it didn't deliver the amazing experience i was expecting. It was just really good. Same thing for the Zurich Torte, a sweet pastry crust filled with baked pastry cream and apples, very very good, but not sublime as i was hoping. Anyway, this is a classic pasticceria in Milan that delivers very high quality desserts and pasticcini, you can't go wrong with it.

First they use a traditional lever espresso machine as you would see in Napoli. Their beans are also roasted in Napoli. That is already a good start. The coffee guy knows his stuff and is happy to share his thoughts on how to best take a cup of coffee. They typically serve the espresso with a sweet cream smear in the cup made from coffee, sugar and a little milk. If you want just espresso, you should ask. they actually use a different bean if you want unsweetened straight espresso. Both are really good, just ask for what you want. For the few options that they have I do have to say that the quality is amazing. I wouldn't go out of my way to go to this bar with the many options there are in Milan, however, if I'm in the area I would definitely swing by for a caffè and brioche in the morning. The owner is nice enough to explain each one of the paninis with what it comes with as the menu is fully Italian. Not a tourist spot, but a local hidden gem. Their cappuccino is rich and creamy and if you feel like having a sweet treat just go next door where they have all the dolce treats. Besides paninis they also offer Focacce, Piadine, Insalate.
