The moment we walked through the door, we were ushered in by the owners of the establishment who were very kind and welcoming, and even spoke a little English (which was much appreciated.) It felt like an authentic Italian kitchen with an inventive twist, which made for a truly unique night out. Locanda del Carmine is not so much a place as an experience. The server tried his best to speak English to us to make us feel comfortable. It was a lovely evening and I had some of the best risotto I've ever tasted. The salami, cheese and pickled veggie appetizer with garlic rosemary crostini was a delicious appetizer that people on either side of us also ordered. The prices are very reasonable for such delicious food.
