He adjusted his tip sessions during commercials and kept the boys super engaged even with so much going on. He worked with me on a menu and he delivered my vision. Even with extreme circumstances (another vendor broke our garage door 24 hours before the event) Chef Peter and his crew took it in stride. They were on time and hauled their heavy equipment in and got straight to work. He was basically cooking/grilling on one side of our building (back patio), having to run back forth to the interior kitchen and sink. He and his crew worked SO hard that night. They are very professional. Every plate was perfect, they cleared the tables and made sure everything was spotless when they left. I also hired Jacob the Bartender (he works with Chef Peter) and WOW! Crafted cocktails and excellent service. Every person who was late to my party was sat and had a drink in their hand in less than a few minutes. Jacob was a pleasure to work with. Great bartender. Oh my gosh, I was so nervous. I have never had to plan a large event before. This last weekend was my in-laws 60th anniversary and when we decided to have it catered, I was actually more scared because I've never hired a caterer before and I didn't know what to ask for or even how to find a caterer. I started asking my friends and random women in the grocery store and anyone I know who had used a caterer for a funeral, or a class reunion, etc. Every single person I asked gave me the same company name. Seriously, it was weird. People who did not know each other all said chef Dora is the best. They were so easy to work with. We agreed on a price and exactly what would be done. We picked which appetizers we wanted from a long list on their website. They showed up two hours before the event to prep everything and it was flawless. I was able to relax and be part of the party and not be stuck in the kitchen for the first time in maybe 25 years. In fact, a couple of times I found myself picking up people's trash and Stuart, our amazing server, would come and take it right out of my hands and remind me to go relax. Chef Dora generously donated lunch for our staff during Teacher Appreciation Week, and it was absolutely amazing! The lemon chicken was incredibly flavorful and delicious, and the coleslaw was hands-down the best we've ever tasted. Every dish was prepared with care and was enjoyed by everyone. We are so grateful for Chef Dora's generosity and talent. The quality of the food exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be using Chef Dora for future events at our school. Chef Dora and her staff are consummate professionals. They catered my father's funeral reception. Not only was the food excellent (sandwiches, salad, and dessert), they also took care of everything. Food and drink were replenished in a timely manner, cleanup took place as if we were at a high-end restaurant, and they were all friendly and helpful. I couldn't have asked for better service.
