I believe this is a remnant of the old Burger Chef chain, and the burger I had was reminiscent of a yesteryear Hardees burger. The chili dog was pretty good, but it was their famous hot slaw which made it great. Good place for a decent meal and a great trip down memory lane. Make sure you try the hot slaw! read more

I went here to have lunch with my grandpa. We went to order, and the lady taking our order seemed annoyed. She informed us that they were closing in 30 min. It was 12:50. I said, "Oh I looked online and it said you close at 2pm, is that incorrect?" (Because I would normally never even enter a place close to closing time.) She told me yes, normally they close at 2, but today they are closing early. We went ahead and ordered. I got a grilled chicken sandwich. I got one that had obviously been sitting out for a while. It didn't seem grilled - more like steamed. We ate quickly because they obviously wanted us out. I couldn't even visit with my grandpa because they proceeded to vacuum loudly all around us and then started mopping. I just found the whole thing pretty rude and inhospitable. If you aren't going to abide by your posted hours, maybe put a sign on the door to keep people out? I won't be back. read more

This is a great little place. The food reminds me of an old style burger joint. They have hand squeezed lemonade, homemade apple turnovers and amazing service. They food is really good and prices can't be beat. They close at 2pm so come early! Definitely try the biscuits if you're having breakfast. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. First off this place is dirty. Looks like they never take the time to prioritize to clean it. Makes sense when you only have two staff members working the joint. Second, they have no manners. I went in to pick up a door dash order, which states should already be ready by now by the way, and I see there's a long line for ordering food. Normal restaraunts have a place where you can just pick up orders, so I walked up to the front because I just wanted to at least tell them the name of the order so they were aware I was here, and if it wasn't ready that's fine, get an eta for the customer. The lady refuses to acknowledge me, then finally when she does, with a rude tone says, "door dash? You're going to have to wait in line." Doesn't even ask the order or name. I'm sorry, but that process sucks. So if anyone (DoorDash or not) orders online so they can save time, and comes to pick up, they have to wait in full line of twelve people that are only ordering before they can even be served the food they scheduled ahead of time? You don't care if it's ready, or if it gets cold by then? What kind of process is that. I get you're the only one taking orders, but for one learn how to properly speak to someone. And two, maybe run a place for the CUSTOMERS. Not just to make a few crusty dollars from your awful menu. Thanks. Dropped the order and will never accept another order from there, or order food for myself or family. :) read more

They have milk shakes here, vanilla and chocolate. This is mostly a traditional restaurant with cheese burgers, French fries and soft drinks. They also have sweet tea which is what I wanted. They also have Apple turn overs for only 99 cents. The service was fast and pretty friendly to day. menu items ordered: sweet tea and apple turnover for about $3. The Apple turn over was delicious. The sweet tea great too. Both were perfect for an evening snack. I will come back for their lunch or dinner one day. read more

I love it here, the food is always amazing, the ladies are so nice, it takes a max of 5-10 minutes for them to get your food to you, it's always great coming here. They get their drinks out to you right away so there's no waiting, etc. read more

Excellent food and short wait time for pickup. Only downside is that they don't serve grits,close at 2:00pm and are closed on Sundays. Delivery is 5:00 for a half block. Maybe out of their control depending on who delivers. Dr.Johnstone New to the area. read more

Breakfast is ok. Stopped by for a quick dinner tonight and it was garbage. Bacon cheeseburger tasted fishy, and after deconstructing it I realized that it was boiled in water instead of grilled. Strawberry milkshake consisted of vanilla soft serve mixed with fake strawberry syrup chemicals. Chocolate meringue pie had a grainy, almost sandy texture. Only thing they got right was the onion rings, everything else went to the trash. My dog wouldn't even eat the boiled burger patty...super gross. The Shake Shack on Hwy 64 puts this dump to shame as far as burgers and shakes go, hands down. read more
