They have everything from small bites like cookies and pastries to full size cakes & tarts. They also have single serve slices of some of their cakes like the chocolate mousse cake. We went for breakfast sandwiches and tried both of the base bread options. The snowflake bread was soft and pillowy (my favorite) and the brotchen bread was slightly crisper & a little bit saltier, also amazing. Eggs are fluffy and a great portion size. Added cheese to each and smoked bacon. A delightful breakfast treat. On the way out, I got a baguette for a last minute appetizer need. It was so soft and freshly baked (and big!). I'm going back today for more fresh bread. There's also plenty to shop for like mustards, jams, cheese and charcuterie, grab and go items, and beverages. This place has summer chalet vibes & is very upbeat and friendly. Lines can get long during typical busy hours, so it's not super quick if you're in a rush. Great place to come relax.

As one might expect, their pastries were lavish and had many different ways of delivering chocolate. I saved only a seasonal Sakura for myself as we approach cherry blossom season. I got a large spread which was consumed by a happy group. Adding a farmer's bread, which was a light rye, as well as some imported German butter, also went over well. I did not have need of the imported chocolates and other packaged goods, but there was certainly plenty there worthy of perusal.

The khinkali or Georgian dumpling, filled with cheese and accompanied by a delightful hot sauce, was scrumptious! We would have also tried beef, but they had run out by the time we got there that evening. My friend and I also enjoyed the cabbage salad and beef-filled samsa or croissant-like pastry. We also sampled baklava, and that was one of the best baklava I've ever had! The honey cake was good but not my favorite; I'd like to try again another day. Besides the delicious and hearty fare, we also enjoyed the sweet and helpful service and cozy atmosphere. Baku Delicious also makes a great destination for gifts if you're looking for teas, honey, chips, cheeses, etc.

Service was amazing- greeted promptly and maybe they knew I didn't visit often as they asked if they could help with anything. They walked me through some menu items, let me know I could carry out or dine in for an extra charge, and let me peruse at my pace. The space was clean, with a couple of tables to sit down and enjoy a hot entree or nibble if you wanted. I almost plopped down to dig into my desserts but had to exercise self control. I will definitely be back to try more items.

The store is always clean and has novel food items unavailable in most grocery stores. The sandwich is a unique vanilla wafer shaped like a fish with ice cream inside it. They make sushi fresh there and have better prices than most grocery stores. I love the heavy Tobiko (fish caviar) sprinkled all over the California sushi roll for only $5.99. I bought two sushi rolls, a giant amount of seaweed salad , and three boxes of ice cream sandwiches there. $40 for all the groceries - not bad. I, also, signed up for a free H Mart card. H mart offers a shopping card to use when you buy groceries for store deals & to collect points for a $10 gift card. If you collect 1,000 points in groceries, you get a $10 gift card to use in H Mart.

I bought $25 worth of bulgogi and two types of banchan, cucumber and bellflower and kenyip. I tried the cucumber and bellflower banchan first, and threw it away. Whoever prepared it added way too much vinegar--it soured my stomach. The next evening I prepared the bulgogi in a pan with a touch of sesame oil. There was strangely no aroma from the marinade and as the beef cooked, an overwhelming disgusting SOUR aroma began emitting. I got a new pan, thinking perhaps I burnt the sesame oil; nope, the HMart sold me $25 worth of rotting meat. I threw away all the meat and had to eat a veggie dinner including the kenyip banchan. Woke up in the middle of the night with a food poisoning itchy rash on the back of my thigh. My partner had not eaten the banchan and was fine--threw away the kenyip too. I tried calling the market twice to complain and tell them at the very least to take the rotten beef off the shelves. No one picked up of course. So I'm doing my own recall here. Take note of the date!

We tried A&J and liked it a lot!…read more This is not a typical Chinese-American restaurant. A&J has quite a few pleasantly unexpected dishes. Service was welcoming and efficient. On a mid-Saturday afternoon, the restaurant was about ¾ full. We started out with the Wonton Soup and the Spicy Wonton soup. The Wonton soup is just okay, but the Spicy Wonton Soup is wonderful and highly recommended. For another appetizer, we ordered the Scallion Pancake. It has a nice dense texture and I really liked it. It would've been even better if it came with a dipping sauce. We also ordered the pickled cabbage. It was good, though lacking seasoning. Our first entrée was ground pork in a delicious sauce accompanied by sprouts and thinly sliced cucumber (or was that zucchini?). Recommended! Our second entrée was a Pan Fried Beef Bun. The beef was flavorful but the bread was kinda dry. Our last entrée was the Beef Wraps. These were great! Who woulda thunk that beef and fresh carrots would go together so well?! Oh, the chili sauce in a jar on the table is extra tasty. At the end, before we got our check, we were given a plate with sliced cucumbers in a light tasty sesame chili sauce. Excellent! But the hot tea was an epic fail. It had no flavor whatsoever. Peeking inside the teapot, all I could see was a micro tiny tea bag floating or sort of sinking. One other thing I kinda don't want to bring up in light of the great food we enjoyed, but need to in the spirit of full disclosure, is to mention that A&J shares space in the building with several other businesses. The restrooms are common to all the businesses. A&J needs to lean hard on the property owner/manager to do a deep cleaning in those restrooms. I'll leave it at that.
