I bought $25 worth of bulgogi and two types of banchan, cucumber and bellflower and kenyip. I tried the cucumber and bellflower banchan first, and threw it away. Whoever prepared it added way too much vinegar--it soured my stomach. The next evening I prepared the bulgogi in a pan with a touch of sesame oil. There was strangely no aroma from the marinade and as the beef cooked, an overwhelming disgusting SOUR aroma began emitting. I got a new pan, thinking perhaps I burnt the sesame oil; nope, the HMart sold me $25 worth of rotting meat. I threw away all the meat and had to eat a veggie dinner including the kenyip banchan. Woke up in the middle of the night with a food poisoning itchy rash on the back of my thigh. My partner had not eaten the banchan and was fine--threw away the kenyip too. I tried calling the market twice to complain and tell them at the very least to take the rotten beef off the shelves. No one picked up of course. So I'm doing my own recall here. Take note of the date!

The store is always clean and has novel food items unavailable in most grocery stores. The sandwich is a unique vanilla wafer shaped like a fish with ice cream inside it. They make sushi fresh there and have better prices than most grocery stores. I love the heavy Tobiko (fish caviar) sprinkled all over the California sushi roll for only $5.99. I bought two sushi rolls, a giant amount of seaweed salad , and three boxes of ice cream sandwiches there. $40 for all the groceries - not bad. I, also, signed up for a free H Mart card. H mart offers a shopping card to use when you buy groceries for store deals & to collect points for a $10 gift card. If you collect 1,000 points in groceries, you get a $10 gift card to use in H Mart.

We didn't know how big the portions were since the menu didn't have any pictures. We relied on the photos from yelp or google. We ordered the beef noodle soup with wide noodles (clear broth), peking beef wrap, cucumber salad, braised pork rice, pan fried pork dumplings, steamed pork dumplings, and fried pork chop over rice. The beef noodle soup was good and clean but I would get the thin noodles next time. The wide noodles weren't as bouncy as I would've liked. I would come back for the cucumber salad and the peking beef wrap. All of our orders came reasonably on time after each other but we were still waiting on the fried pork chop over rice. Time passed as we almost finished with all of our dished until we asked one of the servers if our fried pork chop was coming. The server looked at our receipt order and acknowledged we did order it but told us it was sold out. Not one staff told us it was sold out when we placed the order or even when our other orders came out. We've been waiting this whole time expecting the fried pork chop not knowing it was sold out. We were asked if we wanted something else to replace the order and we decided to get the fried chicken over rice.

Somehow, the Uber Eats estimated ready time is now 5:41 pm! The restaurant isn't even that busy. This is really more of a complaint against Uber Eats, but Chicken Loco is also in the wrong. I don't see how they can't just process my order since I'm just sitting here waiting for my order. There is no one in line, and the to go orders don't even seem to be that much.

Everything is cooked in advance so you select the entree you want. There is a full menu above the hot food which explains what they serve. I noticed beef stew, chicken stew, fish, beef short ribs, and of course the rotisserie chicken, and sides like fried plantain, white rice, red beans, fried rice, steamed veggies, and fresh salsas and sauces. There was a lot more on the menu. I ordered the Costillas or the Beef Short Ribs that came with 2 sides so I got the fried plantain, rice and red bean mix, fresh salsa and a cabbage salsa, and it came with 2 corn tortillas. The Beef Short Ribs were well seasoned, a little tough and and chewy, I thought they would be more tender. But the flavor was really good nevertheless. The plantain were sweet and well fried. One piece of plantain was undercooked. I am glad I gave this place a try. I rarely order carry-out but I will add this one to my rotation.
