I had the Mongolian Beef with the same side as my wife. The lunch special comes with egg rolls. The meal was filling and good. What puzzled me was her only review was about the one bad experience and decided not to ever return. She stated the staff wasn't overly friendly and they were too young to be there without having better management oversight (or something like that). This was not my experience whatsoever. There were three young ladies in there working, smiling and my son and I were greeted with a smile. The food was good, the service was good and the portions were appropriate. There was one girl there that I think was being trained. I enjoy seeing new trainees, especially teenagers who are trying to enter the workforce and are learning how to be adults, which is a process that hopefully never ends for each of us. I don't know why there was an unfriendly experience with the other reviewer, but think about it. Everyone has bad days Some teenagers have to work because they have to help pay bills. Some teenagers don't have both parents at home (I didn't). Some could possibly be tired from working another job they may have. I wish there was more grace in this world for everyone and I extend that to the 2-star reviewer Go back, over tip, make there day, engage the people that may seem unfriendly with a smile. There is possibly a reason they are not smiling so help turn it around. I also have bad days and bad experiences, but I refuse to pay negativity forward. There is too much of that in our society and I'm tired of it. My questions to the previous reviewer are why did you not once leave a positive review the other several times you were there? Where was the kindness in trying to help a new business owner get more business? I admit I don't review every place I go, whether it was good or bad. The reviewer certainly wanted to tell other people not to go there and to turn around. I don't know why from her several positive experiences, you she wasn't encouraging people to go there. Maybe she had a bad day and I understand that. People need redemption and forgiveness every day, and that's what I hope comes from this post. If anyone is actually still reading this, let's try this. Pay positivity forward, even on your 1- star days because we all have them and we all need someone to smile at us. I hope you have a great day, and if it's a 1-star day, hang on because a 5-star day is around the corner.
