We had five wine and cheese courses, in addition to the introductory wine and cheese to "warm us up." The space is warm and open. Tons of open coolers to check out cheeses and wines after. We paid almost 200 dollars for two people to have wine, cheese, a charcuterie and crusty bread board (optional). So about 100 bucks a person. I thought this was a reasonable value and we had such a great time. Keep in mind, this is was you make of it . . . the more questions you ask, the more you will learn. We learned about politics in cheese, cheese thievery, under-appreciated cheeses that smell like gym socks, but taste like a dream. A very laid back and congenial environment. We had a couple of questions about the menu such as, do they not have the Roasted Red Pepper Tomato Soup or the Mac & Cheese Bowl anymore ( They have removed these items from the menu ) and the employee was kinda rude about it and I really didn't like that. Anyway--- The Sandwiches are really good and the sides were good. They also do catering and you can find them on Facebook and Instagram. There is a covered outdoor patio along with shared seating inside. It's a good place to grab a Grilled Cheese and a tasty Milkshake.

None of those occurrences were even connected, just an improbable collision of different factors. But you don't have to be a Philly sports fanatic to enjoy this place. As a frequent traveler to Philadelphia who knows what a real cheesesteak tastes like, I can tell you Brotherly Love is legit! They get their rolls from New Jersey's Amoroso Baking Company founded in 1904, the only allowable bread for an authentic cheesesteak. They appease all cheesesteak aficionados by offering the three most popular cheeses including provolone (always my choice), Cheez Whiz (crazy, but some people swear by it), and white American cheese. Even more impressively, they use Cooper Sharp, Philadelphia's preferred American cheese for cheesesteaks founded in 1893! Wow! They know their stuff! Ordering products from the Amoroso and Cooper companies alone are enough to impress me. But the proof is in the finished product. And the cheesesteak here is indeed a wonderful sandwich. The meat had a couple of dry sections but was overall very tender. And the fried cheese curds with marinara are highly recommended!! Come check it out. And go Birds!!
