This is the best food i have had from a restaurant it is great and i highly recommend their flavored lemonade and their loaded fries

Service: 1.5 stars. The waitress provided some of the worst service that we have ever received at a restaurant. After the runner brought out our food, the waitress never checked in with us. No one asked if we enjoyed our food, they did not give us drink refills, and we had to wait a long time to receive our bill. My husband's drink was completely empty, and he had to drink my water to wash down his food. He left a $1 tip. Food: 3.5 stars. The food tasted fine but was nothing special. We liked the appetizer of chips and queso and our appetizers of chicken tenders, baby back ribs, and shrimp. My husband really enjoyed the taste of the side of black beans and rice. I simply love Cheddar's and desperately wish there was one around where I live! A few things about Cheddar's to keep in mind: 1.) If you arrive during the lunch or dinner rush, expect to have to wait a little bit. 2.) If you're not sure what to order, ask your waiter! They always have good suggestions! 3.) I was very disappointed with their food. I was there 5 years ago and the food was great so I decided to take my whole family out to dinner tonight and I'm leaving feeling like I flushed $84 down the toliet! The food was cold! The chips were stale. They did bring another batch of chips that were a little better. The ribs were definitely not fall off the bone. I ended up taking 3 bites and packed it for my dogs. The BBQ sauce was so runny like they mixed water in with it. The food just sucked! This is the first review I have ever wrote about any business. Nicole was a great server. Food was great. Everything was awesome. Not to long of a wait for a holiday weekend. Very clean.

The server was bored with his job. He did an adequate job but showed no enthusiasm. The- food was sub-par. The blackened salmon salad was small. The fillet was tiny. No seasoning. No sear. The salad part was good but the fish lacked any flavor. Blackened indicates seasoned and sear to me. The salsa was nothing more than diced tomatoes with a bit of chili powder sprinkled in. No pepper, onion, cilantro. Nothing. Chili powder and tomatoes. Awful. The spinach cheese dip had been sitting for who knows how long. It was dry as a bone. There was so little cheese you could not stir the dried out mess back into the spinach. The chicken was overcooked but fortunately fresh. Even the diet coke was flat. Stopped by for a quick bite for lunch. We were seated quickly and the server was polite and courteous and took our order quickly. We enjoyed the loaded cheese fries for an appetizer and then settled into the main course. I ordered the lunch special, a half Cheddar's club sandwich and a house salad. We decided to dine at Cheddars this evening. What a disappointment. Let's start with the positives: the prices are reasonable and the chip refills are free with the chips and queso app. The food was mediocre. I ordered lemon pepper chicken with steamed broccoli and corn. The chicken was dry; the broccoli overcooked. The service was slow, grumpy, and lacked attention to detail. We waited approximately 10 minutes to see a server. We both ordered Diet Coke and ended up with just Coke. It took another 15 minutes after they were dropped off to ask our server to fix it. She wasn't happy about having to fix it. We ordered chips and queso with the beef on the side. It showed up with beef in it. Again, it took forever to get it fixed. Also, why not just leave the one that was messed up? Finally, we ordered the spasagna. It comes with garlic bread. It was dropped off without it. It took 15 minutes to get that corrected as well. We've had similarly bad experiences at other Cheddars locations. It must be a systemic issue. read more

It's ok. Bit of a slip in quality each visit (about once a year - till now). Good size menu and the food still tastes fine but had heard bought out by a chain and starting to get that feel. Wait staff is barely attentive and the pour on a drink getting smaller while the price still goes up - yes, seeing that more often at many places lately but it's pretty bad here. We visit the area at least yearly and used to make it one of the usuals for lunch or dinner but think Cheddar's moves to the "maybe" list next visit as there are so many other restaurants to choose from in the area. read more

Service is hit and miss. Usually we are seated quickly, even during rush times. The food I've ordered is always good. I wish they offered half-portions at a slightly reduced price. They serve WAY too much food and it's never as good reheated so it gets wasted. read more

Went in an hour and a half before they closed thinking I had enough time to eat and not piss anyone off. Ordered a medium rare steak with steamed broccoli and rice. The steak came raw and the broccoli was not cooked at all. I complained to the bartender who served us and she informed me that all the cooks give up during the last two hours of work and believe they get the last two hours of "work" off. The bartender was really nice and gave me a $10 off an entree coupon which I appreciate. too bad my meal was around $25. just know if you want a good meal do not go 1.5-2hours before they close. read more

I was pleasantly surprised as I walked in the place looks really nice and I was like uh oh it's gonna be and expensive dinner man was I wrong. This is very reasonable prices and atmospheres great, waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. I got a half rack of ribs for $11.29. The only thing I disliked and reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that my sons cheeseburger was smashed a bit and the check had a suggested tip amount on there I hate when places tell me how much to tip. But food was good and cheap. But definitely get the stack of onion rings $5 can't beat it! read more

I ordered the chicken tender salad and it was very good, my only complaint is I wished it had more veggies on it. My husband and I had never stopped at a Cheddar's but we thought we would give this restaurant a try on our return trip from Kentucky. As a side note, we had eaten a few days before at the Quaker Steak and Lube located in same area. It was less than stellar. I am surprised at some of the negative reviews for this establishment. but maybe our timing was good. We arrived mid-afternoon on a weekday. We were greeted and seated immediately. I chose something call "Spagana" and found it was like version on lasagna only with spaghetti. It came with garlic toast, and I also ordered a house salad. Husband ordered a catfish dinner. We were both happy with our meals and service. The only hiccup was we were seated near patio door and the wind blew through on me every time the door opened. Next time, I will ask for a change in seating. The server also refilled my beverage in a togo cup. I liked that she thought ahead. We had one of the worst waitresses, barely came back, we were out of drinks, she stood beside us at the stand and talked about her tax returns, never asked how our food was, or if we needed anything, and when she dropped stuff off she dropped and went. We didn't even receive our full meal that we paid for but couldn't tell anyone because she never came back nor did a manager ever come around. My first time there. I ordered a painkiller one of their signature drinks. The waitress said I have one ordered it someone didn't want here you go it's quick for you. The drink was a mess syrup running down the sides and then I touched it I stuck to it. My dinner was the Caesar salad and penne pasta with salmon blackened. They came out with no pasta I asked a waitress about it a chef came out with pasta in a dish. I asked him if it had any toppings or if it needed to be mixed in the salad. The service is always excellent here. That's very typical of a Darden Restaurant (as I work at a different Darden restaurant). However, don't be fooled by the name. They don't really make their food from scratch. Don't get me wrong, it's decent food. Nothing I'm writing home about though. I went once and got a chicken and mushrooms dish and the chicken was terribly rubbery. The buffalo chicken wrap is spot-on and the spinach artichoke dip is, well, amazing. He only came back one time, right after I received my food, and not again until he did a "drive by" to toss the check on the table. I ordered the Philly Cheeses Steak and Mac n cheese. This is the second time we have been to a Cheddar's Restaurant (the first time being in Georgia, a few years ago), and we were very glad to be able to visit once again. We took my parents with us this time, after raving about our first experience with the restaurant. It was the Saturday before Christmas, so it was a busy night. We had only about a 25 minute wait, we were seated promptly, and our server came right over to the table. Brittany was a wonderful server. She made sure that our drinks were refilled, she delivered the food in a prompt manner, and always cleared away any empty plates. She was cheerful and friendly. The food was delicious! Everyone at our table was mentioning about how tasty everything was. I only wish that we had a Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen closer to us (in the Pittsburgh area), but will definitely make a trip back to WV to eat there again soon! read more

Wow I really wish we had one of these in Columbus! Aside from the long wait to get seated (I figured this meant it was good) I really liked this place. I ordered a Monte Cristo sandwich, one of my favorite dishes and so hard to find! It was massive, indulgent, and delicious! Came with some pretty good cole slaw although not the best ever. My friend got a huge hunk of baked pasta that had a funky name. He polished it off in no time flat and attested to its good flavor. Service was good, and the food was out in what felt like an instant. Even better, the prices were very reasonable. Never heard of this chain. We don't have any down in my area. We were on a road trip and wanted to have nice hour or so out of the car. We saw a sign on the highway and thought why not. It was Easter so there was not to many people eating out that night. We got a table right away. Our watercress was awesome. She was busy because of the holiday they were running on a short staff but that didn't cause her a bit of a problem. She made sure the drinks were out and full and that our food order was right.
