White texting my boss is noticed we had sat there for 1 hr and 10 mins no food. The waitress told us the kitchen was backed up, ok we waited in total 1hr and 25 minutes then my father asked another lady and she looked into it. We had the chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken, both were fantastic. The best anywhere. Mashed potatoes are def homemade not instant and so creamy especially with the gravy. Salads are the best and come with eggs, cheese and delicious croutons which aren't so hard you can hardly eat them. The ranch is always amazingly fresh and yummy. Our server IRIS is literally one of the best, sweetest and most attentive servers we have ever had ranging from fast food to fine dining!! We eat there at least once a month and have always had good meals. There is the occasional over or under cooked steak but that is rare, the Ribeye is excellent as are the Sirloins. Sides are all good, Grilled chicken salad is excellent w/good portion sizes. Service has been pretty good, sometimes when busy it can get backed up but not too bad. Like the location and the size of the restaurant, even though it does get crowded the atmosphere is good and the TV's over the bar always have some good sports on. Highly recommend. read more

I've been meaning to write this review, but just haven't had the time to get to it until now. We have gone to this specific location numerous times over the past 3 1/2 years and it's been pretty good, up until about 1 1/2 months ago or so. Last month, specifically, October 2023, we went here not long after they had opened; I mean, nothing like a good steak, right? Wrong. My steak arrived, and it was fine, but as I about halfway done with the 16 ounce ribeye I was consuming, I noticed and felt something sharp against my inner cheek. I ended up maneuvering the foreign object out of my mouth onto a napkin as conspicuous as I could be at the time. What I had spit out was an actual piece of the wire brush the grill/cook uses to brush off the grill grates. Un-freaking-believable. I called the waitress over and told her what had happened, she apologized and was actually really, genuinely sorry. She had the manager come over and I told her that they literally will kill someone if that wire would be swallowed accidentally. Ok, fine. A mishap. It happens. I got my meal comp'd and all is well. I ended up eating somewhere else, but cannot remember where it was. Two weeks ago, we returned to this same location. I opted on a steak. It arrived with mostly fat (I requested a 16 ounce ribeye); on top of that, it wasn't cooked properly for it was essentially still moo'ing on my plate. Sent back. Came back like a lump of raw zombie flesh. Strike two, I am done. Take it off the freakin' bill and don't offer me anything else. One of the managers came over and offered me another fresh steak. I declined. Then, the store manager (I assume) came over and offered many apologies for my (now) past two experiences at this location. She even gave us a $30.00 gift certificate for a dinner for two - that was appreciated. The icing on the cake is the first manager came by with another steak when I had already told him to not bring me anything else. Dude, really? It is bad enough I didn't want another steak at this juncture, but you bring me another one against my will, while your breath smelled of putrid wintergreen snuff. Do me a favor man, go brush your teeth thoroughly and use some decent mouthwash. You could also use a hearing test. So, let's go for a ten-pin shot: Here's yet another place I will never frequent again. Ever. It's getting rare these days when it comes to finding a restaurant that genuinely offers a pleasant dining experience. It's literally getting to the point where licking mites out of the street gutter would offer a better experience than most of these so called restaurants. Just saying. Only second time at a Texas Roadhouse. We were traveling cross country and this location was next to our hotel. We were seated quickly and within 15 seconds someone was at our tableside to take our drink orders and ask what we wanted as our meals. Everything was presented in rapid-fire succession. Service was rushed, the waitress while unfailingly polite (love the tee-shirts) proclaiming "I love my job" (NOT) My ribeye steak arrived per order, was tender, (if a bit fatty), but strangely tasteless. I added some salt, which resulted in a salty, tasteless steak. The size vs cost was fine, but but the meal was unsatisfying. Waitress came by several times to check on whether we needed an upsell on drinks or dessert, and presented us the bill before we had completed half our mains (No rush sir, here is the bill, [TRANSLATION, HURRY UP!]) In short, the entire dinner felt rushed and scripted, as if the staff is just reciting their memorized lines and were under orders to move the diners in and out quickly to keep the tables turning over. read more

Texas roadhouse is a good steak restaurant, but because I have sodium restrictions I look for someplace with low salt options. Of the steak Restaurants Texas roadhouse has the highest level of sodium of them all, even an order of fries with no salt is kind of high. steak is usually a low sodium option, but I believe Texas roadhouse marinades or rubs their steaks to the point that their sodium is high. We stopped at this Texas Roadhouse location on our way back home and chose it because we usually love Texas Roadhouse. Unfortunately we left pretty disappointed. The service was pretty great and our waitress was very nice. I ordered a 11oz (I think) ribeye, fries and a salad. My girlfriend ordered the filet medallions, rice and a salad. My daughter ordered the steak tips and mushrooms and rice. I ordered my steak medium and it came medium well. It was really thin as well. Our waitress asked me to check my steak to make sure it was cooked right, then immediately walked away. My steak was really salty as well. My girlfriend's filet medallions were really tough and her rice was almost inedible due to how salty it was. My daughter's rice was also very salty. She also barely had any mushrooms which are her favorite. My girlfriend got a mixed drink (can't remember the name of it, but it was blue in a margarita glass) that was cloyingly sweet and neither of us could taste any alcohol. For $85 for three of us, it was really disappointing and I feel like a lot of these places are doing the absolute minimum at the cheapest way possible and charging a premium. The Texas Roadhouse in Avon, IN has always been stellar and is the standard in which I judge the others. read more

Visiting Texas Roadhouse when we are in town, I usually am very happy with our experience. Last night was a little different. We sat at the bar as usual and ordered a few beers. For our dinners we had the salmon, broccoli, sweet potato for one entree which was very good. I tried the sirloin and rib combination with a baked potato, broccoli and a side of mushrooms. The steak was better than expected, but the ribs were over cooked. I asked for extra bbq sauce and that helped. If I wasn't hungry, I would have sent them back. These ribs must have sat under the heat lamp too long as they were dry and the exterior was like a roof shingle! Ribs should be juicy and fall off the bone. I am sure we will be back, but I was so disappointed with the ribs that I may skip them. read more

Today was our first time dining here. I walked in, and I was impressed that the restaurant was so clean. Our server was Heather, and she was so friendly and exactly what you would want in a server. We ordered the mixed platter appetizer, and everything was hot and very good. My husband had the steak for his entrée and he said it was delicious. My daughter had the grilled chicken and also commented on how good it was. I had the vegetable platter, which included a baked potato, green beans, and corn. Everything was absolutely delicious, hot, well seasoned, and satisfying. My son had the chicken tenders and fries, and ate every last bite. I've traveled the country for work and have eaten at more Texas Roadhouse locations than I can count. I've found them to be a good place to eat, great staff, and consistent service. Not at this location. Started with the young lady at the front door telling everyone they can either wait in their car or to stand outside in the rain. She didn't want anyone waiting inside as it made it too crowded for her. We were taken to our table and didn't notice there were no rolls in her hands. I went back to the front and grabbed a basket for our table. Passed a manager in red and she couldn't care a customer had to serve themself. Ordered drinks and an appetizer. Appetizer came fairly quick, but drinks didn't come until after we finished the appetizer when we finally flagged down a different manger in red. Salads came at a good time, but waited way too long for the main course. Sat with empty drinks. Told they were just too busy to wait on us. Main course food was good as normal. They were busy, but I've been to locations much busier and much better service. I struggle to recommend this location to anyone. read more

Really disappointed with my togo order. I had a long shift at work and thought I'd grab my favorite burger on my quick lunch break at the Triadelphia location and all I got was a burnt charcoal cold hockey puck of a burger with old nasty fries. I ordered my food online and I even showed up 10 minutes earlier that my order was due to be ready in case it was done early so it wouldn't get cold. Needless to say I didn't get to eat any dinner during my 12 hr shift because it was literally inedible. We were visiting from out if town, dropping daughter off to college at West Liberty. My husband and I had our 4 year old with us. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service, perfectly cooked food and joyous atmosphere. My husband is a critic when it comes to food cooked properly (specifically steak), as well as food temps. Everything was great, from the appetizers (we got 2) to the steak he ordered to the drinks and our daughter's meal (including the extra cherries she specially requested). Our little one thoroughly enjoyed the line dancing and tried to dance along in her booth seat. All together the bill was under $100 for us and we cannot stop talking about our experience. I live locally and have eaten here many times. The food is consistently good, but I have a few gripes that seem to happen far too often. When we order extra dressing for salads or cheese fries it practically never comes with the food (often have to ask several times and the food is almost consumed by then). Waiter seldom comes back to the table to check on drinks before the meal arrives (often have to go to the bar for water). After the appetizers are delivered the food comes way too fast so we don't have enough time to enjoy them. The servers are generally always trying hard and are polite, but also seem to have too many tables to be attentive. When possible, I sit at the bar as the service is always better there. read more

Simply put this place has good service, good food, and good times. Maybe a little higher on the price for the area, but sometimes its just worth it to pay a little more for quality. Now this seems to be a popular place for birthdays, although I thought the birthday celebration was a bit lacking in a short "yehaw" until the 8th one in an hour and then was happy is was quickly over. This place is about it's signature steaks, and signature drinks.
