I have been to this cheddars probably 20-30 times since they've opened a few years ago. I am still amazed at their food quality and quantity with the very fair prices. It is most definitely the best bang for your buck. Their drink menu is the best and for the best price I've seen in a restaurant. The ambiance and the server is almost that of a much higher class restaurant. The service is almost always perfect. However, most recently, I went a few days before thanksgiving ( im local so I knew they were going to be busy, and im always very understanding and gracious even in these cases) but the service was just an absolute nightmare. Our server, an older lady, kept forgetting things and blaming it on other people. I ordered a salad, and she advised me " not to get that because it has been sitting out all day " which was not reassuring considering I have ordered the exact salad multiple times before.. When the meals were brought out she forgot an entire meal and did not even notice it until she came back and we had to tell her. It took us nearly an hour to even get the first set of meals. While everyone around us got theirs much quicker, in a timely manner.. I will still go to cheddars, because I love them so dearly, but I will always be nervous to get hay same server again. read more

I would say that my total overall experience at Cheddars was a 5-6. We had a pretty long wait over all, for some all right food. Now the wait wouldn't be so bad if you maybe had good company and conversation, or business you could attend too on your device, in that case the wait wouldn't be so bad. As far as food, I kept it simple with a bacon cheeseburger, asked for it medium well, crispy bacon, no onion or tomato. When I got the burger, the burger exterior was black and tasted burnt, and the inside was dark brown, and the fries that came on the side were bland, kinda tasteless without any dipping sauce of your choice. Aside from the wait, and medium level food, the building is aesthetically pleasing. Clean subtle exterior and sign, welcoming and kind staff along with soothing lighting and just an all around good environment. But unfortunately you don't choose a restaurant based on good ambiance alone, so I wouldn't recommend this Cheddars to any first time newcomer to town if they're looking for a solid meal to end their long day. read more

Ordered food for takeout. Food arrived promptly however, that was the only good part. They didn't have the free croissants available. They forgot the gravy for the country fried chicken. They ran out of a side we ordered but did not substitute it with something else and they forgot to give another side to us. They could have been busy and we would have gladly waited longer to get the correct order but to have so many screw ups in one order is not good for business. read more

Love, love this place! So nice and the waiter that helped us was so sweet and made sure that we had our glasses filled up and were enjoying our food. I've been to other locations and this one is sub par to say the least was on hold for 25 minutes to call my order in and was given a 25 minute wait time for my food and it took 55 minutes the parking lot was empty and I was the only person waiting on food and when I finally received my order it was missing gravy and my sides for 2 meals I'd definitely recommend stopping at any other establishment I had tipped 15 percent already so it wasn't like I could voice my opinion on service that way stay away !!! read more

Horrible service. Maitre'd was disrespectful after we called and asked if we could arrive. They said yes as the kitchen would close at 11pm. We arrived and she told us she couldn't sit us that she had too many people and not enough staff. She didn't even listen when we explained that we had called previously and she was completely disrespectful and didn't even try to listen to options to be able to sit us. Then when we left our car wouldn't start and when we ask if anyone could help us 2 employees, chianne hall and Michel Joseph, jumped at the chance to help and had us on our way in 5 minutes. There food is good, table service is great but their take out service is horrible. I have ordered here twice for to-go and both times they either messed up the order, or forgot something. I get that they're busy and such but they send you a text message 15 minutes before your pickup time, ENSURING that your order is ready right as you pull up. Last time I went I waited an extra 30 minutes from the time they had told me to pick up at. At first someone came out and apologizing about messing up the order so they remade it. I only expected this to take 10-15 minutes MAX, but it took 30 minutes. When I went inside to To-Go no one was at the station so I had to call to get someone to come so I could talk to them. Once I had left I remembered that they forgot to give me my drinks, I get that was a mistake but before you gave me my order wouldn't you review the ticket? Especially after it was remade? read more

I am a Cheddar's fan and this is one of the worst service I have ever received. I tried calling and putting in an order to-go right when they opened and nobody answered. I decided to do an order in person instead and nobody was in front to assist me. I waited at least 5 minutes until someone finally showed up and didn't even greet me. The whole time I waited for my food for 20 minutes on the to-go side, the phone was ringing and getting ignored by the server (it was kept ringing until I left). I went outside and a lady was patiently waiting in front ready to be assisted and nobody was around to do so. On top of that, the food portion is smaller and price went up! This is my first ever review on a restaurant. The service at this location was absolutely TERRIBLE. I work in food service and know the struggles restaurants go through but this was ridiculous. Was told it would be a 10 minute wait for a party of 2 and ended up waiting over an hour with multiple parties of more people that went in after us being seated before. When we got seated, it took over 40 minutes for our appetizer and it didn't seem to be busy. When the food came, the server picked up a shrimp with her bare hand to put it on the plate in front of us. Later, We had pressed the "call server" on the tablet and server walked by multiple times before coming to us. After paying with cash, server kept the change, it wasn't a lot so I let it be but she didn't even ask if I wanted it back. Would put 0 stars if I could DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

We waited over 45 minutes, they locked the doors while we waited outside and never came out to tell us that they planned on not serving us at all. First of all we are from Buffalo Ny writing this review. You know the city that has the 5-10 feet of snow every year and that's the norm. We came to Florida to escape the winter. This place was FREEZING, I mean everyone around us had big heavy jackets on. We said something to the manager TWICE she flat out ignored is. Our Mac n cheese and food was actually cold in FLORIDA that's how bad it was. I'm sorry I really wanted to like this place but the management staffs blatant disregard for multiple customer complaints and the food to be honest isn't above average. This is a nice new place in the area. I like the atmosphere; it seems a little bit more fancy with dim lighting, but it's still reasonably priced with good home cooked food. Apparently one of their signature things is to give everyone at the table a warm croissant drizzled with honey butter. The 1st one is complimentary, then you can buy more if you want. It was very good and certainly something different. My food was good. Their entrees come with 2 sides and they have a great selection of those, lots to choose from, plus you could also add on a salad so it could be very filling. My only gripe is that the regular menu lists only 2 beers on draft, Budweiser and Blue Moon. Right below that it specifically states ask your server about local craft beers. Well apparently they don't have any, the server was even joking about Darden owning this chain and that that's not a thing at any of their restaurants. ?? They did have at least a few more draft beers than the 2 that were listed but they're all standard major brands, nothing local. So I feel like they really need to fix their menu. No happy hour specials or anything like that, no app.. I think this is a restaurant worth trying but it won't be in my normal rotation. read more

First time we have ever visited Cheddar's. Service was great. Loved my Painkiller cocktail and my steak was cooked as ordered and I loved the seasoning. My husband had the fried shrimp and the batter was too thick and the shrimp lacked flavor. But overall it was an enjoyable experience. read more

First off let me start with saying that there was absolutely nothing wrong with our waiter David who busted his butt and was hustling taking care of not only the bar but tables as well. He did an amazing job, very polite and friendly. Our problem lies within the back of the house. We ordered appetizers which when they came out were cold when should've been hot. Didn't even get to finish our appetizers and our entrees were at our table. Which also were not hot. One of the entrees was a Buffalo chicken wrap that was supposed to have pickles and shredded cabbage and only came out with chicken and cheese. Also cold. The chicken pot pie had bones in it. We complained to one woman who we thought was a manager and she didn't even apologize. Another gentleman came over to ask how our food was and we told him everything that was wrong with the apps and entrees. He even made a comment that the pot pies come from a distributor which tells me that there pot pies are not fresh nor made in house. He did apologize and removed 3 of the entrees from the bill. This Kissimmee location is fairly new. A little bit of a wait for the table but that is normal for a Saturday night. The honey croissants are delicious and not overdone by the glaze on them. I ordered the chicken fried chicken that comes with green beans and mashed potatoes. The green beans were the most flavorful I've had in a while. The mashed potatoes are real potatoes and were chunky mashed if you know what I mean. The chicken that was on the Texas toast was 2 huge cutlets, so much I could only eat one, but it was cooked to perfection and fresh. The white gravy that was on the potatoes and chicken was real and not some canned or reheated gravy and was thick and rich. I enjoyed the food. Our server was very friendly knowledgeable and attentive. All the employees seemed happy and friendly. I rarely go out because of everything that is going on in the world. Tonight my friends and I ventured out to this Cheddar's, we were seated at 8:32 pm. Got waters for the table at 8:50 pm delivered by the manager because our waitress was "too busy". The waitress passed by our table 11 times before she spoke to us, and when she did it was like a cold chill. She was not personable acted as if we were interrupting her time. We finally received our appetizers at 9:20 pm after ordering them about 25 minutes before hand. The entrees finally arrived at 9:45 pm, at this point we were hangry and wanted to eat and go home! But there was something wrong with all the entrees all the meats were dosed in salt, the fish was slimy, it was an awful experience and the waitress got snippy with the entire party because we told her what was wrong with the food. Good place to eat. My wife and i sat at the bar today and Steve was our bartender. Everything was fine until the two a$$hole ladies pulled up to the right of us. While Steve was putting our order in these two were SO inpatient and started back at him to get his attention WHILE he was trying to finish our order. Worse yet, when he approached them they lost their minds on him about their to go order THAT HE DIDNT EVEN TOOK! Yelling and condescending and insulting him, it was ridiculous, completely ruining me and my wife's date night. I was highly impressed with the restraint that Steve maintained because there is no reason for one human being to treat another human being like that. These two animals were completely taking advantage of the customer/server interaction. And guess what? Because they acted like jackasses they get their food FOR FREE! So let me get this straight, sit there quietly and politely get a bill but if you want free sh!t just go apeshit on a poor server and your whole bill will get comped. On top of that I'm sure Steve got reprimanded later when ACTUALLY he should be supported and told, "you know what? I'm sorry you had to go through that. Thank you for keeping yourself professional." Lastly to you "restauraneurs" why do you consistently reinforce this behavior??? To keep a customer? THESE ARENT CUSTOMERS!
