Tilapia and Grilled Shrimp with garlic cheese sauce.

Just ate at this restaurant for the first time. We were traveling from West Virginia to Georgia. My husband had the Chicken Pot Pie and house salad. I had the Tilapia and Shrimp. Both meals were excellent! Food was hot and seasoned perfectly. The very best part of our evening was our server, Christian. He was efficient, kind, and so very friendly. He answered our questions and truly made us feel welcome! Just found a new favorite place to eat!

T-bone the was also supposed to be medium but the cow walked in and laid down

Would not recommend this place 1st time ever been to a Cheddars not looking for anymore.Plus service was very slow he was nice but did not do anything for a tip barely brought out the food an hour after ordering. The ambiance was nice and clean.

I will never go to Cheddars in Kingsport, Tn on Eastman Dr. !!!! They are rude and cannot cook a Ribeye Steak to save their lives. If you order a Ribeye medium rare, would you expect to cut into it and the fat is still quite solid like never having been on any heat and the outside of the Ribeye slightly grayish and inside bleeding like you just sliced into an artery??? I think not!!!! They made me another steak and brought it out looking the same way!!!!! Mind you they did this again a third time and then treated me like I was a horrible person that killed their family pet. Then they brought me another one but IN A GO BOX!!!!!!!! THEY "TOOK IT OFF THE BILL"!@#$%^&*. Please understand my folks and a family friend was there with me for my birthday surprise dinner. I have probably never been so hurt, embarrassed, angry and shocked by how we were treated and I am not sure who the woman was that came to our table and told me "TO CHECK IT AND SEE IF THIS ONE IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU" in a very degrading, insulting and acquisatory voice like it was my fault the steak was cooked wrong!!!!! This was also when she took it off the ticket. I am so upset that my folks and friend tried to do something so thoughtful and our whole dinner together was destroyed because we were treated like trash. Save yourselves from this place. WHAT A BIRTHDAY BUMMER!!!!!!!!

Omg. The restaurant is sooooo dirty. The bathroom is dirty, the booth/ booth wall is dirty and the food is old and cold. I will not be dining at cheddars anymore. I should've known the food was gonna be trash when I see the trashed bathroom.

5 stars goes out towards Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen's delicious honey butter croissants! They're not that much; just $1.99 for a pair!

I always love going to Cheddar's and when my aunt treats me it's always a trip-and-a-half! My mouth waters and then drools over the anticipation of the beyond delicious honey buttered croissant and the Santa Fe Spinach Dip! For the entreé, I got the Grilled Chicken Alfredo with Penné instead of the fettuccini. Broccoli and carrots were also added to the dish. Are your taste buds craving it yet? Oh, yum! Yum! Yum! I can hardly wait to go back and sample other item in their arsenil! It was supposed to come with a garlic roll, but I didn't get it. I ain't mad at them for that little thing, however, since it was our lovely servers fault for forgetting such a small little thing, I asked her to substitute the honey buttered croissant. No problem! I like getting my way! How 'bout you? There were three of us: myself, my fiancé, and my aunt. 1. My aunt ordered the BBQ shortribs, with a side of cole slaw (I'm very picky about my slaw), mashed potatoes (she put her salsa on her potatoes). 2. And my fiancé ordered chicken-fried-steak, with mashed potatoes and toast. It was supposed to have been green beans with this order, but he substituted a creamy cheese cup instead. His Native American eyes just lit up when he took his first bite. I would love to have tried it, but he had already devoured the tiny cup. (He's a big man, but I love him anyway!)

Hadn't been there five years before Covid so it had been over 11 years. They have doubled or tripled in size. We lucked out and got there at 1:30. I believe they open at 11:30 on Saturday and we hit at a perfect time we got seated. We had our drink order within a minute of being seated, the lady explained everything we waited 20 minutes and was served our meat and all our sides for those of you not familiar with the restaurant. You are served family style in case you don't know exactly what family style means is that they bring a bunch of different sides to you get to pick the meats two of them per table and they come on platters. we happen to get pork chops and fried chicken. The pork chops had a dark gravy that was almost barbecued and was a little spicy so our table didn't quite care for those so they went with the country fried steak in a second helping of fried chicken. It got busier and the fried chicken was a bit dry the second time better to do chicken salad than to eat hot although I do like piping hot fried chicken! Side dishes vary 7 to 9 different sides. They automatically bring to the table that carrot soufflé is one of our favorites. I've yet to replicate. They have Yukon gold mashed potatoes, gravy beans, and whatever beans of the day, cream corn, green beans, corn salad, fresh rolls, and fresh skillet cornbread with delicious rail butter served on a slab and room temperature so it's easy to spread. There are several meats to choose from catfish and pork chops and fried chicken buttermilk chicken, which wasn't served on Saturday but is awesome. There were pork chops, country ham there was boiled cabbage, and the time before there were pickles and apple butter and cottage cheese years ago, so their sides vary but the carrot soufflé is still wonderful. You would swear were sweet potatoes!

The main building is a lovely and spacious modern inn that balances comfort and traditional elements with open and wide modern floor plans and bright spaces in a pleasing way while retaining the cozy fireplace experiences of more traditional settings. A first floor outdoor veranda opposite the main entrance stretches the length of the main building overlooking the well groomed hillside vineyards and a stocked, picturesque fishing pond. The hillside stretches up the horizon and with the westward facing veranda, offers stunning sunset views along with wine service. Below is a patio off the main restaurant and bar offering even more seating around fire pits with couches and Adirondack chairs with appetizer and drinks available for the bar/restaurant. We toured a king 2 room suite with a large sitting area separated from an equally large and well appointed sleeping area with a private large balcony that also faced the western sunset over the vineyards. The rooms were described as more akin to an apartment whereas the 9 onsite yurts accommodations were described more akin to a condo, described as pet friendly and a quiet community. Behind the yurts is a large barn structure that serves as a tasting room with an outdoor seating area with Edison lights strung around the overhang creating a warm space to enjoy the vineyards end production, currently nine wine vintages. Beside the main building are two much larger shaped yurt structures housing a full fitness center and a spa as will as an outdoor pool. We dined at Hickory for dinner and enjoyed their farm to table, Appalachia oriented menus. That will be a separate review but it hits 10/10 for hospitality, service, presentation and food excellence. We plan a fall trip for an overnight stay when the vineyards come in just before harvest to get the full experience! Also, we initially had a glass of their Chardonnay and being pleased with this, we opted to enjoy a bottle with dinner even though the wine list had equally excellent choices from familiar vineyards. This is highly recommended!

Never have I really ventured outside of that and I couldn't actually tell you why. When my kids and I made a quick 1 day Dollywood trip over to Pigeon Forge, 23 we're looking for a place to eat prior to the big day at the park. What's funny is I relied in Googles AI (Gemini) to tell me where to go. I was driving around and was asking for recommendations. It said Mama's Farmhouse was a popular place to eat for families and it was all-you-can-eat. The kids wanted fried chicken and Salisbury steak, which was in the menu for that day. What a coincidence! If I could summarize it, this is basically a local Cracker Barrel-style restaurant but the food is a lot better. It's tucked away off of a side road off of the main highway 321 road and reminds me a lot of the Applebarn Restaurant down the road. The ambiance is this old timey feel, like many of the establishments around the area. The fried chicken (bone-in), chicken tenders, fries catfish, and Salisbury steak was what we ordered for our mains. Everything was delicious! The seasoning had the perfect amount of salt across all the dishes and sides. The chicken was juicy and tender. The Salisbury steak was solid, some of the best I've ever had. Savory, rich brown gravy, and tender chunks of beef. All the sides were amazing too, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, and chicken and dumplings. Honestly there wasn't a negative thing about this place. I would go back in a heartbeat!!

The online menu gave plenty of eye candy and we were absolutely starving by the time we arrived Friday evening. The staff was very attentive and kind. It's clear that this place is fully operated by word-of-mouth and return guests. It's a huge establishment with several rooms by big fireplaces and Lazy Susan's to pass around the family style meal. The menu was a little difficult to navigate so many options laid out, but only certain options available per day. So ultimately, we were not able to order exactly what we wanted, but we ordered what was available for Friday, which was the Salisbury steak, fried fish, and fried chicken. All of these meats came in a small portion to split amongst our three people, and with unlimited sides. Some of the sides were pretty impressive. I would have to say my favorite side was the broccoli casserole, followed by the mashed potatoes and gravy, which were real potatoes! The mac & cheese was more on the creamy side versus the gooey cheesy side. Unfortunately, some of our chicken was undercooked, and the skin was very thin and not too crispy. The fish was decent, not dried out whatsoever, which is a pretty good compliment. While my coworker said that the chicken and dumplings were her favorite, I failed to enjoy them :( All in all, this was not our favorite restaurant from our trip this weekend and it appears that big groups and big families really do enjoy dining at this establishment.

We had the fried chicken skins, the à la carte ribeye and sirloin, mashed potatoes, broccolini, and summer squash, and then the cobbler for dessert. I had the Hanger Steak as my entree, and it was delicious. I especially loved the potato dumplings! My friend had the Kansas City Strip, cooked medium rare, with broccolini. Initially, the steak was overcooked, but the staff quickly cooked another steak and made it right. Overall a really good experience! Downtown Sevierville has really evolved, and we enjoyed walking around and exploring after dinner.
