The time Butch was scheduled to be here, we had to unexpectedly leave the house. My husband unlocked the door and told him where the room and stucco damage was. Butch seemed like this was a really big inconvenience. Ok, no big deal. We text him after we got back in town if we have a 12 ft room, if a 12 ft roll would work or be safe and do a 15 ft roll of carpet. He said that would be a question for the person installing our carpet. I thought it was you?? Carpet people were friendly so we had them do the install. I text for when we could schedule the stucco and did not get a timely response. Darin had Butch call, and again, seemed like a huge inconvenience for him. We decided to use another repair company based off our experiences with Butch.

It was a traumatic situation with black mold that had formed but they knew exactly how to fix it. They had to saw into my walls up to four feet off the ground and spray fungicide. I was worried it wouldn't look as good as before but they did an excellent job with the sheetrock and texturizing and painting. You can't tell there was a problem now. They also ripped up all the laminated wood and replaced it with a porcelain tile and it looks gorgeous. I ended up having them redo the bathrooms and they did a fantastic upgrade. They worked in a timely manner and Boston, the project manager, was always available and worked closely with me, even though I was out of town. This company uses good craftsmen from Alex and Skylar to Luis and Julio. I'm convinced Luis could build a whole house. They also worked really well with my insurance company making sure all the paperwork was submitted. I highly recommend them.

I put 50% down at that time. It took two days to remove the old flooring and install new. They stayed on day two until the job was done. They found a few complicated issues, like a hidden leak under the old flooring, and flooring under flooring in another small area. The crew in my home exceeded my expectations, were always professional. I'm just glad the job is done now. Removing old flooring was way more dusty than I anticipated, sort of like cutting a sheet of drywall in your living room. If you're going to remove old flooring and have new installed, remove all the electronics and have extra fans on hand as well as new air filters for AC-heat, etc. If you're going to replace bathroom flooring I would suggest having a complete set of toilet tank plumbing and gaskets on hand, just in case. You can always return it un-opened later. The crew is likely to need access to an outdoor garden hose and a place to dump excess flooring level goo. I would recommend this company for your flooring projects.

I wanted to update my review to address the misstatements by the owner. The FIRST time we had them…read morecome out to give us an estimate was for a home remodel in late June 2021. To date, a year later we never got that estimate. This time there was no home remodel. It was floors. So the owner was incorrect and deflecting. We had a flood in our house and our "remodel" was new floors and some patch work on the drywall from the flood. Two small areas of drywall. No other remodel. For flooring they said could have been done within a week or two. But 8 weeks later with our floors torn up we could not get an estimate to save our lives. If someone is calling you once a week for 2 months about floors and you can't get back to them, that is just bad business pure and simple. Hope the family gets it together for future customers. We've since completed our project by having another company come out, measure and install our floors the same week we stopped trying to reach out to San tan. Go with anyone else.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Exact Construction and Restoration! Trevor…read moreRoberts and his mitigation team were beyond epic! After an extremely frustrating experience with another restoration company that did nothing for two weeks other than blow fans, take moisture reads while driving up my insurance claim, working with Exact Restoration was truly a night and day difference and literally a breath of fresh air! From the moment they became involved, they were ten steps ahead. Communication was clear, consistent and proactive. I was kept informed about what they were finding, what needed to happen next, and why. My questions were answered even before asking them. There were no excuses, no unnecessary delays, and no leaving me wondering what was happening with my own home! This is how restoration should be done. Trevor, in particular, has been phenomenal. He's an absolute wealth of information but just as importantly, he brings tremendous integrity, professionalism and humanity to his work. Dealing with significant water intrusion in your home is incredibly stressful, and having someone who is knowledgeable, responsive, straightforward and genuinely kind makes an enormous difference. Trevor made a very difficult situation so much easier to navigate. What also impressed me was the measured approach Exact Restoration took. They weren't looking to make the situation bigger and more expensive than it needed to be. They assessed what was actually necessary, explained their reasoning, and moved the work forward efficiently and professionally. After what I had experienced previously, that level of integrity meant everything to me. The difference between the two experiences could not have been more dramatic. What had previously become prolonged and unnecessarily complicated finally started moving once Exact Restoration stepped in. I went from constantly having to chase answers to working with a team that was already thinking several steps ahead. Their professionalism, communication, responsiveness and integrity have far exceeded my expectations. In an industry where homeowners are often calling because something has already gone terribly wrong, the people who show up afterward matter enormously. Exact Restoration understands that. I would highly, highly recommend Trevor and the Exact Restoration team to anyone dealing with water damage/restoration. They have been nothing short of exceptional, and I am incredibly grateful I was finally connected with them. I guarantee you'll be in very capable hands!!

West Coast Flooring was the subcontractor on an insurance claim I handled through Tactical…read moreRestoration, and unfortunately I would not recommend either company. West Coast charged premium prices for poor-quality work and obvious corner-cutting. At the time, I didn't scrutinize the cost as closely since insurance was paying, but in hindsight the combination of overcharging and subpar workmanship is unacceptable--especially on a flood mitigation project. They installed LVP flooring throughout my home. Early on, their mistakes actually worked in my favor: they tore out the wrong tile and had to replace additional flooring at no cost to me. While this may have been partly due to Tactical Restoration's poor communication and lack of coordination, it still reflects a broader pattern of carelessness on the job. About two years after installation, the flooring began to cup and shift. I brought in multiple independent flooring contractors for repair estimates (around $1,500), and every one of them said the same thing--the floor was not installed correctly. There was inadequate expansion space, no transitions, and likely no vapor barrier, which is especially concerning given the flood-related nature of the work. Unfortunately, the issues surfaced just beyond the state's two-year warranty window, leaving me with no practical legal recourse. When I raised these concerns, I encountered deflection and avoidance rather than accountability. Tactical Restoration eventually acknowledged that corners had been cut, but claimed the steps they skipped were not "legally required" at the time. Regardless, manufacturer guidelines exist for a reason. I still tried to resolve the situation reasonably and asked for a fair quote to fix the problems and move on. The quote I received was $2,484--nearly $1,000 higher than every other contractor I consulted. Overall, the experience reflects poor workmanship, inflated pricing, and a lack of responsibility. I would not use West Coast Flooring again.
