We show her that we have the order confirmation email and receipt but the manager still did not provide any food. The app even said order completed. The excuses he manager gave was "oh the app does that all the time you will get a refund in a couple days" it's been about two weeks and she has not received any refund. My wife and I love checkers. But we hate this location. We were rushed at the drive through to give our order. The manager is very rude and acts as if she was pissed of because she has a job. Treated us as if we were wrong for spending our money at this location. My wife asked for extra lettuce and tomatoes on the big chicken which comes with lettuce. Her sandwich got neither. Her sandwich was bone dry yet we got charged for lettuce and tomato. On top of that. I had to ask for my receipt twice. She need customer service training immediately. She overcharged me 80 cents., My gift to her, it's Christmas. when I ask for a receipt, she stated the be register is not providing receipts, really. Rather than try to work with me on the fact that something was prohibiting these text messages from opening up so they could be scanned. This was not the first time it happened. She'd rather yell at me as if this was my first time ever going through this scenario! There have been times when these things worked, and they did not. And yes, I did have my mobile data enabled (4g speed). Checkers, please look into this...? Yet, I have never been treated so rudely because of it. "You gotta do this! You gotta that! I'm just explaining it to ya - I dun' done about 5 of these already in front of me!" What does that have to do with anything?! As Checkers go, this is a five-star. I've never had a bad experience here. Service, speed, food quality and food temp have all been on point. And they're open till 4 weeknights, which is convenient. There's always a line but rarely much of a wait. It's popular with police. I have a few Checkers in easy driving distance but this is my go-to. read more

I wish I could put zero stars. I have never seen so many 1 stars for a place you're only really supposed to be at for 15mins. Literally in 15 or in my case 40 (original wait time included). Every CFL in my area ,apparently, is having water problems- so I went to Checkers thinking I hadn't been there in a while (and will never go back) .... specifically the one at 6000 Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain. I used the left lane after waiting in line for 20mins. Got to the speaker to hear "use the other lane" and that was it. Pulled up to the window to find out why I had to go back into a line I had already waited in. Two employees- one male the other female- pretended to not see me and when I stared honking my horn they started to mouth things through the window and pointing at the other line... because apparently my forehead reads "lip reader". Literally no one was able or willing to come to the window to say anything. At which point I got out of my car and asked for a manager. The male who was mute before could finally speak to yell at me to say "we told everyone else to go to the other line and they did it".... what does that have to do with me? Also knowing this has been happening all day- why did no one take the time to fix it?! And the female closed and locked the pick up window. When the manager came to window- more talking and no listening. If someone had just come to the window when I first pulled up I would have said there is no sign telling anyone it's closed. But her response was "we know now there is no sign and wouldn't have known that if I had not said anything" (but they did know bc your boy just literally said he's been telling people that all day) but why did it take so much effort and drama for this store STILL NOT to act professional enough to treat their customers like PEOPLE. With her, as sweetly as she said everything (me comparing her to the two people who obviously don't need a job anywhere), still not adequate. She said the speaker is out on the second lane- before writing this I saw a comment FROM 2012, saying the speaker was out. 6 years later it's still broken- no sign indicating it being broken and no one human or professional enough to handle either of those tasks. I asked for the number for the GM - both times it rung for 5 mins then disconnected (no option to leave a voicemail). I called the customer service line and I was told the district manager would call me. We will see if that happens. Honestly- they used being busy as an excuse. Every job gets busy- LITERALLY EVERY JOB and you work in the fast food industry. So instead of just taking my simple ass order for French Fries because that's all I wanted- they continued to ask me to go back in line and wait. Disappointed- annoyed- and still hungry. I rather wait for CFL to open then to ever darken a Checkers drive through again. Get a manager who can handle her employees or hire employees who care about their job.
