I have heard a lot of horrible things about this location but I really wanted to try it anyways and it did not disappoint!!! It was affordable, I paid $11 and some odd cents for two burgers and a banana shake. I liked that the employees were like normal people and didn't do the fake nice customer service talk. The drive through was clean and quick. The burgers were actually really good and lots of veggies and didn't hurt my stomach like most fast food places. It is ok fast food burger, soft buns, toppings are pretty full and it is not dry like big chains sometimes. Their sweet tea is pretty nice though, better than McDonald's, Wendy's...... Apparently they use gold peak sweet tea, must be a different blend of leaves than Lipton. read more

If only recommend Checkers for DoorDash orders. They seem to take precedence over drive thru customers. Went through a couple weeks ago and got stuck in the drive thru for an hour bc once you get in there if anyone is in front of or behind you there's NO way to get out. In the last 2 weeks I have gone to Checkers only to be disappointed both times. First I ordered the baconzilla whish is advertised as bacon in every bite. I get home to find no bacon anywhere. Called spoke with the manager and he was very nice and professional. Told me he would take care of it the next time I was there. So I go back and order the same thing again. Get to the window ask the cashier to not charge my card until I get to speak with manager. He just charged my card and called me a Karen for asking to speak to the manager and then threw my food in the trash. I guess this is how we handle customers. The drive thru representatives need more training. I ordered a #1 double no ketchup make a large with a sweet tea no ice and a plain hamburger. Karon was the person at the drive thru window. Instead of saying," will that complete your order"? I got "what else"? No total amount, did not repeat my order to make sure everything was correct. Just a "pull up to the window". I pulled up to the window Karon gave me the amount. Before handing him my card I said again NO KETCHUP on the Bufford Burger. He said no problem...yelled it back to the assembly line. Processed my card, then handed me a medium drink. Karon said ,"oh I rung you up for a medium sir!, I said no worries I took the medium drink. On the way home I ate maybe 3 fries. When I get home finally my son open the burger and noticed it indeed had ketchup on it. I went back and they replaced the burger I asked them to replace the cold fries also. Tiffany the manager on duty said because I ate some they can't replace the fries. I said wait a minute I would not be back here if my order was completed correctly. She said it's company policy and you can call corporate if you want they will tell you the same thing. Service was not fast. Lines were horrible. Staff did not want to provide drink tray. Staff congregating outside and smoking cigarettes. Drive thru staff was loud and ghetto. Forgot my fries to my combo. Staff told me to park in handicap to bring food out . Bag had sauce all over it from wings. The sauce ended up ruining my outfit. The first and second time we came here we came an hour + before closing, both times there was one car blocking the left hand drive thru. The first time we went through the right hand drive thru and they told us they were closed, the second time, we went to the walk up and passed someone just leaving with a bag food, and then when we approached the window we were told they were closing early because there was only 3 of them there, when someone had literally just got food 30 seconds before we walked up. We have never ate there, and been unsuccessful both times trying to try it. Won't be back again. If you want food make sure you arrive at 8 am, two hours before they open, and hopefully they won't turn you down due to being lazy and wanting to close.
