Guys I cannot believe it when I tell you how awful this checkers location truly is. I'm not sure if they're under staffed or if the employees are being over worked or what, but I went Tuesday night around 6:15 p.m and my experience was awful. I ordered the 2 for $6 sandwich deal, a fry lovers XL, and a 4 piece mozzarella sticks. My order was the last order that they took for the time being sense there was only 2 people working and one of them was being trained. They asked me to pull around to the mobile order pick up side and I did, I waited about 20 minutes before my food was even made. While I waited numerous cars pulled in to order and to my surprise the manager announced that they are not taking any more orders for the time being. Everyone was upset and she was not changing her mind. When I finally got my food I tried it, the fry's were soggy, and the mozzarella sticks were fried way too long. The only thing that I could eat was my chicken sandwich. If you're in the mood for some good fast food with fast service do not go to this location. read more

I saw this place coming into town and looked it up, seemed like it would be good. I did a mobile order and pulled up to get it and the recording was going asking what I wanted and I said "I have a mobile order" before I could get my full sentence out I was rudely interrupted by a woman yelling "wrong lane" if I hadn't already done a mobile order I would've left...... she then says "you're already here ughhh just pull up its ready" I pull up to the window there's a guy there very rude and hostile "here's your food" acts like he's handing it to me then pulls it away to say "next time you need to use the other lane" he hands me my food, my child was in the car with me he was even confused on why they were being so hostile. The food tasted like it the burgers had been sitting there all day and not fresh. As for the "line" situation NO ONE ELSE WAS THERE. So why make a big deal and they could've nicely informed me vs coming at me and as for next time? Thought I'd try their chicken sandwich, Big mistake! It was like beef jerky. Must have been sitting there for hours and should have been tossed long before I arrived. One bite and I threw it out. As a local this is my go to Checkers. Sure the automated drive thru is different, but this place is always quick and serves fresh food. The workers have always been attentive and follow complex orders to a T. It's easy to pull into and out of and is well lit for those late night food runs! read more

I've been struggling to find even something remotely positive to say about my recent experience at this Checkers location. I was in and out quickly - considering since I watched the manager scoop fries from the bin and throw them back into the fryer - a short time later, she pulled them out and put them into the cup which was then placed into my bag. I was quite shocked at the fact that a large order of fries is $2.99 and they couldn't even bother to make fresh fries. I felt bad for the few cars behind me that had ordered chicken because she did the same thing to their food as well. So, I guess that is how they keep food costs down? I ordered two Bacon Chicken Philly sandwiches and a large order of fries. Once I got home, my husband and I noticed that both sandwiches were beef and not chicken. I tried calling the location with the number printed on the receipt and after the phone ringing for two minutes, I drove back to get their screwup straightened out. I waited in the drive-thru line approximately ten minutes before getting to the speaker and another ten minutes waiting to get to the window to get my corrected order. As I am sitting there waiting, the manager and other employees were talking about orders that had been placed by other customers (i.e. large Big Buford combo with a diet coke and a large strawberry milkshake) - the manager stated, "what's the point in ordering the diet coke when the milkshake pretty much cancels it out". Throughout the entire clusterfuck they never once apologized for the inconvenience that it had caused us as the ordeal wasted about an hour of my time. Next time we are craving Checkers, we will opt to travel to the ISB location. read more

This restaurant is absolutely garbage. I go here not for myself, but for Door Dash, and I can say that both times I have went, I have waited close to an hour if not more than, and when they finally give you the food it's room temp. The first time I tried this place I went through the drive thru to try and be quick, when I got to the window (45 minutes later) they then told me to please park and someone will bring it out to me. I then parked and waited. After 30 more minutes passed, I left. Then I went back last night to give them a second chance, maybe they were just busy??? Nope. This time I used the window so if I had to wait an hour again, I could just leave and not be stuck in the drive thru, and it's a good thing I did. We waited 10 minutes at the window before ANYONE would pay the slightest bit of attention to use. We tell them we're here with Door Dash, and that we're just picking up an order (which mind you was already placed 10 minutes PRIOR TO ME GETTING THERE TO BEGING WITH) and say that their shake machine is down, and told me to get ahold of the customer, then walked away and told me to wait on calling, then they just never came back. While waiting we watch an employee (we believe it was the manager on shift) pull a THC Cartridge from her apron and place it in her pant pocket, then she immediately grabbed trash to take out and went out the door. (But some good news is, she did in fact remove her apron before taking out trash ) once we watched her disappear behind the dumpster to go have a good ol fashioned smoke session, we decided we weren't waiting anymore. It had already been an hour and absolutely no one in building had any sense of urgency nor would anyone communicate with us on what was going on. They all acted like the windows were just walls. Me & a group of friends was trying to place our order through drive through last night . The lady at the window took 10mins to get to us. She did not greet us nor offered to try any of their special deals.She went straight to saying "you can place your order."Then my friend asked if they had a special dessert that was being advertised on the commercials for a limited time only & he had tried this particular dessert in Jacksonville,FL. There is nothing even remotely positive about this Checkers so I won't even begin to pretend that there is. The employees that work here could care less about you, and could care less if your food is fresh or if your order is even accurate for that matter. The review left by Jackie in 2014 is still an accurate description of this Checkers location today in 2016. Honestly, I am amazed that they are still in business. The last 5 times I ordered food from this location, my order was messed up 4/5 times. The 1st two times I drove back and had them correct my order on the spot. Apparently asking for a burger w/ ketchup ONLY is beyond their level of comprehension, as this is what they messed up on each and every time I ordered from this place. On my 3rd visit I stood in line for 35 minutes at the window as I watched several cars pull through the drive thru, place an order, and receive their food while I stood at the window waiting. This led me to believe that they are graded on drive thru performance based on time, but not at the walk-up window, as I had placed my order long before many of these vehicles had even pulled up. For the record I wasn't one of those customers that order 5 of everything on the menu, I only ordered two cheeseburger combo meals. When I was finally handed my food I asked the manage 2x if both burgers were ketchup ONLY and she assured me that they were. I should have verified this myself before leaving, but after waiting so long in line with my 6 year old I just wanted to get home so my daughter could eat. Both sandwiches were wrong...forget the ketchup ONLY, one of the sandwiches wasn't even a cheeseburger! This time I went back and not only asked them to remake my entire order correctly, and fresh, but also asked for my money back as well as coupons for my next 2 combo meals to be on the house. On my 4th visit, where my entire meal was on the house, this was the only time I had ever received a correct order that was fresh, and accurate. On my 5th visit my order was messed up again, big surprise. Thankfully I only live a few blocks away. This time I immediately asked to speak to a manager or supervisor. The girl working at the register already knew why I was there, she asked if I had ordered a burger ketchup ONLY. So obviously who ever got my burger had already been back to complain as well. I explained to the supervisor that not only was my order wrong but that it is consistently wrong almost every time that I order from that location and wanted to know why. The young girl was very rude and did not even apologize to me for my order being messed up. She just insisted that they were busy. Seriously? There were only 2 cars on drive thru and noone behind me at the window when I originally placed my order, and only 1 car at the drive-thru when I came back. She closed the window on me while I was still trying to talk to her, but I could hear her telling the employees to remake my food. When she re-opened the window to give me my food, she practically threw my money back at me (which I didn't even ask for) along with the food, and then slammed the window shut without saying a word, no apology, nothing. Did I ever go back and complain, or complain to corporate? Absolutely not! I gave them more opportunities to keep me as a customer than what most customers would have ever put up with. They lost me as a customer, and will never eat or order anything from that location again. I suggest you find some place else to order your food from unless your okay with them messing up your order, giving you cold food, or fries that have been re-tossed into the fryer. With employees that care so little about the customers and or the quality of the food they serve, I'd honestly be afraid to know how they handle the food when noones watching. If they don't care about your food when you're placing an order, what makes you think that the food would actually be handled with any amount of care or safety when noones watching? I bet they could care less about actually following food safety guidelines. I certainly will never order from here again and neither should you. read more

We stopped at this location on a roadtrip, so unfortunately we won't be back. The lady who took our order got it right and had everything correct on the first try, including special requests. When we arrived at the window, she was very friendly and gave us extra bags to separate our individual orders. The food was good and so was the customer service. Sad part about this review is that I've been coming to this location for years& I love Checkers food. I will never return to this location tho!! Cashier's are incredibly rude! It's not ok and I will not be spending another penny of my money to be treated as such. We we're not greeted nor thanked, in fact no communication what so ever.. snatch my card from my 16year olds hand and handed food out of the window without a single word...just dirty looks. That's something when a kid says your rude!! It's a shame that this location only has one friendly employee (Elaina)!! The rest of them are nasty and act like they are doing you a favor... If they don't like thier job, they should quit!! Checkers, you need some secret shoppers so you can clearly see how your employees treat your patrons!!
