Wish there was an option to give zero stars. Worst experience ever, not worth the 20 minute wait for a shake and 3 cookies that were utter garbage. The girl still had the audacity to ask for a tip for charging me basically. Shake was super light, no taste of oreo what so ever. The white chocolate layer on the bottom of fruity pebbles, oreo, and birthday cake completely ruined the whole cookie. It was way too much, the cookies would have been great without that chocolate layer. Also if you order the variety pack expect all fruity pebbles and 1-2 other options. Completely disappointed. I'm not a huge milkshake person but omg the oreo milkshake was amazing!! I really wish I had brought more of my appetite to try more sweets and drinks since everything looked great. I will definitely come back here! Staff was super kind and was willing to make a drink any way we wanted. When we asked for straws the guy brough it to us and put it in our milkshake himself which was very kind and hospitable. It does have a smaller space but you can grab and go and eat/drink in your car. Very homey vibes. I was a bit disappointed because I thought they might've had more vegan options but I'm glad they have the ones they do! They could definitely add vegan ice cream by using nondairy based for their liquid nitrogen method. There was 2 cake options and chocolate chip cookies that were vegan, the cake was a berry chocolate and another was peanut butter. I picked the berry one, it didn't really taste that fresh to be honest and I think I might've liked the other one better? The staff was super nice and the interior was pretty sweet. I was excited to try this place... the Acai Blueberry Muffin Bowl was incredible and delicious. I'll definitely be a repeat customer for this reason. I also got a S'mores cookie that was decent and a Fruity Pebble donut that I wished I would've forgone due to its weird texture and lack luster flavor. I got a slice of Cookie Monster Cheesecake to take home to my husband and he said it was pretty good. These 4 things and hot tea was almost $30. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly, professional and informative however sadly it took almost 40 minutes to get my friend and I's Acai bowls. Not sure who came up with the crooked pricing structure, but it needs a major overhaul and immediately The majority of items here are made with Stevia, cookie doughs, donuts are all with stevia, what an utter bummer. Super expensive. The tidbit donut hole I tried wasn't melt in my mouth and the stevia hit me like a brick wall, not good. I bought a coconut lemon cake and a peanut butter chocolate cake for my colleague's bday today. The only items made with sugar are the cookies, cake and brownies. I don't see how this place can subsist and how anyone would come back after such a sticker shock. I can better and cheaper cake at Westborn market. I am beyond appalled and I told the woman behind the counter. As if offering some free bday candles would lessen the blow. My colleague better appreciate these overpriced slices of cake and savor every bite of it. I think their business name is aptly suited and appropriate, but only because I feel the intent is for them to cheat the consumer and revel in the treat of the cheat. Yes my bill for 2 small slices of cake was $14.84, including tax. And no my colleague and I both felt the cakes were no better than at some discount big box store. Let this be a lessen to others. I've been here twice in the last few days and it's been great, IM ADDICTED! They offer regular protein treats, vegan, gluten free, and keto cookies and pie/cake. The cookies I had were awesome and I tried the s'mores pastry. The juice selection was superb and tasted fresh. Well---it's ice cream. Store brand. There was a charge for using milk in our milkshake? Doesn't milk come in a milkshake? Not oat or anything else--just regular milk. We were the only ones in the store & only one person working so be prepared to wait, and wait, and wait. Just a weird vibe as the shakes were made in a kitchen you can't see. There were no desserts stocked. If you glance at the pictures online of all they offer, they look good. But the entire case was empty. Said they just didn't make any. Okay. A reason we came but again, empty. The shakes we had were fine. Cheat Treats provides an awesome customer experience. I wish I could give half stars, because I'd go for 4.5. There were samples provided, the man serving us was kind and helpful with suggestions, and there is a great variety of options available for their donuts, cheesecake, brownies, cake pops, and cookies. The texture is definitely there. Sometimes high protein snacks taste super weird and fake and be wayyy too dense, but these were very close to the real thing. I especially loved the Reese's donut, which was more of a yeast donut than the red velvet. Frosting + Reese's + peanut butter ratios were perfection. The red velvet could have been sweeter, and I wish the cream cheese frosting had a stronger cream cheese flavor. That's what I'm looking for when I order anything red velvet! But the frosting was lacking. Cinnamon roll was recommended to us and it was very good. We were able to sample a cookie and it was okay. Just okay enough that we didn't feel the need to actually order a cookie after trying it, but maybe next time. The cheesecake and cake pops also look incredible, but we will be saving ourselves until the next visit -- and there will be a next visit. Great concept! Our family drives to Dearborn just to get food from Cheat Treats. Have tried many things here and I'll kind of list them in the order of how much I like them. Some of the best cookies I've ever had and that's no exaggeration. The S'mores and a Twix cookies have been the standouts so far. But their chocolate chip cookies and Oreo cookies (Oreos are baked into their cookie) are great too. Their baklava is really unique and awesome. I love baklava and theirs is one of the better ones I've had. The unique think about it is the rose water in the syrup. Or at least that's unique in my experience. That may be common in some places but that was new to me. It threw me off at first but I really ended up liking the rose water. Texture is great Kanafa was completely new to me and I'm sorry if my description is a little off. It's melted cheese topped with phyllo dough (I think) and fried vermicelli, then rose water syrup is drizzled on top. Sounded completely different and unexpected, but it's really good. Highly recommend. They sell cookie dough that you eat (not bake). While it's really quite good, i like their baked cookies better. Definitely worth a try though. Protein cookies have nice flavor but they're a little dry and not nearly on the same level as their regular cookies. If you're just going for dessert, get the regular cookies. If you're watching your weight and/or weightlifting or something, then the protein cookies might make sense. May want to get details on the nutrition facts first to decide. Keto desserts. My wife does the keto diet. She says the keto cheesecake is incredible. She also says the regular cheesecake is super delicious because apparently she's not always sticking to the keto thing. Every time we've been there, a very sweet lady has served us. She's very passionate about their food, very friendly, was helpful without ever pressuring us when we were trying to figure out the menu. Love supporting businesses like this. They have awesome desserts and if you like any of the foods I mentioned, you'll like this place. I'm never disappointed when I return and the people that are it are just angels. They managed to crack the code of getting desserts to taste good and be healthy so kudos to them. Also, The staff are extremely kind and helpful as well! We came here one night during Ramadan and the owners family had a dinner table set up in the front of the store. Everyone was eating and invited us to join them after we left with pastries. It was so generous and sweet. Thank you! We sampled raw cookie dough and a doughnut hole. We lived the variety of desserts that are all high protein and high fiber leaving feeling satisfied. Given it was a low carb, protein donut, that is to be expected. It was a standard sized donut, not particularly large. It is really good if it is utilized as an actual cheat treat while dieting but it was okay as a donut as a whole. It was pretty expensive, I believe over 4 dollars. Not sure it was worth the price. I love cheat treats! I struggle with my protein intake but I LOVE sweets so it was exciting to see this place. Sometimes I stop by GNC and look for protein goodies but pre-packages items are never as good. Once we walked in we were greeted by a friendly young guy who asked it was our first time there. He gave us a "fit bit" which is a donut hole and a sampling of the cookie dough. Everything was pretty decent. I'm not crazy about cheesecake but my husband had the funfetti one and said it was pretty good and didn't taste like it had protein in it. The cookies were not very sweet but still hit the spot.
