One guy quoted the job, the owner came to assess before starting. Brought a bucket truck to get onto the roof, then decided the roof was too pitched to work. They ended up just whacking off branches at the trunk, leaving a big hole in the tree by the roof. This did get the branches off the roof, but not the way I had intended or was led to think could be done. Yes, they did the job. But, I won't be calling them for more work, which needs to be done.
