It had dropped branches over the years but we were hoping it was okay. Mel took a stick and was able to insert the stick inside the base of the tree. He said he thought it was hollow. And as he took the tree down today, he was right! Almost the whole tree and most of the branches were hollow even though there were leaves on the tree. He and his crew are fast, thorough and cleaned up everything!!

Despite all the hard work, they were so personable and kind, the price on a full cart load of wood wasn't bad either, though I am sure you'd get a better value on a bulk delivery. They seem to have no shortage of wood from all the work they do, so if you need firewood, this is a reliable place to get it. Thanks for staying open and helping people get warm.

We walked around the house/yard showing him which trees to bring down, which limbs to cut from trees we did not want cut down. 6 trees and about 6 or 8 limbs. I had left messages with a couple other places and no one returned my calls. He quoted very good price. We filled out and signed the quote. Very personable and professional. Said he could be here Tuesday at 8am. They arrived about 745 and got straight to work. I kind of felt bad because we left a bunch of stuff around a couple of the trees . The moved it no problem. Very safe crew. While they were cutting the limbs, they went ahead and cut some dead limbs they found. When the cutting was done they got out the leaf blower and cleaned up the yard. They even got a ladder and blew all the sawdust and leaves that landed on the roof. Great price, very professional and personable. I highly recommend Evergreen. Even with all I've typed it doesn't do our experience justice.

Angel's Tree Service is top-notch! After contacting them…read morevia email, it was only a couple hours before I received a response. Despite it being on the weekend! They came out a day later to look at my yard and give me a quote. Did some comparison shopping: excellent price! Two days after that, the team was in my yard making everything look great! I thought they weren't coming because it was raining... then all of a sudden I heard branches falling! I thought maybe the rain was coming down so hard it broke a branch! This is North Carolina, after all. But alas... that was not the case! I had them trim back my cherry blossom tree. They did something amazing to the trunk... It was dull and peeling before. It is smooth and shiny now! Not to mention the hideous rogue broken branch coming out of the side of the tree that they smoothed out. I was curious about the shape of the tree. It wasn't symmetrical. Then they said something interesting: they said they basically followed the shape of the way the tree was growing. So it's almost like a bonsai tree! I was going to have one bush pulled out. I didn't realize that the one right next to it was at death's door. It was pretty obvious after they said it. I look at it every day and just didn't notice it. After removing those two, they added three new ones. Then there was a rogue maple tree that was trying to grow up through one of the bushes that was not dying. Somehow they were able to get to the tree that was trying to grow through the bush and remove it. And on top of all that, I mentioned that the branches on my neighbor's tree were so overgrown they were literally touching the ground. They said they would get that too since they were already here. I thought maybe they were going to cut off a couple branches because they hadn't changed the quote at all. They did a lot more than cut a couple rogue branches. He made it look amazing! The photo collage shows before on the left, after on the right!
