Chatramue definitely lived up to the hype for my first visit. Thai Tea was smooth, creamy, and packed with bold tea flavor. You can really taste the potency of the steeped tea in every sip. After seeing many reviews saying it was overly sweet, I played it safe and ordered mine at 70% sweetness. That was in fact the perfect level, but the only problem was I finished it way too fast. I suggest to just get it at 100% sweetness and sip on it slowly. As the ice slowly melts, it should balance out by the end of the drink. It was truly comforting to hold an authentic taste of Thailand my hands. The cup is also reusable and really well made, a little souvenir to keep year round.
7.5/10 Got the green tea Thai tea. Good Thai tea, not too sweet which a lot of places get wrong imo. I drove 45 min specifically for the Thai tea slushie and this location does not have it unfortunately. SO BE WARE so ur not like me, but regardless it was delicious.

Gave a few tries already and still not convinced although Chatramue is authentic Thai, I don't feel it as creamy and as fragrant as the ones at Thai restaurants. $7-$8 for a cup of Thai tea filled with ice. Parking is limited to 2 parking spots at this location. Very inconvenient. With all the tea places aound this area, Sorry, I'm out.
Went here after the Asian garden mall night market! I never knew this existed and it seems to be a big deal especially in the LA area so I wanted to try! The service was friendly and very very quickly. I literally got my drink in less than a minute which was a little sus since I was wondering if they brew the Thai tea fresh but since this place is dedicated to Thai tea I wouldn't be surprised if they brew a lot at once so that's chill. The Thai tea was pretty good! I got 70% sweet. I wish the tea flavor was a little stronger and the boba was a little hard. Overall though it was pretty good and I'd comeback to try the green thai tea
ChaTraMue is a boba shop chain that originated in Thailand and now has multiple locations in the Southern California area. This location is in Westminster near the Asian Garden Mall. There are only a few dedicated parking spots so it might be difficult to find parking here. This place is known for their red Thai iced tea (the classic that you know and love) but they also offer the green version. In fact, the green thai milk tea ($6.55) is my favorite and preferred drink here. I liked the taste of the sweetened condensed milk. Even though I don't usually do 100% sweetness I like the higher amount of sweetness for this drink. This was a place I really liked during my travels to Thailand and I'm glad there's a location closer to me in the country.
I absolutely love the ChaTraMue Thai Green Milk Tea! The tea has a rich, authentic flavor with a wonderful aroma that's perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. It mixes easily and creates a smooth, creamy drink when pressed the tea flavor is more strong. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Thai green milk tea!
This was my first time coming here and I have seen this everywhere on my Instagram page. This place is located right next to Asian garden mall. I got a Thai tea with brown sugar boba. The Thai tea was refreshing, delicious, and great flavor. The boba was soft, chewy, and great texture. I would give this drink a 4.5/5 since this drink was interesting wish the Thai tea can be a little sweet. Their most popular drinks are their Thai tea and the green Thai tea. The service was fast & employee is very nice and friendly. Their parking is very limited, but they have their own small parking sign. They also have wifi. Their store has a great atmosphere, spacious, and clean. I would definitely come back to try their other drinks if I'm near Asian garden mall.

My only issue is that on a Saturday night they were empty and there was only one employee. I feel that it's really unfair for management to only have one employee making drinks and taking orders on a weekend night. Aside from that, the store was clean and the drinks were yummy. There's even a merch area where you can buy tea leaves. Hopefully they get more business.
Came to ChaTra Mue OC on Thanksgiving afternoon as a quick pick me up to help boost our day but also saw this place as another boba joint to try out so why not take a visit since we're close by. Wasn't expecting it to be a cafe specializing in Thai Tea leaves but I did a bit of observing and I want to believe it's the same Thai tea leaves used in the Original Thai Tea glass bottles you can purchase at your local Asian grocery market; the orange-lookin' bottles, but I could be wrong, maybe it's not the same brand. There's a pretty wide variety of drinks from Tea drinks, Coffee and seasonal but onto the drinks we ordered! Thai Espresso I was debating whether to try just the Original Thai Tea drink as I'm a big fan since I was a child with that orange bottled Thai Tea that I mentioned but I wanted to be a bit daring and try out the Thai Espresso. From my own personal feedback, it felt like it was missing something. The blend wasn't quite all there but I can definitely taste more of the espresso rather than the Thai Tea leaves. I wouldn't mind giving it another chance but the next time we visit, I'll probably go with the Original Basic Thai Tea drink. Rose Milk Tea I didn't choose this drink but my girlfriend seemed to enjoy it for not only it's taste but health benefits. As quoted by her, the drink name and flavor holds up to it's taste and would probably order it again unless there's something else that catches her interest. Overall Came at a downtime so it wasn't busy which is a good thing as we had errands to run before Thanksgiving actually started. The only thing I would advise is the parking situation. It seems that they only have 3 or 4 dedicated parking spots for the cafe, the rest were assigned for the neighboring businesses. It's possible that there's more parking in the back or maybe even park at the Garden Mall. Interior is more on the brighter side of the spectrum, lots of white neutral colors. They have a dedicated section to their merchandise from cans of Thai Tea Leaves, Branded Tumblers, apparel and others. Lively tunes, they actually were playing a couple songs that I liked so that's pretty neat lol. Wouldn't mind visiting again if we're in the area. Next time I'll give the Original Thai Tea a shot!

I wish they had the pandan boba available otherwise I would've tried it. I would def come back :)
Got the honey rose tea at 70% sweetness. Still a bit too sweet for my liking, but the strong rose flavor pulls through. Love it! Lots of ice in my drink, but not an issue. Its a warm day and the drink will still taste good a little diluted and even out the sweetness. I like that their cups are reusable with lids. Will be using these at work til I'm ready to let it go.

The hype is real!!! We stopped by while visiting SoCal for the weekend and tried their original Thai tea. I read the yelp reviews and watched the TikTok videos; some of which were mixed. So, I didn't expect too much. However, it was soooo good! One of the best Thai teas I've had. It's creamy, rich, and full of deep tea flavor. The staff were friendly and answered some of my questions about the tea mixes that were available for sale; I ended up purchasing the tea bags. A friend had mentioned that the green thai tea was good too, but we didn't have time to go back and try it; maybe next time! read more
Very limited parking. I tried the Thai Green Milk Tea and it tasted similar to a traditional Thai tea with a subtle floral note. One thing to note: if you order less ice, they don't top off the drink and there's still a decent amount of ice in the cup. Customer service was okay during the visit. There are a few tables inside if you want to enjoy your drink there. Overall, I would go back to try some of their other drinks. read more
This ChaTraMue brand is very famous for their Thai tea leaves. I usually buy at Asian grocery stores so I was excited to see a brick and mortar store. The tea shop employees are nice and greet warmly. I visited twice. The Thai milk tea is such a classic. I also ordered Ceylon milk tea no ice and drank it the next day at home added my own ice. The Ceylon milk tea had great flavor, no bitterness- nice alternative if you like Oolong or Assam milk tea. The Jasmine milk tea has a very light Jasmine fragrance (I prefer stronger) and there is condensed milk in it which unfortunately overpowers the Jasmine. The pandan boba was soft and chewy which was good. Shop is located next to Asian Garden Mall aka Phuoc Loc Tho with parking lot. ChaTraMue only has 3 locations in all of the USA, otherwise mostly in Asia. Clean interior and clean bathroom! read more

cashier & employees were insanely kind, i usually order the jasmine milk tea and it was pretty decent! LOVED the boba, drink was not that sweet which i also like! i just didn't really like how they put a lot of ice :') but overall everything went well!! read more

I went this past Saturday around 2pm and it had a pretty constant flow of customers but my group of 4 was able to get a table! Drinks took about 5 minutes to come out. Table could've been more clean but nice inside overall. I got a vegan Jasmine milk tea with brown sugar boba. The server recommended that drink at 100% sweetness. The Jasmine flavor was good and fairly fragrant but it was nothing standout. The boba came out warm but it didn't stay fresh for too long and it was a little too sweet for me. They do put a fair amount of ice, which some people don't like but it was okay with me. Price is pretty standard for a boba drink nowadays. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here again but also wouldn't be opposed if a friend wanted to try, and I'd try something different! read more
Okay my favorites flavored boba is officially Pandan Boba now. Not only I grew up and familiar with Pandan flavor and fragrance, I was surprised I would find Pandan Boba here! I had it with Thai tea latte with 70% sweetness. I think it's the perfect amount of sweet, and I won't have it differently when I come back, Andi can't wait to come back! The staff are nice and they made my drink pretty fast too. The store was empty when we came but has cute decorations. This is located next to Asian Garden Mall where there's always crowd like everyday. If I'm being nipicky, I hope they will make the Pandan flavor a bit stronger hehe. read more

Located in a super small business strip. Adjacent small building next ti the Asian Garden Mall. There's limited parking within that small shared parking lot. I thought I'd give it a try. Was excited to go with my family because I hyped up their Thai teas. Unfortunately, the actual tea taste fell a little short of what I've had before from their DTLA location. At 70% sweetness, I found the drinks still too sweet and less Thai tea forward. Our 4 drinks were ready at the same time within 10 minutes of ordering, which was very fast. This location has a good seating area, despite looking like a small location from the outside. Their pandan boba was unique and mild, complementing the green Thai teas well. I appreciate the authentic nature of this tea spot, but I do think their other location is better. read more
New spot as of early/mid 2025 in the Westminster area of OC. It's located right next door to the Vietnamese Asian Garden Mall (or next lot over) and they specialize in Thai Tea among other beverages. The drinks are customizable in terms of additions and levels of sugar, etc. The people were very enthusiastic and friendly when I came in. there was a short line and the place was lively. It did look like it was their grand opening weekend after all. I just got a regular Original Thai Ice Tea because I figured that should be the thing to get on my first visit here. As expected, the beverage made for quite the tasty treat and I really enjoyed it. Definitely a great spot for caffeinated or dessert/treat beverages and it's on my list for sure for places to stop by when I'm in the area. In terms of parking, I think there should be a good amount of parking. I actually accidentally ended up in the mall parking lot because I'm not used to coming to that area, it is a pretty busy street, and I ended up turning into the lot too early. read more

So, I've been searching high and low for the perfect boba place since I moved to HB. I saw this spot on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Parking's a bit of a nightmare, but honestly, the shop itself is adorable! I was craving Thai tea, so I ordered that with boba. The tea itself was amazing - seriously delicious! The boba, however, was a little firmer than I usually like. I'm used to that super squishy boba, and this one was a bit chewier. I'm not sure if that means it wasn't super fresh, or if that's just how they make it. I only went once, so it's too early to say if it'll become my new favorite boba spot. I definitely plan on going back and trying a few other things on their menu before I make up my mind. Will keep you all posted! read more

The place was packed because of the night market but the staff were so quick with making drinks and taking orders! I got the jasmine since it was late but it was so good! I wish that there was less ice because the flavor of the jasmine milk tea was so yummy. Definitely was worth trying! The decor inside was cute and the vibes were nice. read more
ChaTraMue is a Thai Tea brand from Thailand that's recently broken into Southern California. This location in Westminster came onto my radar when I saw people on social media buying gallon buckets of Thai Tea for $15. I came here to try this Thai brand at this Westminster location; however, they've also opened locations in the SGV and LA! I got their original thai iced tea, which costed $8, and I thought it was A-OK (3 stars per yelp). There is definitely a good amount of tea in the drink; however, the creamer was the predominant flavor in my drink. I got it as regular sweetness and there was no option to customize the amount of ice. As I mentioned earlier, I know that there was a good amount of tea in the drink because I could feel the tea drawing in the moisture from my palate (which happens naturally with strong tea); however, the flavors of the tea were not particularly strong. I may come back at a later time to play with sweetness ratios or to try other drinks, but I have to rate this as "OK" at this time. read more
In Thailand and people who have visited Thailand, this is the famous Thai tea that everyone adores. That's why it's called the original. For me I like it because the quality of the tea leaves is front and center. The tea taste is very silky, milky and smooth. It has depth and a richness so no matter how you mix it, combine it or play with the flavors you're going to get the same quality taste. This place was on my bookmarks for awhile because they have so many Thai tea drink options, I almost wanted the whole menu. I got Green thai tea, Lemon thai tea, and Brown sugar milk tea. I was going to an event and wasn't going to be able to drink all of it so I requested no ice. That was a big mistake and I hate when places do this, they didn't fill up my cup just cuz I didn't want ice. So it literally was only half my cuz. Ugh, so annoying. But the quality was good and they had so much merchandise, you can make your own tea- they sell it in containers, they had drink bottles and shirts, and they had plenty of places to sit. The other bad thing was parking was bad, couldn't find a spot and I had to wait and I was already running late for my event. read more
I've heard so many great things about this place. Chatramue definitely lived up to the hype. There are so many different options for Thai tea. I ordered the vegan Thai tea less sweet (70% sweet). I usually get a stomachache and overwhelmed by the sweetness of Thai tea, but this Thai tea order was made for me. I could really taste the tea flavor. Service and ambiance were great, too. It is cute and clean inside. My only issue with this location is the parking situation. I forgot the number of times I came so close to backing up and hit those metal poles in parking lot. The lot is so narrow and small. Also, there are maybe only two designated parking spots for the tea shop. So, I just try to go there right around when they open to avoid the fight for parking. read more

The drinks were really good! Got two Thai Green Milk Tea's. One with less sugar, one with regular sugar. I recommend the less sugar option as it does get pretty sweet. 10/10!! Service was good and friendly, answered any questions I had. Drinks came out within 10 minutes! read more
Bucket of Thai Tea This is the dream for any OC Yelper and CTM in Westminster has made it a reality. You are not dreaming! It's True! Cha Tra Mue has hit its first OC location right next to the ASIAN GARDEN MALL in Little Saigon!!! Us Thai Tea Lovers no longer need to go to LA or the SGV to get our authentic Thai Tea fix. I am so in LOVE knowing that I can get a BUCKET of Thai Tea! This is CRAZY but in a fantastic way! For $15, I am one happy Yelper. I had fun showing off my Thai Tea bucket with my kids, strangers, a few friends and my mom thought I was CRAZY. I don't care because normally when I get a large Thai Tea, my hubby & kids want sip of my Thai Tea and then it's GONE. But the bucket, kept on giving and I was still able to take many sips while still sharing . Trust me, get the bucket. I was super excited that OC was getting a legit Thai tea shop, and that isn't to say anywhere else serving the drink isn't authentic since they tend to all come from Southeast Asian diaspora immigrants, but I've heard good things about this chain. They still seem to somewhat be in a soft opening phase, so I'm absolutely giving them some grace, but it's basically a no-nonsense takeout joint where you order, get your drink, and go. The first time I came here, the Thai tea was fantastic and among the best I've had. I've always liked that rich milky, half-and-half type of taste, but this had a certain other creaminess that tasted like the best of restaurant Thai tea I've had. They ran out of pandan boba when I got there, but the regular boba was just fine. On a revisit, I had the green Thai tea with pandan boba, and honestly I was pretty disappointed. It tasted pretty watery and the pandan boba was somewhat flavorless. I think it's possible they can be pretty inconsistent so I do want to give this another chance. Parking isn't great even with the mall nearby, or maybe especially so, but if you come by this area often, you know what you need to do to get a parking spot. TIP: Get the classic Thai tea for sure. read more
Right next to the Asian Garden Mall in Westminster, ChaTraMue offers a variety of Thai Tea drinks. We originally came here thinking there was an ice cream option, similar to Wushiland, which they did not have, but we settled for their Signature Thai Tea, Green Thai Tea, and Brown Sugar Boba. Having some Thai heritage, you know I had to try this place. The Thai Tea was pretty standard, both the Regular and Green Thai Tea have a strong Thai tea taste just how I like it, but I found it very comparable to 7 Leaves' Thai teas. The brown sugar boba was just ok for us. Boba had decent texture, but we have a pretty high bar coming from Tiger Sugar. Seating and parking was pretty limited and there wasn't a direct path from the Phuoc Loc Tho, so a bit inconvenient from an accessible point of view. We'll likely need to try the Rose drink next time just to test out it being natural laxative haha. Coming from Irvine, it's quite the trek, not sure if it's worth the trip read more
The thai tea had a smooth and milky taste which is my preference :))) I mean they are the original, am I right!! We were greeted by the workers and the cashiers were very nice. The location is a good size if you're looking to grab a drink after food. The drinks have lots of ice however they do have a cute sign that explains why. Parking here sucks tho since there is very limited spots. Thai Tea: 9/10 Milky and perfectly sweet. Strong tea! (That was our initial taste) make sure you drink it fast tho because the heavy ice will have you feeling like youre drinking water instead after a while. They had a small bucket drink size which we were originally going to get but it was $15 for one, so we opted out for the regular size ($6-7). My sister and I tried this spot on a Saturday morning. We've been hearing about it and happy they opened one in OC. The parking lot is kinda difficult as it's small. But we had lunch in the plaza nearby so we walked over. We got the black thai tea and green Thai tea. Both were good but sadly it did taste a bit diluted (tea flavors weren't as strong as I expected). Service was good. There were a few tables and chairs inside and WiFi as well. read more
Drink: Thai Tea and Thai Green Milk Tea Price: $6.55 (boba +0.75) Overall: I saw this place popping up around my feed and decided to try it out! There is limited parking and it is next to the Asian Garden Mall. They sell their Thai tea mix and merch here as well. The service was quick and the cups are very cute! The boba was chewy and good; the quality of the tea is top notch! I think next time I would get it at a lower sweetness, overall a very solid Thai tea spot! read more
