Good drinks ! Friendly people. It's been a nice thing the mall has a boba tea place. They tea was good and fresh. The menu was too much things to ready hopefully they can change the menu more simple.

I usually don't go out to Ross Park Mall that often, but there was a promotion for Yelp Elite and so I went on a Wednesday around 11am for a mid-week pick-me-up. I have read reviews in the past about this location not having bubbles available when customers were ordering but I figured if they open at 10am, there's no way they're out by 11am right? Probably, but the issue isn't that they ran out, it's that they simply were unprepared and didn't have any bubbles made. How does a bubble tea shop not have bubbles ready when they open for the morning? I was told by the worker she was unable to make my drink because the bubbles would take another 45-60 minutes and so I requested to substitute the bubbles in my lychee yogurt QQ for jelly. The drink itself was good, and I appreciate being able to customize ice and sugar levels. The drink was well made, but I'm just upset that they did not have bubbles and it seems like this is a common occurrence for this location

Kind workers, amazing drinks. I love to watch them make it in front of me. Cute little place. WAYYYYY better than Starbucks. I'd go here anytime. Starbucks doesn't exist to me when Chattime does.

I'm so happy for my friend now that this place finally opened up at the mall and it's near where she lives! The only other place to get decent boba around here was somewhere in the city supposedly, but now she does not have to drive half an hour to get a drink! Yay! Anyway, I finally got to try their drinks and I loved it. Coming from SoCal, I had pretty high expectations for a drink here so I wanted to see how their milk tea would taste. I ordered a Milk Tea QQ (meaning the drink already has boba and coconut jelly in it) half sweet with no ice and it was perfect. Definitely the right amount of sweetness, any sweeter I might get diabetes lol. I'm more of a milk tea person, but they have something for everybody. Coffee, juice, slushees, oriental pop tea, and even mousse. If I ever visit again, I'll be sure to come back to get something else. Thanks for the memories Pittsburgh. TL;DR Finally an amazing boba shop on the second floor of the mall! Make sure to get the drinks half sweet with no ice so it doesn't dilute the flavor. (Also it's near a Pokémon gym in Pokémon Go if you still play that.)

We came here as a Yelp Elite perk and really enjoyed our beloved boba teas. We also appreciated that they gave out free samples near the front entrance - it was tropical flavored tea of some sort - YUM. I ordered the half sugar honeydew milk tea with apple popping and my partner ordered the taro pudding milk tea with less ice, less sugar, coffee jelly and red bean. We had quite different drinks but really enjoyed them both. The Taro and Honeydew milk tea are especially good flavors to get although I do suggest getting half the sugar ... or less ... since these drinks can be overly sweet if you do not ask for some kind of reduction in the sugar. I also suggest ordering less ice since that will mean you get more milk tea without having it watered down. What I didn't originally realize was how much I would enjoy the coffee jelly and red bean. I highly suggest trying either one and plan to ask for those options next time since I enjoyed them more than any of the popping flavores which I only tried since they ran of the tapioca Pearl's. The poppings are kind of neat though since they literally pop in your mouth. Out of the strawberry, sour apple and mango flavor I definitely prefered the apple because it was more sour rather than sweet and I love sour flavors. While I would probably prefer the tapioca Pearl's over the poppings I actually like the coffee jelly and red bean jelly even more than both the poppings and the pearls. What I found most remarkable about this place was the amount of choices there are. The menu was very impressive to me because I never knew how many options of boba tea there was previously!

Love the bubble tea. Have lots of selection. I like my red bean bubble tea and my daughter enjoyed her strawberry flavored tea.

Chatime is in the Ross Park Mall next to the Moonshine fudge on the second floor. There was a rush at Chatime at 4:30pm and they ran out of bubbles :( We got Iced Thai Tea with coconut jelly, iced matcha latte with rainbow jelly, and iced taro milk tea with custard. We all got less ice and 50% sweetness, but I would recommend getting 100% sweetness for the match because it is a more bitter flavor. Also, the taro milk tea was really grainy :( I'm hoping that it turned out this way because it was so busy.

This is my favorite beverage store!I'm so glad that finally there is a bubble tea store in Pittsburgh. They not only offer bubble tea but also fruit tea and pure tea! Try their Hawaii Fruit Tea!It's awesome!

Stopped in here for a snack while at the mall. I got the taro milk tea with red bean purple rice. The taro milk tea was great! I really liked the flavor and I didn't think it was too sweet. I also asked for less ice because I don't enjoy when there is too much ice in my drink. The red bean with purple rice was pretty good. It did clump together at the end when I was drinking it so it was difficult to drink it with the straw. Overall solid boba place for Pittsburgh. Would definitely come back while in the mall.

THE BEST! All the milk teas are AMAZING, finally something authentic came to Pittsburgh. They have a QQ type of drink which have Coconut jelly and Bubbles as toppings and I think the Taiwan Mango QQ is the most popular. It is a mango flavored juice, and it's super tasteful! Must TRY if you are around Ross Park Mall!!!!!! Oh they're located on the second floor, just a little further than Nordstrom (next to a chocolate store and opposite of Hollister).

When is the best time to get bubble tea with bubbles? I've been 3 times and 2 of the 3 they were out of bubbles :(

Never. I've been there 6 times since they opened. I've gotten tapioca pearls ONCE. I asked today and was told to CALL AHEAD and check on the status of bubbles because they literally never know when they will or won't have them and it takes 30… Read more

Crispy Ramen Corn Dog - 3 stars - I ordered a corn dog with half sausage and half mozzarella and a side of spicy mayo. This restaurant is located right on McKnight Road somewhat near the intersection with Siebert. The inside is fairly large with seating in an L-shaped configuration around the kitchen. We were seated near the back on one side where the lighting was styled like lanterns and there was also a fun mural on the wall in an almost manga style. For dinner on this evening I decided to go with the Golden Katsu Curry Ramen while my wife went with the tonkotsu ramen and my kids split a happy cat noodles. My ramen was described as served with house-made curry broth simmered with tender potato and carrot chunks, wavy noodles and topped with a crispy cutlet, half marinated egg, sweet corn and scallions. My wife's was described as pork broth with thin noodles, pork belly chashu, nori, bamboo shoots, fish cake, kikurage mushroom, half marinated egg, sweet corn and scallions. My kids' meal was described as chicken nuggets, soy sauce-based plain noodles, assorted vegetables, half marinated egg and one piece of mochi ice cream. They first brought out the wrong item for my kids but once we mentioned it they quickly corrected it and brought out the right dish. My curry ended up being really good. The chicken cutlet was crispy, the noodles were bouncy and I enjoyed the sweetness from the corn. The star of the show for me though was the Japanese curry which had a rich flavor with warm and inviting spices. My wife loved her ramen as well and we were all impressed with the quality of the kids' meal, especially the chicken and the flavor of the noodles. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Everyone in my family enjoyed their food and we appreciated that it felt both fun and family friendly.

Food - I ordered the vegetable ramen (rice noodles) and the broth is out of this world. It has a really nice garlic flavor, very delicious that made me want more and I never had a garlic based broth before. The tofu was fresh and everything else tasted lovely. The other ramen was the tan tan. I didn't really care for the broth compared to mine but it wasn't my dish originally. We also ordered the takoyaki, two of them because it was so good! We had a side of seaweed salad which was fresh and good as well. Besides the service being kinda slow when it was almost empty, it was a lovely visit. The place also felt clean and the restroom as well.
