It can even be hired for birthday parties. It is quite reasonably priced at about £5 per session plus £2 for skate hire. For your teenagers they have regular disco skate nights and this seems to be a favourite with my sons school friends.

It's got everything you would expect of a soft play area - huge slides, a rope swing, climbing wall, ball pit all on different levels. The equipment, seating areas and snack bar are exceedingly clean and well maintained. They have a lot of seating for parents - I particularly like the comfy sofas! - and a snack bar selling chocolate bars, drinks, etc but they also do really nice lunches at reasonable prices - home-made soups, pies, and a selection of sandwiches and salads. This is an equally great venue for a few hours to let the kids run around like crazy things or a birthday party.

The under 4s area is the best I have seen - again providing challenge along with fun activities e.g. ball pool, little tikes cars, baby walkers. Monkey Bizzness is well designed so that parents can sit at tables and watch their children. Although the table area is crowded it means there is always somewhere to sit, even at busy times. There is an extensive menu offered which had healthy and tasty food for adults and children as well as the usual fishfingers and chips etc. It is also very reasonably priced. At peak times sessions are limited to 2 hours but this tends to be on rainy bank holidays rather than a general rule.

Your group is mixed with others, but you're free to complete the course at your own pace and there isn't a constant queue of people but it will still take around 4-5 hours to complete the course. A combination of walking on think planks, tree hoop rings, swining into nets and ziplining through the trees and open fields, this is a great experience even if you're a little weary of heights like myself or don't normally do a lot of intense physical activity. For the harder parts of the course, they often have a secondary route, but some areas the only way to go is forward so you'll eventually face your fears and come out more confident for it. One of the nice things is that you're supervised directly for the 1st part of the course, of which there are 5 sections, but after that you'll kind of left to your own devices. There are staff around, but they're not actively observing at that point. And if people are mucking about they'll hopefully have been thrown out by that point. In all and excellent day out that will give you a thirst for adventure within a safe, controlled environment. For younger kids, there is a kid friendly course worth considering.
