Came in looking for an item I used to get at Whole Foods which I have been unable to locate in…read moreMidland... unfortunately, I did not find it here either. The store carries products from the same brand so *maybe, just maybe* I can get them to order this particular product for me??? Other than that disappointment, I was impressed with the rest of their selection. I have been wanting to find some nondairy cheeses (dang lactose intolerance) and discovered a pretty good variety here! The main downside of Natural Grocers (and pretty much ANY "health food store" is the PRICE. Gosh! How is it so expensive to eat REAL, HEALTHY, NATURAL FOODS?!?! Luckily, they have sales! The sale prices make it more manageable to shop here. For instance, the nondairy cheese I mentioned earlier is usually $4.49/8oz package, I missed a sale on it for $2.99/8oz package. (Their website listed a sale that ran through Sept. 1st) having never actually tried non dairy cheese, I was nervous to spend that much on something that *might* be gross... so I kind of would want to wait for another sale. I did buy some non dairy sour cream for $3.19... and it was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! Didn't taste anything like sour cream. Wonder why they could actually call it sour cream??? Blah! Anywho- the staff were all friendly, especially the cashier. We'll be back!

"Butt," they giggle. Lest you forget, "the initials also playfully represent the store's slogan, 'Here Everything's Better'." Cute, huh? This store was mostly clean and organized. We found some good deals on meats. I mean for the times. And I love the H-E-B line. They omit lots of junk and artificial crap plus they are cheaper than the name brands. This mom is a fan! The seafood guy was funny. The cashier was nice but distracted with her phone. The most maddening scene was the parking lot on January 4, 2026.

The staff I interacted with was incredibly friendly, from the baker in the bakery department, to the florist who created a beautiful centerpiece for my aunt's 100th birthday. The store was spotlessly clean. The produce department is enormous, and they also carry a great selection of organic fruit. The bakery department has premade cakes and also takes special orders. They have a great selection of meats, including large packs for those with larger families or if you're hosting a large gathering. There's plenty of parking and handicap spaces near the entrance.

WELL I was pleasantly surprised that this wasn't the case this tear! TONS of vendors selling everything you can imagine! They even have a special row for kid vendors selling their arts, crafts and baked goods. Get there EARLY next month if you don't want to park a mile away LOL . So lucky to be able to support local craft's people!!!

Over 70 Vendors servicing the Midland-Odessa area with a nice mix of goods for sale. Farms selling traditional produce sold next to home gardeners with more unique items like Armenian Cucumbers, red garlic and shelled walnuts. A lot of mom and pop-type baked goods, pickles and preserves, too. A flower shop where you could make your own bouquets paid by the stem. And plenty of drink options like Serendipitea Boba and Far West Coffee with their Apple-Blueberry Topo Chico-topped Nitro Cold Brew - mouthful right? Phew! On this particular day, they had live music and an area for drop-in (free!) yoga next to the plaza's beautiful fountain. It was very scenic, a nice calm away from the desert and oil ponies this area is more known for. And dogs are allowed, so everyone in the family can join! Unfortunately, the same issues that plague the rest of this area, hit this market too. Things like... Long queues. Worker shortage so you wait 30mins for a drink order. Crowds. And so expensive! $7 Cold Brew and $10 for ONE peony stem are the type of things I expect from a big city. And here, the quality didn't match the pricing. Everything we ate was mediocre. The fancy flowers weren't even home-grown, they came out of plastic and into bins just like HEB's flowers. In fact, I saw more than one vendor repackage bulk goods so it cheapened the experience a bit. Overall, an interesting experience. Clearly there's a market to do these more often so they really should. It might lessen the crowds, allow for lower pricing and over time, maybe allow for better quality goods. And add some tables and chairs so I don't have to take a Louis Vuitton to the face while I'm trying to eat my food.
