the hotel had great views, very nice staff! the hotel said it was newly renovate! this was a lie. this hotel has already been remodeled according to all different sites! IT WAS THE MOST DISGUSTING PLACE! if you call this remodeled its was such poorly done!!! There were holes between the tiles in the bath shower. the floor tiles of the shower were not cleaned properly when installed. there was white construction stuff everywhere on the top of the bathroom counter and the mirror. there were holes between the walls and the trim. the towels were not white!!! horrible experience. the battery of the fire alarm was not workin- all night ringing!!!! read more

Me and my wife has been here 8 times this year and December 4th we tried to get a room yes slow time clerk said $97.00 and told him we are regulars usually get for $67.00 he said the manager that gave us that price was fired. So owner would rather loose business to other hotels then give us that price. Happy to stay next door $62.00 read more

If you're looking for value on the beach, this is the joint. This place isn't pretentious or dumpy. You will see some interesting characters staying here mixed with some regular folks. If you want to be away from everyone, get an oceanfront, which is away from all the action. My room was ocean-view. I intended oceanfront but messed it up. Then again, it worked out well because I loved my room. A very laidback atmosphere and staff. This could be viewed as good or bad. I liked it. Fit the beach. Recommended. read more

DO NOT COME HERE If you would like to be clean, you will not get that with the mold all over the shower Not just the bathroom but the ceiling and walls as well The smell of smoke and pot flooded the air There was finger print and stains all throughout the room If there wasn't mold on something, it was instead rusted The mildew smell flooded the room when we walked in Do not let the fake reviews fool you this place is shit. read more

Not the nicest hotel on the strip, but it's a place to get ready and sleep. Our bathroom window did not close all the way and since it was during bike week you could really hear the road noise, luckily the bathroom door could be closed. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. We used the elevator once but it took forever to get down to the 1st floor so we used the stairs the rest of our stay. The pool was open overnight and they have cameras that cover every inch of the property which can be a good thing I suppose. We were told our rooms would be next to each other, but that request was not honored. The staff that was present during check-in was great. They couldn't do anything about the room request, but it is what it is. read more

Went to visit some relatives and decided to grab a hotel on the ocean for the weekend. Well, your ocean view is quite limited from the way the hotel was built. We didn't check in until late and the receptionist called to let us know the lobby will close and our room key will be placed on a lock box on our door. This worked out well. I wasn't impressed with the floor not having carpet, i kind of understand this with it being on the ocean, but not my taste. I was VERY disappointed in the cleanliness of the bathroom. MOLD. I will just let the pictures I posted speak for themselves. read more

Employees are very friendly, remodeling at the second. Especially after the hurricane there was damage obviously to all buildings surrounding but currently as of today they're putting on a new roof and just getting things back up in tiptop shape slowly, but surely. Definitely needs a little bit better of cleaning , I literally went to the dollar tree and bought my own cleaning chemicals to make sure this place was clean and smelt better. So whoever comes in after me will at least have a better looking room than I. But for only $70 a night you get what you pay for. read more

Found several roaches. Water pressure in bathroom sucked. Water temp would not go hot. Bathroom door misaligned and did not want to close. Main bed was broken in middle we had to try and fix it. Upon check in the woman was not smiley or anything, felt like she didn't want to be there. Rules state no pets, but I saw a dog in a room. Felt like people were living here. Dirty floors, etc. employees must be leaving these reviews. read more

Great location right on the beach. Literally walk out of your room onto the beach. Pictures of rooms seem to be nicer then what we got. Inside was a little run down and the tiki bar was out of commission. Continental breakfast consisted of yogurt, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches with juice or coffee. Pool was ok. Stay if your looking for a great location, if your looking for luxury I would look somewhere else. read more

This was such a mediocre hotel. The outside looks ok...but the pool was full of sand, the rude girl behind the desk acted all indignant when we asked for towels...as there were only two in the room when we arrived. She gave us bath mats and when I said I needed a towel she got completely irritated. The room was large but the floor was dirty. I know it's the Beach but at least upon check in I would like a clean floor. Parking is tight when you and many other guests have a truck but hey...we are on the beach. Too many other hotels to try before coming back to this place. It wasn't the worst but the stay wasn't that memorable. read more

I appreciate that this hotel is under construction. We were told all the rooms were handicapped. Not in a wild imagination. Couldn't take a shower the whole stay - unsafe. This was one of the worst hotels that we have ever visited due to the condition of the rooms (broken/cut up blinds, broken door safety chain, peeling paints, dirty floors, broken fixture with missing light bulb, dim hallways) and horrible customer service. Since we are from out of state, we were unaware about "Motorcycle (Bike) Week." We had paid for a 2 room suite and they put us next to the street where huge numbers of motorcycles were going up and down. The noise was so loud that sleep and conversation were impossible. We asked to be moved and we were offered a 1 bedoom accommodation which did not work for us. Since the hotel (with about 50 rooms) was almost empty, we thought that it was a reasonable request for 2 single rooms. The poorly lit parking lot had 2 other cars at 10:00 PM. Our request was denied and Goldy (night staff) told us that the noise would be better at 1 AM. We finally got to sleep around 2 AM and the fire alarm went off at 3:20 AM. It rang for over 15 minutes and the manager had trouble turning it off. The fire department did not respond. We finally got to sleep around 4 AM and the motorcycle noise woke up up early in the morning. We went to see the day manager (Kevin) and wanted to know why he would not take action to ensure our customer satisfaction. He replied that he "couldn't give away free rooms." When we stated that it was poor business practice to allow customers to be miserable when a simple remedy could be taken, his response that it was "Bad for Business" and "Do what you gotta do" about our complaint. We recommend that you do not book this hotel. The poor maintenance and condition of the hotel along with the lack of customer service when there is a problem, should be a warning. The empty parking lot should have been a omen for us when we arrived. read more

This the worst hotel (should be a low level motel) that I've ever stayed in! There was mold all over the bathroom, broken lock at the door, plaster falling off the walls, the handicap ramp was a death trap! Just awful! Paid for two nights but because it was so bad had to leave and booked another hotel! DO NOT recommend! This place needs a complete rehab! read more

Ocean view is misleading. Very few rooms per floor face ocean. Security is non existent. No employee available after 8 pm. The stairs and elevator are accessible to anyone on the street. It was out of order one day of visit. Construction on every floor. Sometimes up until 2 am. No microwave or coffee maker in room. read more

Absolutely the most scariest and unsafe hotel on the east coast of Florida. The rooms are antiquated, think 1960's Howard Johnson's without major renovation. They slapped some paint here and there and called it good. Unable to open outward opening door due to rust and unable to fully secure the locks. Elevator had a 9 month expired certificate and was the only egress from upper floors as stairs were shut down. Checked in and back out within 15 minutes... never so scared in my life! read more

If you are looking at photos and reviews, you are going to be very disappointed when checking in. The rooms are absolutely filthy. Our AC unit was caked in dust with specks of black mold on the edges, the filters were so disgusting we removed them entirely hoping the air from the beach would be healthier overnight. The trash cans are rusted, the bathroom cabinets are water logged and busting at the seams, the locks on the door are not operational, the mirrors are losing their finish and warping at the edges, the side tables are chipped, the linens had hairs on them (not our own). From the moment you step into the elevators, you get the understanding the ownership gave up years ago. From the chipped paint to the filthy air vents... this isn't close to a 4-star property. This is 2-stars on its very best day, and that's being generous. If you want to sleep in disgusting rooms and have beach access... this is the perfect property for you. Otherwise, don't give your money to owners that don't care about the comfort and well being of their guests. This hotel is absolutely pitiful. read more

Was here last weekend Feb. 25-27th, hosting a 50th and 65th Bday for friends and this was one of the most horrible experiences, that I have ever had. The Hotel neglected to inform me, that they had booked a "Carnival Bubble" Event and it was a Disaster. The Music was way to loud in the Resort Lobby and you actually had to yell to give the Front Desk Worker your check-in information. The Event Music was extremely loud well past 3 a.m. every night. Some of the ladies at the Event was fighting on the Eighth Floor. The attendees were between the ages of early twenties and early to mid thirties. The attendees jirated around the hotel and lobby area in their swim suits and no cover ups, not to mention was sitting on the lobby furniture in their swimsuit or little to no swimsuits. I spoke with the Event Planner to express my frustration and she fully understood me and my guests concerns. I spoke to the Hotel manager and Julieta and she lack leadership skills. The staff seem to be clueless and there is a major disconnect with them as well. I requested towels 3 times and finally received them after requesting them from a nice guy on the reservation line. He was kind enough to put me on hold and contact the Resort. This whole situation this weekend was Utterly Ridiculous and could have been avoided, if Only I was informed about the "Carnival Bubble" Event. This would have given me ample time to book my stay and Guests stay at another Hotel/Resort. Lastly, I did a Room Block for 15 rooms and one of my out of town guest rooms was not available until after 9 p.m. Shame on You All....... read more

I wish I could give this place more stars. The customer service was OUTSTANDING! Steve & Debbie were a huge help to me. I flew into town for a speaking engagement from California. They made me feel at home, helped me with restaurant suggestions and my room was perfect. This hotel had a great view of the ocean. Steve & Debbie answered any questions I had and provided quick service. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Steve and Debbie's friendly customer service was a breath of fresh air. I look forward to returning to this place again, hopefully to see all the cool updates they are planning to incorporate with the remodel. Thanks a million! read more

If you've ever been to Ormond Beach, you know that there are a million different hotels to choose from. The reviews are all over the place on all of them so we figured it was a crapshoot and went with one of the cheaper places since we only needed a bed for the night. We drove forever and ended up checking in way after business hours. we were very impressed with the communication from the hotel. First they called us and confirmed that we would be checking in after they closed the office to give us instructions. Then they followed it up with an email. We knew exactly what we needed to do and how we needed to do it so upon our arrival we have no issues getting into the room. When we open the door we were quite surprised that the decor was so modern. We were even more excited that the bed was so comfortable. It was the first great night of sleep that both of us have had in a really long time. She would absolutely stay here again. read more

Pictures online of the rooms are definitely fancier than in person, but they do a VERY good job of cleanliness AND the staff is super friendly. No microwave in our room, but we were ok with that. Ocean view was amazing, just wish it wasn't a shared balcony, but they were almost all booked before we decided to get a room. Bathroom is tiny, and ours didn't have a fan, but there is a window. Beds were comfortable, on demand with the TV--which ended up being a plus for us because it RAINED THE WHOLE TIME. Close to restaurants and entertainment. We had some issues on time, and management was kind enough to let us stay till 1pm instead of 11 for check out time. Not sure if this is an everyday thing, but we truly appreciated the kindness. read more

Older hotel on the outside , but nicely remodeled inside! Rooms are very clean, and a pretty decent size . The bathroom is small but you don't need a huge bathroom at the beach. Where can I begin? Check in was seamless, location was perfect. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Xavier at the front desk was so very kind and wonderful!! This was a very pleasant surprise. I have stayed in a couple of hotels in Daytona and they have been nothing but a dissapointment. This was so great and cheaper than most other places. They have a theme that makes the hotel look inviting. The check in process was very easy and the staff is very friendly. They also have a coffee/hot chocolate machine in the office which is perfect during cold days. And they offer a few pastry items for breakfast. The rooms are very nicely decorated and everything looks pretty new. I believe this was renovated last year, if Im not mistaken. I would definitely come back to this hotel if I come back to Daytona. read more

Horrible costumer service, horrible people, rude not friendly in any sense do not stay here!!!!!! I would give A ZERO STAR RATING.

After a full stay I am at about 2 1/2 stars. The room was acceptably clean. It is obviously an older hotel that has been poorly refurbished to look like new. Do not let the pictures fool you. This is not a divided suite. It is a 2 bed single room with one bath room. The room safe was secured to the wall using screws with no anchors drilled into drywall. When we got there it was ripped out of those poor anchors and wasn't fastened to anything. No sense in putting valuables into a safe that can be carried away. The toilet paper holder was the same, and was falling off the wall. The towel rack was also fastened similarly and falling off the wall. Whoever did these jobs knew nothing about even the most basic construction. Very little space to store clothing and other belongings. They had a bench and a shelf with a placard on the wall that read "We all have baggage. You can put yours here." There was plaster patchwork in the room that was not painted. Total ghetto. The sliding door to the patio was very difficult to open. There was very limited space on the patio. The door had a lock system that looked just strong enough that my 12 year old couldn't kick it in. I didn't test the security latch strength as I have little doubt it would pop right off. Breakfast was a joke. The pool was very clean and enjoyable. Parking was available and convenient. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. If you are there for the beach and not very concerned about the room, this is your hotel. If you are equally concerned about living conditions quality, you may want to look elsewhere. read more
