    I usually don't write reviews but this review is a most. I'm currently staying at this hotel during bike week for work. Although this wasn't my first choice of hotels, it was responsibly priced. Once I arrived I was immediately concerned about my safety Due to the abundance of bikers and being a single female traveler. Stressed from work, I took an anxiety med at work and once I arrived back to my room I had a glass of wine. Big mistake. The mixture of wine and the meds I took earlier didn't mix will. I found myself poolside Incapacitated and unable to move. Immediately security came to see if I was ok. I told them I was fine ( but I wasn't ). Security left because I told them I was ok. Security new I was in an compromised sate and came back and made sure I got to my room safely. I thank these ladies so much. Anything could have occurred! Thank you for making sure I was safe. Don't over look this hotel. You will be safe, the security is A1. Thanks again!

    The hotel has the potential to be great but there are major renovations that need to be done. The hotel staff were nice and pleasant. Check in and check out were smooth. The smell of moisture is the first thing that hits you when you walk in. It has a strong mildew smell. The carpet along the stairs and hallway were extremely stained. This unfortunately was the same when I got to my room. I turned the AC off and that made true mildew smell more bearable but it was still present after my 3 days. The room did look like it's pictures but I see why the carpet is barely visible in any of them. When turning on the lights, the lamp shades are stained along the inside. There are also rust stains on the sprinklers and light fixture in the bathroom. The bathroom was clean, along with the bed. I kept my slides on while walking around the carpet. I did not sit in the chair either as it was dirty as well. I am giving them a 2 due to the staff and me being able to make the smell bearable. However, there was Extended Stay across the way that I wish I kept scrolling to find. Same rates but the extended stay was just built. I should have taken the reviews at their word because they were unfortunately true. If this is your last resort because you need to stop for the night, then go ahead. But if you are planning a vacation and looking for comfort during your stay, do some more digging and find another place.

    Stayed one night in early Nov 21. Here is what we thought: The good: Lots of places to eat near by, the lobby was clean and bright. The bad: (1) 1st room smelled like pee so gor another room immediately. (2) 2nd room had a bathroom with pocket door where the track was broke. Could not open or close bathroom door. Was told this was the only other room available. (3) The breakfast is a joke: cold cereal, instant oatmeal, and store bought muffins. No hot food. No fruit (thought we were in Florida?). No juice. Also, this hotel is near major rads and you can. here traffic all night long.

    The hotel is a little dated, but its a budget hotel yet workable for an overnight stay. I like the face its close to restaurants and although parking is tight, its doable. The front desk was very helpful and accommodating as their system was shutdown for check-in (not their fault). I'd go again for and overnight stay to enjoy the beaches.

    I would give it a Zero if I could, I am currently laying fully dressed on top of the sheets in which I hope they changed from the last guest. I have stayed at this hotel a couple years back and it was great. This time is fucking filthy, the light switches are dirty with something that I could wipe off so the cleaning people didn't bother. The towel for your face has pubic hairs still on it and the fire alarm is covered by a bag so it doesn't get triggered by the crack smoking happening in the room, yes there was a cockroach of course. The carpets are filthy and the smell of the room is worse than all the above together. Not staying in a sleep inn ever again! Oh yeah and on the parking lot there are guests doing lines off the trunk of a car so definitely not kids friendly. As a matter of fact if you have an enemy recommend send them this way!!! The gentleman at the front desk was great, polite and very nice. Should be working at a nicer hotel chain.. ATTACHED PICTURES!

So the hotel was great, in my opinion. Staff was great at check-in and the room was nice and tidy. It's also next to McDonalds and a gas station. Good especially if you have kids that only eat nuggets! Oh! And Cracker Barrel is next door, too. Which is always good. It's not more than 7 miles to the racetrack and right off of I-95 so it was easy to get out and get to the track. Definitely helped heading back after a long day. Breakfast was typical but not bad. I'm used to staying at the Hilton brands for work and these smaller ones have why you need...and it's included. So not much room to complain. If I had a gripe, a trendy barn door that doubles as the closet door and bathroom door. Doesn't, ahem, reduce sound when in the bathroom.

As a loyal Hilton Honors member, I frequently utilize the contactless check-in and digital key features designed to enhance guest convenience and streamline the arrival process. My experience at this particular location, however, starkly contradicted these anticipated benefits and fell significantly short of the high standards I associate with the Hilton brand. Upon booking my reservation, I was pleased to receive an email confirming my digital key availability and the option for a contactless arrival. This assurance, however, proved to be entirely misleading. When I arrived at the hotel, I found that my digital key was not activated in the Hilton app. My expectation of a seamless entry was immediately dashed when I was informed at the front desk that I was required to physically complete the check-in process, including presenting identification and filling out paperwork, before my digital key would be enabled. This completely undermined the very purpose of the Hilton Honors contactless program, causing considerable inconvenience and frustration. My attempt to clarify this discrepancy with the front desk agent, Brittany, regrettably escalated into a deeply unpleasant encounter. Despite my explanation and offer to demonstrate my active digital key option within the app, Brittany became immediately dismissive and hostile. She refused to acknowledge my concerns, instead accusing me of being "belligerent" while claiming she was trying to help. Shockingly, she then attempted to cancel my pre-paid reservation, an action that was fortunately unsuccessful due to the advance payment. Such professional misconduct is unacceptable and completely undermines any sense of customer service. Following this disheartening interaction, I requested to speak with a manager Jomarie Villanueva Perez a request that was denied. I subsequently reached out to the manager via email, detailing the issues I had encountered. The manager's response was not only unhelpful but also misrepresented the facts of the situation, offering an empty apology defending the employees actions. No compensation, or resolution for the extremely rude and hostile treatment I received from their employee. Beyond the severe service failures, the overall condition of the hotel was also disheartening. The property appears to be noticeably rundown, and I was particularly dismayed by a pervasive dog odor within the room. The hotel has a pet-friendly policy, which allows dogs for a nominal fee, the lack of proper cleaning and maintenance created an uncomfortable environment. Furthermore, the persistent barking of dogs was audible from neighboring rooms, particularly during quieter hours, further detracting from a peaceful stay. In light of these numerous and significant issues - ranging from the failure to honor core Hilton Honors benefits to egregious customer service and substandard hotel conditions - I feel compelled to advise other travelers to avoid the Hampton Inn Daytona/Ormond Beach. This experience was deeply disappointing and has unfortunately tarnished my perception of what I expect from a Hilton property.

We came and went from the hotel multiple times per day every day of our trip and were always greeted by the front desk clerk. We woke up the final morning of our trip, enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, packed up and were going to head to Disney World for the day. Much to our surprise, our rental vehicle was not in the parking spot in which we left it. We proceeded back inside and advised the front desk clerk. She advised us that they towed it away because we didn't register it. We were NEVER asked to register our vehicle during our check-in and various encounters with the front desk personnel. The hotel only had a few guests our last night, so I would think they could have done courtesy checks with the people who were staying to see if the vehicle belonged to them prior to towing it away. We asked to speak to the manager (Roseline). She came to the front desk, never made eye contact, pretended to type on a computer, never apologized for the mishap and promised to look into the matter and get back to us. We are now 8 days later, and we still haven't heard one word from the hotel. I have left several messages and sent multiple emails to not only Roseline but the General Manager as well with absolutely ZERO response. We have spoken to Corporate Hilton who has been responsive however, they have indicated the hotel is required to rectify this situation. DO NOT BOOK A STAY AT THIS HOTEL IF YOU EXPECT STAFF TO BE ATTENTIVE TO YOUR MATTERS.

This hotel was right across the street from Ocean Center where we would be headed the next morning. The hotel was massive having a south and north tower with 16 floors on each side. My roommate and I were ocean front on the 12th floor, nearly in the middle of the south tower. WOW, what a view! I didn't realize until arriving to the room there was no balcony. However, you could open a regular size sliding door to see and hear the ocean. There were bars like a balcony in front of the sliding door but you could only step out one foot on the tiny platform. I left the door open while I was reading and it was so peaceful to hear the ocean;) Parking was nearly two blocks away on the opposite side of the street and across the street from the entrance of Ocean Center behind a barbecue restaurant. This was a bit of a pain pulling the luggage that far. Plus you had to go up a steep incline to get into the lobby. I could have paid an extra $20 for parking overnight if I had used the hotels valet service. No thanks lol! We did get a discount for the parking lot because we were attending the conference. Instead of $35 it was $20 (with taxes $23). The hotel was a little dated. The light over the sink flickered. But did stop after the light was on for a little bit. The beds however were up to the Hilton standard as well as the pillows, nice and comfortable. I shared the room with a friend from church. I liked the feature of having an extra sink and mirror outside the bathroom. There was a mini fridge but no microwave. The desk chair needed replaced as the seat was very worn in. Service at the front desk was friendly and they helped answer all my questions about parking. It was a little confusing because you didn't have a ticket and I couldn't figure out how I would get out of the lot when the conference was over the next day. But the front desk attendant advised they would have someone at the exit gate to open it when the conference let out. And they did;) Thanks for a comfortable night's sleep Hilton! I would stay here again if attending a conference that included a discount code as this hotel was pretty pricey.

My recent stay was a complete letdown, and it's clear that cleanliness and maintenance are not a priority here. To start, the lobby bathroom was out of toilet paper and hand soap, which is pretty basic. When I got to my room, it was even worse. I found a shot glass, dirty underwear, and a dirty towel - totally unacceptable, even during Spring Break. The pool area was a mess, with bottles and chicken bones scattered around. And to top it off, my room overlooked a building roof piled with trash like a chair, coffee pot, pillow, and a ton of bottles. This hotel desperately needs a remodel and a serious overhaul of its cleaning and maintenance procedures. Save yourself the disappointment and book somewhere else.

Then we noticed that in the main area there were multiple cracked tiles on the floor as well as in the bathroom. The next day he called the guest services to let them know about the smell since we got in too late to call. They told him they could move us to a different u it but without a washer and dryer. We did not want to have to bring dirty clothes home so he asked if they could just come and reclean the room. They agreed on a time since they said he would have to leave the room. When he came back he said the room smell was just as bad and the floor was even more sandy. It looked like all they did was make the bed. Which we couldn't care less we can do that. Now even worse it was the remainder of the time we had small flies in the room like drain flies. My husband tried to contact the guest services with a day left. Instead of trying to remedy the situation they wanted to move us across the resort. With all our stuff unpacked this would have been a bigger inconvenience. Upon checkout we asked the guest services to have a manager call us as she will be there in about 20 minutes. We have been checked out over 24 hours and still have not received a call. Being an Hilton honors member this is unacceptable.

But you had to use your room card to get into the building to access the elevators. I had an oceanfront room on the 7th floor with a small balcony. I enjoyed my night in Ormond Beach more than Daytona as it had a slower pace and was quieter. The room was a nice size but the bathroom was teeny tiny. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The chair beside the bed was comfortable as I sat in it for a while watching TV. But if you're looking to do some work at the desk it only offers a pull-out stool which was stored under the desk. The free breakfast Sunday morning wasn't much. There was no hot bar or waffle maker. I grabbed a bagel, toasted it and added some strawberry cream cheese. They also had cereal and muffins. I loved that checkout was at 12:00 PM! I got up just after sunrise put on my bathing suit and hung out at the pool for about an hour, grabbed some rays before eating breakfast, taking a shower and hitting the road for home. I would stay here again but probably only for one night.

It was an amazing view! Room was clean, continental breakfast was fresh and the hostess was also amazing. We stayed 3 nights and 4 days before our cruise and enjoyed every minute. While it's not a modern hotel it is clean and the staff is friendly and always willing to help. Thanks for a great first time experience!
