Specialties
20% off for new clients! Chateau Doggo provides in-home dog care in South Seattle. We welcome dogs of all ages and personalities, and care is tailored to your dog's needs.
Small by design: We take a maximum of 3 guest dogs at a time. Solo-guest rates are available if you'd like your dog to be our only guest.
Free roam of the house: Guests have the run of the house plus a fully fenced, locked, and secure backyard with a dog door. There's also a dedicated dog futon in the room where I spend most of my day.
Home most of the time: I'm home on a regular basis. If I step out, it's never for more than 3 hours. During that time, all dogs rest in separate climate-controlled rooms with water, a bed, a blanket, and a toy. Let me know if that won't suit your dog and we'll arrange an alternative.
Medication and special needs: Seniors, special diets, and daily meds are all welcome.
Ready for arrival: Before each stay, I wash all dog blankets, put fresh sheets on the futon, clean the water bowl, and bring out fresh toys.
Emergencies: We're a 2-minute walk from Four Paws, my regular vet, and 25 minutes from BluePearl's 24-hour emergency hospital. Prefer your own vet? Just tell me.
History
Established in 2025.
Chateau Doggo started the way most good pet care does: neighbors asking, "Could you watch my dog?" After years of pet sitting through Rover, I formalized the business in 2026. The goal was to offer a boutique alternative to big boarding facilities, the kind of care I'd want for my own dogs
Meet the Business Owner: Chris R.
I share my home with two senior rescues, Jasper and Phaedra. Both are terrier mixes, about 20 lbs, and they're the heart of Chateau Doggo.
Jasper has been with me for 11 years and is a very healthy 13year-old. He came to us with a history of abuse and was wary of new people. With a trainer's help, he's now a playful, confident guy who loves other dogs.
Phaedra has been with us for 8 years. We rescued her with severe dermatitis (her nickname was Bumpy). Medicated baths, oral meds, and an elimination diet to pinpoint her food allergies turned her into a healthy sweetheart. She takes a few daily prescriptions, so if your dog needs daily medication, no problem.
Those two taught me patience, and that every dog needs something a little different. Whatever your dog's age or personality, I'll follow your care instructions to the letter. Your pup joins our pack for keep-away, fetch, tug-of-war, and plenty of affection from all three of us.
