My instincts told me that a photographer with prior experience at our venue would show up in the pictures themselves. Lo and behold, they did! Sarah was an impeccable director throughout our Welcome Party & Wedding + Reception. She has the golden finger with her camera and was able to capture us (we're camera shy), our family and our friends perfectly. Everyone was so impressed with her rapid turnaround on our Sneak Peeks. The joy of reliving our Wedding and being able to share these moments with vendors and guests is priceless. She was worth every penny and is even featured on the front page of Lido's Events Pamphlet. We cannot thank her enough for providing us with the best keepsake from our special weekend. We'll be reliving these moments for decades to come!

She did such a beautiful job capturing the day, especially the special moments with our family that we'll always cherish. We loved her style, and all of the photos feel so natural and genuine. We hired Nguyet to do both our birth photography (her coming to the hospital during my labor and…read moredelivery) and newborn photos (2 weeks after birth) and let me tell you she did an incredible job with both shoots. Let me first start with our birth photos. I am not the nicest person when I'm uncomfortable and I was worried that I would offend her or something awful would come out of my mouth during labor. She was so gosh darn nice about everything and so considerate, I honestly didn't realize she was there most of the time. She was really a stealthy shooter because some of the shots I had no idea when or how she took them. Nguyet always asked the nurses or doctors if it was okay to take photos before starting. I wound up having a c-section, but I was pretty much drugged up where I really forgot everything that happened. Then a few days or maybe a week later, nguyet sends us our pics, and I was floored. It was like I experienced all of the beautiful parts of labor and birth again but without all of the pain!! Her documentation was beautiful, as awful as I felt, and she really captured the hard, raw emotions going on in the birthing room. Also while going through the pictures, my husband was able to recall many of his emotions step by step, which was nice to hear and bond. On to our newborn photos, she documented them in our own home. She was delicate, and sure about handling our first born (being an awesome mom herself!). She even brought a cute outfit for him and had a few ideas that she wanted to capture!! They turned out beautiful again and I owe much to her patience and kindness during this whole process.

The photo studio is located inside AR Galleria (the main galleria entrance was locked on Sunday afternoon so I had to enter through the side door via Cafe Lowell). [Parking]: Easy and free parking in the large plaza. [Reservation]: I was able to call and book a same-day reservation on Sunday. Visitors can also make an online reservation via the studio's website. Upon arrival, I scanned a QR code and signed a waiver before the owner started my 5-minute photo session. [Price]: $27 for 4 physical copies and digital copies to download via email (must be downloaded within 7 days). I did not initially receive an email, but I emailed the owner the next day about the download link and he sent a follow-up email with the link within a few hours (the email was hidden in my spam folder). The email included all the pictures taken during the session. The shop also makes photo keychains ($4+ each). The studio also offers 15-minute and 30-minute self-portrait sessions. [Studio]: While I was here for a passport photo, the studio mainly operates as a self-portrait studio where customers take photos of themselves. This small studio has all the props and camera setup needed to make it happen. [Process]: The owner had me sit on a chair and took 7 pictures. Out of the 7 pictures taken, I was able to choose one for him to print while the rest of pictures can be downloaded via a link in an email. It was more important to receive a digital copy because the US passport renewal process requires applicants to upload a digital photo rather than submit a physical copy. I was able to use one of the digital copies and now that same picture will be on my passport for the next 10 years before the next renewal timeline. [Conclusion]: Overall it was an efficient process and I was able to walk in and out within 15 minutes. However, it would be helpful for the studio to provide additional entry instructions on the website when the main galleria entrance is locked.
