Opened recently, this store is located on Columbia St. W inside a mall, with lots of parking this is a great location! I ordered the 8pc Family Meal with 1 side and biscuits, asked the very nice gentleman behind the counter if I can have 1/2 spicy and 1/2 crispy, and he kindly obliged, our meal was ready in a few minutes and once you open the box the air is filled with the aroma of the golden goodness in front of you! First bite: explosion of juice from the chicken, then you crunch on the crispy outer layer with all the seasoning and spices, the normal ones are already very well seasoned, but of course without the heat of the spice. Once I finished my first normal piece, I cannot resist to try the spicy ones, and Yes! it is spicy but so good with the meat very tender and juicy, in fact even the chicken breast are cooked to perfection without being dry at all! When I asked about something that would be quick to come out she was rude and informed me that I would need to wait another 15mins for a poutine. I ended up waiting another 20 minutes, and there was no effort to rush the replacement so the rest of my very expensive order wouldn't sit. By the time I got everything home, the food was lukewarm and the fries were soggy. For an order for seven people, that was extremely disappointing. To top it off, after all of this, the server actually asked me if I wanted change back. I'm usually a very good tipper and have no problem rewarding good service, but there was no way I was leaving a dime after the attitude and lack of care I experienced. Running out of an item happens, and mistakes are understandable, but customer service and common courtesy cost nothing. Unfortunately, this experience is consistent with others I've had here. As a local customer who has supported this business many times, I left disappointed once again. I will not be returning and will not be recommending it to anyone else.
