Cashiers are nice but the middle managers are horrible. My son made an appointment and the employee didn't show up. He then made a second appointment and got a text to reschedule. The African American woman (I'd use her name if she wore a name tag) is rude and demeaning to customers. She locks the doors early every Saturday and closes the drive through early, showed her photos of the time stamp and she refused to listen or provide her name. Why is this bank so weird? When you walk in, there's a giant desk that was clearly once the front counter...but now it's blocked off and there's a big ATM in front of it. Okaaaay... Then you're shuffled to the side into a line where someone triages people's needs (Portillo's-style). They keep trying to push you to "do it yourself" by depositing checks into the ATM...if I had wanted to do that I would go through the drive-thru one! There were three people at the tiny back desk doing indoor and drive-up transactions. I'm sure this is a cost-cutting measure, but frankly this is confusing and just plain looks stupid. Also, can we talk about questionable music choices? It doesn't seem terribly professional for "Blister in the Sun" to be playing in a bank... I prefer the downtown Chase location, but there is no parking there! I guess you can't have everything when banking here. read more

Don't know why people have given low ratings. I've been banking with Chase for 15+ years now and have never had an issue with them. This location is particularly good. Mostly because of the Manager named Kristen. She not only always helped me in any way she can when I have the occasional hiccup with my account. (Which is my fault or someone other than Chases's fault 99% of the time). But she is also very kind and isn't one of those people in the customer service industry who make you feel stupid or belittled for making a mistake or needing help. Chase is a great bank to choose to begin with, but add her to the mix and they've got me for life! read more

Limited tellers. Only two available and they were also serving drive up clients. No seating, not great if you're very pregnant and waiting. Plenty of bankers in office without clients not attending to people waiting. Transaction fine once they get to you. read more

As many enemies as I've made at various Chase branches through the years, this location has consistently scored below average when I rate how much I hate having to enter and speak to the humans and/or cyborgs (jury's still out) that work inside. I mean, maybe there are Chase locations elsewhere that are pleasant, but the ones in Naperville are few and far between... like, I think this *might* be the only one and they certainly deserve some props for it. It's really nice that they have 5 drive-thru lanes and that 2 are strictly fast ATM transactions. And I think it ends up working in this location's favor that it's located so inconveniently at the extremely busy intersection of Ogden and Naper. You can only directly get into this location is you're heading south and Naper blvd and are feeling lucky in the way of the person driving behind you isn't racing to make it across the intersection and slams into your car as you make the sharp right just a few car lengths after crossing Ogden... which I can tell you is a semi-frequent occurrence. You can also take a tributary street of Ogden down a couple yards and get into the lot that way, but since you can't actually turn directly into the parking lot from Ogden, it really cuts down on bank traffic, and probably also cuts down on a lot of the headaches the employees at other busier branches deal with. Inside is laid out pretty well. It's visually very balanced, like any scene in a Wes Anderson flick, except of course more sterile and dull because it is still a bank. The staff here seem fresher and more willing to help, or find shortcuts for you when there's bureaucratic bank-y red tape in the way. And I think they exhibit an un-bankerly characteristic of being able to show empathy over the usual front of sympathy when something goes awry... like to 8 bazillionth time they forget to send me a new debit card when the old one expires. read more

My husband has used Chase since 2007, so I didn't protest the choice of using Chase for a home loan, he even already has a rental property financed through Chase. However, the experience we had with Aaron at this location was not welcoming nor professional. My husband and I will likely never bank at the same bank because I will not bank at a place that sees me as $$$ and not a person. However, after yesterday he may be switching his main accounts to another bank. I will start with I just had a baby, and had to bring us with us. Fortunately, he slept most of the time. I was going to also open a checking and savings account for myself (I would have been a new Chase member) and a savings for our newborn. Aaron initially seemed nice telling me about an offer for new members who open a checking and savings, just use this coupon, I don't need it he said. It was a great deal to get $300, I said thank you and thought well that's why my husband banks here. If only it was sincere. After a few minutes of discovering our situation, Aaron seemed to be rushed and unwilling to discuss all the options with us. He simply told us after running one set of numbers to sell our town house rental property. Also, that there was no way for my parents to help us with a down payment because you can't be gifted a down payment. Maybe that is true, but I know many other people who have had there parents help so there is a way, just not as a "gift". We asked about other options, but he seemed done with us. He didn't even work on a number that we could stay within to pay for a place entirely ourselves, which we know is possible. We are well educated university grads with graduate degrees, my husband is an attorney, we aren't stupid people who he could play when the situation wasn't black and white and an easy use of his time. However, he clearly seemed to think that. Maybe, it was because eventually our son woke up and I was quietly singing him a nursery rhyme to keep him from crying. Aaron seemed very annoyed by that. He even said, ok so are you still going to open those accounts now? While staring at me and my son with a disapproving eye. I was going to and I was going to nurse him back to sleep, my right by law! But Aaron made me so uncomfortable. I said I guess I can come back another time. He said that's what I thought, and then took his promo offer back from me! My husband said oh I thought we could use that? He said oh uh... It expires. IT DIDNT EXPIRE UNTIL OCTOBER 23! I read the offer, but after grabbing it back obviously because we didn't get a home loan through him I don't want to be a member there. I will not be opening an account for myself or my newborn where I'm clearly seen as money and not a person. By far the worst bank experience to date, and the first time I have felt unwelcome with my baby and unable to nurse him even covered without worrying about being treated poorly. Maybe it's just this one Aaron, at this one branch, but my husband and I will just have to continue banking at separate banks, and getting a home loan through another lender. read more

I pretty much love all Chase banks, and this one is no different. It is in a great, convenient location and it is easy to get in and out of. The lady who helped me today was nice. She kept calling me by my name (which I love because it's so personal and professional) and she was quick to help me with what I needed. The only thing that frustrated me was that I asked for a cashiers check and she sent me the wrong form to fill out. When I pushed the call button to let her know she sent me the wrong one, she told me, "No, that's the right form." I've come to Chase for a while not and get a cashiers check every month and this was not the right form. She didn't want to give me a new form, or even bother to see which form she had actually given me so I had to fill it out anyways. Of course, since it was the wrong form there was no where to write where to make the check out to, so I just put the name on the back. Naturally, she had to ask me "Who are you making this out to, it doesn't say." Well of course it doesn't, because you gave me the wrong form! Three stars is so average and I want to go 4 stars but the Chase app limitations forces a 2. Online check deposit amounts are very limited per month unlike US Bank and others. This make it basically useless for a small business. Chase does however honor veterans better than US Bank so it's a wash. read more

I had a checking account at Chase Bank and I had to close the account. They said they have to mail me the money I had in my account. It's been 26 day's and I still do not have the money from my checking account, it's a couple thousand dollars they just decided to hold? Terrible customer service while trying to figure out why I couldn't just withdraw my ending balance. Everyone I talked to told me something different. Unbelievable. I've never been compelled to review before but this particular location in Naperville on route 59 and Diehl rd has a teller name Sharon who consistently acts as if she's doing me a favor every time she takes my deposits. I cannot wait to get out of there when she is begrudgingly handling my deposits.My restaurant has been doing business with Chase for 6 years now Even though the fees are higher than their competitors, because of proximity to my restaurant and friendly customer service I stayed. Sharon has unfortunately been at this branch now for over a year. I now find myself going to more distant branches just to feel welcome as a customer. They only have 2 tellers when I go in so the chances of having to deal with Sharon as a teller is high.Today was the last straw when I went to the drive thru to make 3 small cash deposits and was told by Sharon that she would "allow" me to make my small deposit this time in the drive thru but that I needed to come in to the bank to make it easier(for her) in the future. Really!!! I went around the bank and walked inside. I'm aware that Cash deposits are more time consuming and when necessary with larger deposits I do normally walk in being respectful of other customers but there was literally no customers behind me in line and when I went into the bank there was no other customers.The only time I get this attitude is with this young woman. Maybe I'm out of line here but I expect a hello and a thank you after I'm done transacting business. Maybe a little friendliness, humility and respect is to much to ask from this teller. I pay in fees and interest over $9,000 a year to this bank. I am switching my 5 accounts to Bank of America and taking my 30 employees with me just to avoid this entitled, arrogant, banker. I've been with Chase for a while and have never had a complaint. I've been into this location numerous times and it's generally quick and painless. Recently my PayPal account (which was linked to my Chase checking account) was hacked. Someone changed my password and attempted to withdraw $1000 from my Chase checking account. I called Paypal immediately and they told me they'd do an investigation but I would need to call Chase. So I did, and the Chase security branch I spoke to over the phone was awful. Very scripted and told me they couldn't stop the transfer. So I went in to this Chase location and was promptly helped by Leslie. She got on the phone with different Security people and attempted to put a stop on the transfer. Lo and behold, it worked! She also helped me close my checking account and open a new one just to be safe and followed up with me the next week to finish things up. She was SO incredibly helpful and caring, especially compared to the frustrating service I initially received over the phone. read more

Horrible experience. My business qualified for a loan in 2013 and after one year my banker Priti Chandre proposed a line of credit increase. We submitted the loan application, and after a few weeks Priti sent me a large package of documents saying I should sign this package to proceed with the loan. The interest rate was not outlined in bold and neither did pretty mention anything about an interest rate increase for my business line of credit. The rate increased 150% from the original rate, and the line of credit was increased by an insignificant amount. Business owners and consumers BE AWARE. I would send my business elsewhere. read more
