I had a Business checking account at this branch and closed it, but needed to reopen it again. I started at a branch close to my work, and was told that they could not help me at that time. I decided to contact the Monroe branch and spoke to Diego H. at that branch and he made an appt. with me, I met with him the next day and with 30 minutes he had my account re-opened, all set and was fantastic. He knew exactly what I needed, how to proceed, and had me out of there in 40 minutes (we chatted or I could have been done in 30 minutes). I was pleasantly surprised after being told by a banker at the other branch that the process would take two hours and to come back even though I had an appt there. He said he was really busy LOL. Diego was the best and I highly recommend the Monroe branch. The other two tellers there were also fantastic and very helpful. read more

I had an estate account that had concluded, but I was missing one piece of paper to close it, so left it alone for nearly a year, not paying any attention to it. I check back nearly a year later and they have suddenly started charging the account a service fee, leaving me with half of my balance than when I started. I made an appointment immediately to close the account, and sort out why I had been charged monthly fees when I was told that the account wouldn't be charged fees by two tellers, I never received any notification of the fee starting, and I have several other Chase accounts, in excellent standing for years and years... so why charge me on this account? I sat down with Benjamin who disregarded all of my concerns about not being notified, or being told that it was a fee free account by other employees, or that I am a customer of chase on other accounts, and he just kept trying to make petty small talk while seeing if he could reverse any of them. "Nope couldn't do it, but maybe I can do the last month or two... There you go. I mean you want that right? I can take it back!" (I wanted to walk out I was so pissed that he joked about taking the 1/10th he was going to refund, and take it back.) He refunded me $24 of the $200+ they took in fees. Is it my job to have to advocate for myself at this bank? I should have told him to get me in touch with someone that could gets all those fees refunded. I felt so disrespected by the jokes or whatever Benjamin thought he was doing. I'm going to be cancelling my other accounts and credit cards. I don't want to be associated with this business. read more

Had to make an appt to see someone to open acct. they had only 3 workers there. And the acct person is fully booked. They don't have a restroom they said go to fredmeyers. Decided to look into another bank. The $250 they would give is not worth it. read more

Worst home loan experience ever. Closing was late by 3 weeks adding undue stress and financial burden on me and my family. I don't know if all branches are this bad but I would steer others away from Chase for anything after this experience. read more

Worst customer service.... I was wanting to opening a checking and savings account and had to use the restroom and pee and they said go to another store. Wtf really? You want my business but want me to pee somewhere else? So I left and went to Wells Fargo :) read more

If there was a zero star option, I would take that. I went to Chase today in Monroe. There was a line of about 5 or 6 people with only one teller. The tellers are always professional and friendly there, but they are ALWAYS understaffed except for the loan officers who are sitting alone, not making loans. Today there were 2 people from their corporate in the branch. I know this because I was in banking for 15 years and the corporate people are always the obvious ones. The suits were standing by the vault and I made direct eye contact with the man. He looked at me for 2 seconds and looked away. Typical corporate having zero concern with the people who bank there. They care about the money deposited, but not the people who deposit that money. The poor employees were on edge because these judgemental, well paid people from corporate made them nervous. The corporate people don't care anything about their employees. When the teller, who makes maybe $15/hour is robbed, the controller and other financial department people go to the branch and count the entire bank to see how much was taken. When the feds come in, the corporate people are pushed aside. NOONE cares about the poor teller(s) and their scare. They may have PTSD from the experience and the corporation does nothing. Again, I know this because I've seen it happen over and over again. The corporate people earn six figure incomes and bonuses and sit in their cushy offices without giving one care about the employees on the front line. It's disgusting and when my credit card is paid, I'll never bank with Chase again. Take care of your employees. read more

I have no experience with the personal or business banking function of this branch (although I can say that the branch manager Megan is an absolute delight to speak with), however I had the WORST EXPERIENCE of my 14 year real estate career working with their Chase loan officer CLAYTON KUHRAU. Avoid him at all expenses. The highlights of his short comings include over 7 days of un-returned calls and emails on the loan status only to find out the appraisal had not been ordered (as was communicated to us via email over a week prior) as well as other preventable delays resulting in a 3 WEEK DELAY OF CLOSING. This was 100% preventable and unnecessary. There was no accountability by Clayton or Chase Bank. read more
