We've been banking at this branch since we moved to Los Al in 2012. Although we have had some issues with chase as a whole we've always had great experiences at this branch fixing those issues. I have been a Chase member for 11 years now. One of my Chase locations i frequently stopped at for transactions and deposits. One of the best banks in the area to go to. Nice well set place. Staff are helpful and wonderful into getting customers to start up bank accounts with Chase. Love the parking structure here, but at the same time, its a little tricky to enter in and out. Looks a bit scary at night time as well. I kind of dont like the fact the bank is near an alley. But, this is a safe area. Always a pleasure to visit here. read more

I avoid personal face-to-face customer service as much as possible so as not to be disappointed, and stick with the ATM for most bank transactions. Today I needed to go inside to get a larger than usual cash withdrawal plus inquire about other things. I was only the 3rd person in line on a Monday afternoon, so there was really no wait. The teller was a very well mannered and helpful young man named Arnaz ( I hope the spelling is right). He was knowledgeable when answering my questions regarding currency exchange. He is a good representative for the bank. He handed my cash over in an envelope. I thought that was a small gesture that showed he was thinking of the customer. And really, in the end, that is all we are hoping to receive when we enter a bank, which is holding after all, our own money, right? read more

The other night I sat down at my computer to log into Chase and check my balance; I was waiting THIRTY MINUTES for the sign on to complete, and then I realized that it's been this horrible for months now... I decided then and there that I don't really care what has caused Chase's PC and smart phone response times to dive into the toilet; I DO care that it takes WAY to long to do anything with this financial institution, and it's time to vote with my feet! Been a Chase customer since 2006 when I opened my account in AZ (when I lived there). I rarely stop in (other than for quarters for laundry) but my chip on my debit card was bad so I ordered a new card. The rep who helped me was very friendly, efficient, and helpful, and got me in and out under 10 min (wished I would've remembered his name). I've tried to make an appointment twice to open a new account and the first time, Jorge was late 20 minutes which didn't leave me enough room to open before going back to work and then the second time we rescheduled, I was told he wasn't working today when I walked in. My family and I have been banking at this location since it was a Washington Mutual. This was the bank where I opened my first checking account and liquid CD. It's also the branch that I went to after I changed my last name to get it changed on all my documentation and cards. Overall great, respectful and attentive staff, easy to reach over the phone, and safe and convenient location (especially for their outdoor ATM machine). One of the staff members kindly offered his services as a notary while they were short-staffed on a Saturday, and he probably did so because we were CPC. read more

I've been a Chase customer for about a year now. When I opened an account I was living in Roadium City (Gardena), and the Chase branches in the area were miles beyond the dumpsters that BofA called banks. Fast forward to today, and I am happily back in the city of Los Alamitos. One of the best parts about it is still having a nice, modern Chase right up around the corner. It's nice to walk in and be helped by such polite and professional employees. No really! Plus they have free suckers in the lobby, including the mysterious blue-flavored ones. The ATMs usually don't have a line, at least not that I've ever seen. So much nicer than the lines of people fifteen deep all cashing welfare checks back at the BofA in Gardena. I only have a few minor gripes about this location that are worthy of denying that coveted fifth star. 1.) The parking lot is somewhat of a pain in the ass. The parking spaces are all compact, and also angled, seeing as it's one-way only. Well, as any California driver can attest, people around here can't drive let alone park, so you'll often find cars all over the place and well over the lines. 2.) The driveway on Los Al Blvd is small and can barely squeeze two cars at the same time, and upon exiting it's borderline impossible to get across all the lanes if you need to make a left onto Katella. 3.) I always seem to have problems with depositing checks at the ATM. I'd say I'm batting .500 with the machines at this location as far as having checks spit back out. I'm to the point where I just go in whenever I need to deposit something. Still a nice Chase, and makes me glad I finally ditched Bank of America! read more

When we came in, Divjot took amazing care of us, and was kind, cordial, and relatable. I do not bank with Chase. Today I was given a check (drew from Union Bank) and I wanted to see if they had any check-cashing service, to check out the new organization as it has changed hands, and possibly open up an account if cashing the check was not possible. After entering I politely removed my cap. There were two tellers who were helping their guests and nobody was in line. When the first teller became free, and I promise it was one or two seconds after her client walked away she was calling me like she had been waiting there for a few minutes, almost impatiently. After I asked her about the possibility of cashing the check she pointed to the "Union Bank NA" on the top of the check like I was a dumbass and didn't know that. She did not refer me to a financial representative and I was caught off-guard and asking about account possibilities didn't suit me at that moment. She wasn't mean or impolite but she wasn't nice. I had dropped my cap when another client brought it to my attention and I heard someone murmur "sleepy." "So" if you want a snooty-kind of bank where you feel like bringing your alter-ego in then this is definitely your bag. If I decided to bank with Chase, I would give it a second thought (this branch, only because I live in the neighborhood) but it would be a hard look. Definitely judged by the cover today but I'm sure the branch is better than that, with all due respect. The ATM works just great. read more

If you're coming here on a Saturday like the majority of people who work M-F 9-5 jobs AND you need to speak with a personal banker rather than just deposit at the ATM/Teller, then you need to walk back out of this Chase Branch and drive the 3 minutes to the Chase on Ball and Bloomfield, also in Los Alamitos. The Katella branch is way too busy. I came around 1:00 PM this past Saturday and the wait was up to an hour long. I cancelled my appointment and drove to the branch on Ball and I was helped right away, in and out in 20 minutes! Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time because this branch and intersection tend to be very busy. I would hate to say I told you so.. read more

I have a few things to say about this Wamu. It's a small one but it's the closest one to me so i can't complain. There's parking, but i've gone sometimes and had to park in the alleyway. The employees are nice and quick so most of the time i can go in & out. On the rare occasions an older person might be at the teller for quite some time holding up the line. On a personal note the driveway from the street is really steep and i have a lowered car so it's really difficult for me to not scratch my front bumper. I have to go up diagonally and if there's a car going out i have to wait. read more

We just recently moved our business banking to Chase and I cannot be happier. We used to bank with F&M yet the VP mysteriously stopped working their so we decided to move on. I called to set up an appt with Patrick who is on the bus banking side and he came to my office and told me about all the services they offered and what would work for our business. I also visited Wells Fargo and US Bank here in SB and Los Al respectively. Patrick was most knowledgeable and very professional. We decided to go with Chase and I'm glad I did. I am now set up with a check scanner and Patrick has more than bent over backwards to accommodate us coming by our office if they need a signature or dropping off paperwork. They really take relationship banking to a new level! He even set us up with free personal accounts. read more

we have been doing our business banking now with Chase for almost a year. They have great customer service and excellent products. I really can't say anything bad about them! Patrick is our business banker whom I have direct contact with if I have any questions or concerns and they are always answered in a timely manner. Keep up the good work guys! read more

Another location with poor customer service. Please stay away from this branch they do not deserve your precious time and presence. There was one bank teller working. An older Caucasian lady was counting money behind the counter when I tried to make eye contact she quickly looked away. The others were busy as well but none were assisting clients. I'm not sure why the Caucasian lady did not want to help me or make eye contact but this is the third time I've been in this branch and every single time she has done the same thing. It almost felt like she didn't want to help me because of my race. I've been to other Chase branches and this location is the worst. I don't think I'll be coming back to this branch. I'd rather drive 2 miles down Seal Beach Blvd where they value their clients much better than this location. read more

This Chase has got to be the worse service I have received. Everyone who I have dealt with is so fake when they first greet you. When they offer their services they exxagerate about how its so easy and make verbal quarantees but then when underwriting rejects the application, reps ignores you.
