Sadia provided some of the best customer service I've experienced at Chase. We had been waiting for assistance, and she was the only clerk who acknowledged us and came over to help. She was courteous, personable, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable. She quickly resolved an issue we were having with an automatic charge, and while we were there, I mentioned the ongoing problems I'd been having trying to get my name changed on my account. I'd repeatedly requested the required forms from another office, but they never sent them. Instead of brushing it off, Sadia took the initiative to call the office herself to try to get the forms. When that still didn't work, she helped me schedule an appointment with her. At that appointment, she made sure everything was completed correctly and resolved the issue that same day. Sadia genuinely went above and beyond. She was proactive, competent, and made what had been a frustrating experience incredibly easy. I stopped in during my lunch break to get quarters and there was a long teller line. One of the employees whom stands around to help customers to shorten the teller line approached me and asked if I wanted to take cash out of their ATM and he'd give me some quarters (generally I do not care to do this as it takes the same amount of time to go through the teller line, but it was very long). I was given a check from Chase account that was written by an 82 year old man you can't get out of the house except by Medical Transport. Chase Bank charge him $8 because I didn't have an account there. He wrote the check to me so I wouldn't have a hassle. People are on hard times and Chase is charging people who are given checks by their clients in payment. Does that mean that the check writer should add 8 extra dollars to the check so the recipient doesn't lose money. Will Chase pay for medical transport so he doesn't get charged? Where is the no star option? I have watched them jerk around the aging people who I love generation after generation. My aging parents have had to come here on two separate appointments. At the first, they were unprepared and asked us to come back for a 1 pm appointment on a separate day. My parents are disabled, so that was difficult. When we returned for a 1:00 appointment. Citlaly Lopez, the banker, said she wrote it down for 2:30 and refused to move it up and told my parents to come back a third time. The inconvenience was physically difficult, but the contempt for old people was worse. I wish I could say this was a one off event. My Grandmother-in-law was treated the same way. I had one of those ubiquitous coupons that Chase offers for their checking or savings. It's hard to beat those coupons because the savings/checking rates are really bad. It took a few minutes in the lobby before I was being helped, but after I got in a cubicle it was all good. As for the regular counter area, there was a teller, but there are bunch of giant ipad style auto-tellers to do your banking. I rarely need an actual person to take care of my banking needs so I'm cool with not talking to a real person. read more

Chasebank This is the WORST bank with the WORST customer service ever. I arrived to the bank on Friday evening and of course, there was a long line with 1 window open, and about 5 bankers standing behind the glass talking and laughing. A "banker" came out and asked who was making a deposit. I raised my hand he VIEWED my check, and said I can deposit it in the ATM. I asked if he was sure he said absolutely. I deposited and pulled out the minimum available. On Saturday my account said ATM error with the check, and it was a negative amount. I went in to speak to David on Saturday morning. He assured me he would help me. He called customer service, they stated my check needed to be endorsed by both me and my mom who was also on the check. WHY DIDN'T THE FIRST "BANKER" SAY THAT TO BEGIN WITH??? He had them overnight it. And told me to bring my mom in to sign it and the minimum balance would be available that day, the remaining balance can take 48-72 hours to be available. The "over-nighted" check arrived 3 days later!!! My mom and I went into the branch she signed it (DAVID and the person he was training) never even checked my mom's ID to assure it was her. DAVID came back and said there is a hold on my check for 10 business days and denied ever saying my funds would be available. I asked to speak with a branch manager, of course no one was available. I have left messages for the Branch Manager with no return call. I have requested for the manager to reach out to me before leaving that bank and taking my business elsewhere. I have yet to hear back. I have called corporate a rep said the branch manager would reach out to me. Still no response. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!! read more

I've been a customer with Chase for many years. I went to many other branches with no issues but this branch is horrible with customer service. I went in for notary service appointment with this guy name Keish. When I get there, he told me he couldn't do it because he need all the paperwork. So I said ok I will ask my husband to come over right now. He should be here like 15-20 mins. He said he couldn't sit here and wait for me but have to go 'line' I was thinking maybe he have to be online or something, didn't think that he actually go to 'lunch' .. he also said 'you can go to other place for notary services too but they charge you fees' I said why would I do that when chase is offering it.... when my husband came with all the paperwork, some lady came out and said Keish went to lunch.. I'm think WTF he told me he went to lunch earlier 1-1:45 that why I came in at 2pm instead. I asked if the lady could ask him to do for me. She said 'oh no I can't do that. I can disturb while he's at lunch' ..I ASK AGIAN BECAUSE I DON'T to come back again... she said you can wait for him til 3:30.. at that moment I'm so angry because I have to go back to work and been sitting her wasting my time with these people... these people talk to you with an attitude which is why I'm so upset. Love this branch. Its new and clean and has plenty of parking. On a recent visit one of the greeters saw my Disneyland keychain then told me about the FREE DISNEY ATM card I could get. Of course I signed up for their Disney perks card. I get discounts at Disneyland by using my new DISNEY ATM card. The drive up here is easy to access even with a big car like me. read more

Chase bank customers beware I have been banking at the chase bank on valley and ball on February 6th someone went into this branch and stole $4000.00 from my checking account I closed my online banking a year ago due to it repeatedly being hacked then I started getting emails of ATM cards being ordered online our over the phone which wasn't me I went into the branch and had them put on there notes that unless I went physically into a branch and showed two forms of ID to not let anyone order any cards over the phone our online which they continued to do so even after I filled a police report and the police requested surveillance footage and I've spoken to the branch manager and the executive office they still refuse to return my money to me so chase customers beware keep an eye on your bank account and protect your money because chase bank isn't taking care of your money for you . read more

I would give this bank a negative 5 stars if I could. Not just this branch but the entire company! Last Tuesdsay I got a letter in the mail from Chase informing me that they were in the process of closing my accounts and that THEY had decided to end our relationship. Upon receipt of this letter I contacted Chase Bank at the phone number provided on the letter. They answered the phone "compliance department" never identified themselves as Chase Bank. I was uneasy providing any personal information to them so they told me to call the phone number on the back of my ATM card. I called Chase at the phone number on my card. I spoke with a customer service agent who could not provide me with any reason for the closure of my accounts. She attempted to transfer me to the "compliance department" where I was eventually disconnected. I then decided to drive down to my local branch of Chase Bank where I had originally opened my accounts several years ago. There I sat down with Rami Mekdache, a private client banker. I explained that I had received a letter in the mail which indicated that Chase was closing my accounts and ending our relationship. He asked me what I did for a living to which I responded that I am a registered nurse. He also asked me if any issues had come up with my accounts recently, to which I responded that there have been no issues. He then checked my accounts and said that there was some notation. He made a phone call (I dont know to where or to whom he spoke with) to try to get more information regarding these proceedings on my accounts. After a few minutes he hung up and told me that "noboby knows the reason for this", "noboby can tell me the reason", and "sometimes this just happens". He went on to say that sometimes "someone higher up just makes a determination and there's nothing that can be done about it". He also told me "my advice to you is to go open an account at another bank then withdraw your money and deposit it somewhere else." I was appalled that a bank employee at one of the largest banks in the US was advising me to withdraw all of my money from my accounts at his bank and telling me to take it elsewhere and without being able to give me any sort of explanation as to why my accounts were being closed and our financial relationship was being severed. I asked "does this mean I can never have any bank account with Chase ever again"? He responded "yes, you can never have another bank account with Chase again". This is ridiculous. I immediately withdrew my money, in cash, and left the establishment. I was furious. Do not bank with these clowns! read more

I got the pleasure of working with Wandee Chang the Chase loan agent who handled my first home purchase. From the beginning she has been extraordinary in explaining the process to a new home buyer. Whenever I had a question or needed her response, she has been on top of it and took care of business. When I found a house and needed a new pre approval for the new price, I was able to get ahold of her in one call and she instantly started work on it. Because of this fast responding agent I was able to get my offer in ahead of many other prospectors and I am proud to say that due to this, I ultimately I got the house. This house purchase was the first time I had done business with Chase bank and her hard work on my case really reflects highly on them and the people they chose to handle this department. I highly recommend her if you want someone who will answer and return your calls on time and someone who won't put your case on the " to do later" list. read more

Finally a lady addressed the customers in line but started in the back of the line instead of addressing the customers in the front of the line first. So my wife and I came in a couple weeks ago needing to add a person to an account of ours. It was 5:20 and we were denied service by the light hair/blonde hair sitting to the left of the walk in entrance. We came in and she was chit chatting with the girl across from her cubical office. She asked us what can she help us with and we said we needed to add a person with a chase account already to one of our account. She right away look at the clock and said sorry...it takes 45-60 min to make changes to your account. Really now...? I thought it was for real so we left. The next day we went back to our original bank in garden grove and a gal helped us. Guess what??? It took 15 minutes and that's with changing my wife's name and switching our account to a premier account. Either you're super slow or you just don't want to help us so you can go back to chit chatting. So unprofessional. We moved across the street from this bank but will definitely make a drive to a different location for any services. read more

This branch has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. This branch rarely answers their phone, so I walked in to try and set-up an appointment. Met by a rude "private banker" that wanted to know my business in front of a customer she was helping. She wouldn't leave her office, so she told me "just go to the counter." Finally got an appointment with a personal banker, but nothing was resolved with that meeting. He didn't seem to know how to do anything. He couldn't answer the majority of my questions and had to call an 800 number for clarification. After three in-person meetings and several phone calls, I went to a different branch. My affairs were ALL taken care within 24 hours. I've yet to hear back from the personal banker I was working with at this Cypress location. No follow-up at all. I left a message for the branch manager too. Never got a call from him/her either. Unbelievable. read more

I got a bonus offer in the mail and that's how I became curious. I dropped by the branch to get a feel. I sat down with a banker(she didn't know this I was interviewing her since I'm a long time Citi bank customer) right away I knew this is the kind of banker I wanted to work with. I went home and raved about her to my wife.(never raved about another woman to your wife)I called the banker to set up an appointment to proceed with opening the accounts. Both my wife and I we're very impressed by her professionalism, friendliness and knowledge. We should did learn a lot from this young lady. Since opening the account we had to take several trips to the branch to take care of business. I just call up my private banker and make and appointment with no problem she is always squeezes us in. I received a survey in the email about her service last month. I hope her manager was able to see it because she is the best bank representative I have ever met. If would've given her a greater rating if I could. I'm not now sharing this review for the community in cypress to go visit this branch and ask for Citlaly Lopez. Chase Bank....the company is terrible. This branch is terrible. I cashed a check DRAWN on a Chase account, at a Chase branch, and used my Chase account as identification. The check was legit and negotiable. AFTER the check was out of my custody it became damaged. A bank error. This caused the bank to not be able to automatically process the check. They charged MY account over $1,000 since THEY had damaged the check. The check was never drawn on my account. They did this without calling the account holder or me causing me to be in a negative balance. I called the day I found out and was directed to "CLAIMS". I was interrogated and given no form of resolution, no apology, and no options other than to talk to the issuer of check. The issuer of check, obviously a Chase customer and I BOTH called the bank and were conferences called in to a lady who promised to help. We were continually transferred from department to department. NO resolution was offered. No apologies were extended. They even asked us if the check we were calling about was drawn on a Chase account!!!!!! They promised me a call by end of day...never received a call even to this day a week later. My sister works for the bank and a low level coworker was able to determine this was a Chase error within 2 minutes. Armed with this info I was instructed to go to the branch and speak with branch manager. She never once came remotely close to extending an apology or showed any kind of concern. She demonstrates irritation with having to waste her time with me. They treated me like criminal. I believe they thought I was committing fraud of some sort. She made me go through the whole process again while she called and was transferred from dept. to dept. This was AFTER she spoke with the other branch that had discovered the truth. She argued that it was not a bank error. This is all after I had already received another check from the account holder to replace it. They had frozen my account and I could not transact on it until they removed the flag. After an hour in branch they finally allowed me to cash my check so I could correct the problem FOR them. I spent several hours over 3 days to correct this problem FOR them. I asked to close my account and all they did is say it would close automatically eventually. I finally was able to get some employee to close my account pending any transactions over the next day. I would never utilize this institution again. Wells Fargo is SO much better. The branch manager here is the worst BM I have ever encountered. She was very occupied asking her employees to quickly do things, which they weren't supposed to do, so that they could pass the audits her branch was under going. After meeting them I can understand why they were nervous. Who knows what else they are doing??? The company would be well advised to terminate their relationship with this person. They are quite clever, though, since they were able to get me to work so hard to correct an error for them....all without receiving a dime in compensation. Just think about that! It's like they hired me to be an investigator for 3 days to solve their issues at MY expense! Either very clever or quite the bloated corporate America bully they appear to be. read more

I had a coupon to get $150 credit for new customers and had forgotten the coupon at home when I went into the branch. Sangeeta said if I sent her the coupon information by email, she would get me that credit. I had emailed her sending her a picture of the front and back of my coupon and she never responded.
