With JPMorgan Chase being the largest bank (by assets AND capitalization) in the US, it has branches all over, some within walking distance from our home. Thus, we've never had a chance to visit this branch in Bixby Knolls (though we are in the area quite a bit visiting the various restaurants in the area). We stopped by because we needed to talk to a bank officer, and our attempt the previous day at a different branch didn't work. Making an appointment is the best way to get served, but figured we would press our luck at this branch since we were in the area and wanted to keep checking off tasks that we needed to get done. Everyone we dealt with throughout our visit was courteous and helpful. The greeter in the front did a simple triage of our needs, and was able to connect us with Mariela. She was courteous, helpful, and was constantly listening to understand the need. We were able to complete what we came to do, and I have been able to verify the accuracy and completeness on-line as well...no second visit/effort required. That's always a nice way to finish off an interaction. read more

Love this bank and their amazing customer service! All their employees are friendly, accommodating and very pleasant. I like that they always have someone by the door to greet you and ask you what you need as soon as you enter. Great service! read more

Went into this spot last week to open an account. Andres was my banker, right off the bat just starts profiling me. Saying I can make wire transactions and just made me feel over all bad for being human. I decided to keep my cool because it could've gone all types of ways, go somewhere else if possible. Avoid at all costs. read more

Being considerate and modest, I've been here before to withdraw and everything was okay, but today I was greeted by a candy seller outside the door wanting me to buy candy, which is okay, but I didn't even get my withdrawal without a slight hassle. So I did go to Bank of America down the st. I'll say this, they are very quick to give you a solution if they suspect any thing is off, which nothing was, maybe the energy in there was off today but I sure wasn't. I just got paid. Anywho, no biggie! The line always goes fast! The customer service is 4 star today. read more

Do not do business with this branch They betrayed my trust and caused unnecessary worry and inconvenience. Very paranoid back office, very small minded and egregiously incompetent. read more

Terrible branch! Don't waste your time going here. Got to the bank to send a time sensitive wire to escrow. Arrived when it opened. After 20 minutes of waiting, asked if I could be seen before 10:00 as I had been waiting since 9:00. They couldn't guarantee that so I left and went to another Chase where I could send a wire with ANY teller! Wow! read more

Sam who is the private client banker went out of his way to help us with getting a notary. Not only was he super cool but he asked his manager to help us get extra service which helped us tremendously. Thank you Sam "aka" Jared Kushner". Looks just like him. Good luck on your marriage! read more

Always CLEAN AND SMELLS CLEAN. Always friendly here! Melissa was great and I enjoy coming in to this location.

I went in Friday and the woman who is the manager of this location was extremely rude. It was fine if there was nothing they could do about my situation and card being locked, but the way she was speaking to me and cutting me off while I tried to explain was rude. she could have explained in a nice way, I did have have another man who spoke spanish help that was very nice, he approached us and Once i tried explaining to him she cut me off again and told me not to talk and that she will expalin the situation, all I heard her say to him was here take her somewhere else and you help her. I was very patient and nice, but I will mever come again to this bank. she is supposed the be the manager , the person who representa this branch and now in my eyes she just made the whole branch look like a rude one. read more

First time my fiance and I stepped into a bank since the pandemic hit. We went in line (only 1 person in front, at 8:45a - opens at 9:00a). Inside seemed well organized. We were initially told that we need to make an appointment to speak with someone about creating a joint account. But then Mila went beyond exceptional service! Although she said she will be in a meeting, she still took the time out to help us navigate step by step on setting an appointment through the chase app. She mentioned which days she can also help us too. Thank you for such great customer service! read more

I've been using Chase and their credit card service for a very long time and have came to this branch to get some change. After the 10th time grabbing some coins. This time the branch manager walks over and says I have to have or open a business account with them! I just needed some ones and quarters and she couldn't answer why I was able to do this the other 10 times with no issue. The employees to both sides of her have previously helped me. Well sad to say this, however because of this experience, I'm getting rid of my chase card all together. Farewell. read more

I moved here almost 3 years ago, and to this day the long wait and long line haven't changed one bit. I think it's actually a longer wait now. The worst is waiting 30 minutes to 45 minutes in a line out the door just to get my roll of quarters for laundry. I give it 2 stars only because you are forced to give one star, so the second is for their amazing staff who make up for the long wait. The lines never get shorter, and with only 3 checkers, it's always going to be a LONG WAIT. They have these new machines to help make the lines go faster, but only if they would give quarter rolls and would handle the cashiers check or money order for you. I would rather them have filled that area with more checkers. So, I try to avoid this bank as much as possible, and hit a branch on the way home from work that won't be a half hour wait. Yet, sometimes, I have no other choice. I believe this branch could reach exponential numbers and potential, if they had more checkers and the wait time was about 1/3 what it is now. I have seen every visit at least 2-3 people out of the 15 person line leave not wanting to wait. If it wasn't for the super sweet and awesome customer service you get once you FINALLY reach the counter, I probably would never go back. For now, I practice "patiently waiting." read more

Fairly consistant policy within the branch but you should always get the same manager to assure any promises... Lobby is adaquate , 3 tellers & 2 managers ...And a plethoria of " financial consultant"cubicals that i see empty. Pluses... Great parking avail , great neibhorhood ,& good customer svcs. read more

This is atrocious. I've been here just waiting for over an hour now This is not customer service but customer abuse. I'm glad I'm closing out my account. I went to the chase in valley blvd in sgv and I think it just depends on the branch. I loved the employee I worked with. And you can't beat their promotions. So I give the chase in Long Beach one star but the one in Monterey park 5 stars. Those new atms are great. The ones in the bank give you the option of not being on $20 welfare. You can im choose your bill denominations!!! So the 1 star and the 5 star service I got today I am upgrading the rating to 3. Maybe chase convince me they deserve 5 stars. Let's see how their mtg Dept handles my request???? read more

I don't have slightest clue as to why this place has a 2 star rating. Because this branch is the best one I've ever been to so far. Today was my first time to go in to this branch and I had a great experience. Prior to going there I had an issue with my check and I spoke with the Manager Noe on the phone, and he was so attentive and patient with me and my concern. He told me to go to their branch and have someone ask for him. I proceeded to go to this branch and was lucky enough to get Rose to help me, she was exquisite! Really cheerful and really patient with me, and took the time to call for Noe and get my issue resolved within 10 minutes. This branch's customer service is on point, looking forward to going to this branch for service from now on. Thank you again for all the help today! read more

I absolutely HATE coming to this branch. The only reason I do is because it's waking distance from my job. The wait is obnoxiously long. This branch is huge there is no excuse for this. read more

This branch is awesome. Thinkin about opening an account? Ask for Mai! He's great and super helpful. He made my day.

Very rude staff. I do business banking all the time here. I tried to have a personal check cashed asked them to waive the 8$ fee and they refuse. I will definitely not bank here anymore. Customer service is more then simply greeting ppl. Horrible management! Good thing Bank of America is down the street. read more

This Chase attracts an interesting crowd. I've seen the Sunday church goers to impatient middle-aged men to introverted hipsters get their money business handled here. The service is pretty good; friendly and always smiley, but there is always a line so be prepared for a slight wait at this branch. The parking lot is in the back and I never had trouble finding a spot. I have no complaints so far, so this is my go-to Chase branch. read more

Always a line in this bank. Just waited 30 mins to get to the window, wait 5 minutes at the window to be told they couldn't help me with personal checks for my account. If you're out of your supplies, make sure ALL your employees know. When I was approached in line or immediately at the window with this information you would not have wasted my time. Get it together. read more

Here for what you need. Atm are decent and located in well lit spot. Inside staff available for those who prefer human contact. Me I'm a in and out type of girl read more

At one time I liked coming to this location because it's near my work and was always fast. One day they decided to get rid of all of their human tellers, and replace them with machines that cannot even perform simple banking tasks. They only keep one teller on duty, so there is always a very long line. Coming here on my lunch break is no longer possible because I wait in line 30 minutes or more every time. I'd definitely consider switching banks. read more

After waiting in line for 15 minutes, I finally got to the teller. I was depositing a couple hundred in cash to a friend's account for them and because I was depositing cash and because it wasn't my account, they wouldn't take the deposit. I wasn't taking any money out, I was putting it in. When the teller asked if I wanted to open a Chase account they seemed surprised that I laughed. After wasting my time why would I want them to hold onto my money for me? read more

Came in to Chase at around 5:45 pm( 15 min before closing). I applied online for a Sapphire Preferred card and customer service requested for additional information so we went here so that they can fax the necessary paperwork for my CC application. We even requested for the card to be expedited and he was able to make that happen as well. Thanks Omar! read more

I have been a client of this branch since it was Washington Mutual and I have to say my latest experience was the most meaningful and the best yet. My sister, who had recently passed away, had a Chase account and I decided to go to this branch to handle her account. It was and is an emotional time for us but Jade Alexander handled everything we needed to be done efficiently, quickly and with great compassion. She is very knowledgeable about what needs to be done and how to do it. She was able to detect and resolve any issues that came up without delay and had everything complete within record time. We could not have had a better representative of Chase Bank or any other bank to work with. If we could give her a raise we definitely would. God Bless you Jade. You made this process so much easier than we expected. read more

Jade Alexander should not be working at a bank if she does not know how to interact with people. Not only is she rude and unprofessional, but she is also lazy. This has been the worst customer service I've received in the 15 years I've been banking with Chase. read more

The worst chase I have ever been to!!! They have the worst ATMs ever and they're always out of order! ALWAYS! And there's about 8 ATMs! How the hell do they all always have issues! Wtf! I just cannot! read more

There was a gentleman by the name of Reuben that works there. He assisted me and my niece in opening up a bank account for high schoolers. This bank is always busy but the people that work there are patient and hardworking. I can't imagine living without an actual bank to go to for free notary public service, quick wire transfers and general banking services. I'm glad they are here. I don't know why ppl have to be nasty with the tellers if it's not the tellers fault if the bank is busy. read more

Why do you ALWAYS only have one teller here!! I understand you have these new machines that are supposed to solve the problems of long lines but this is RIDICULOUS!! Every pay period after work I have to dread standing in this line! You have loyal customers for years because we liked the flow... Don't change or replace tellers with machines and FORCE us to utilize them because I will definitely take my patronage to the next bank with HUMAN interaction that you don't have to die in line waiting to see. I've been with Chase since they were WM, this will soon end if you guys don't get it together! There's 4 ppl in front of me and 5 ppl in back of me... So your state of the art ATMS inside the branch are not too much effect on everyone obviously! read more

I wish I could give a zero stars. My husband and I came in to apply for a credit card. We signed in and sat down. A lady came out to ask the people waiting what they were there for. When we said we were there for a credit card she said, " you can do it online. We can do it here but we are pretty much just helping you to imput the information." To me it just seemed like she didn't want to help up. We decided to leave but this type of "Service" will be leaving her without a job soon. read more
