This location at one time was actually a full service branch, complete with tellers and the requisite staff. I don't recall exactly when it was converted into the "lounge" concept but I would say during the onset of Covid-19. What this meant was the removal of most services, tellers in general, and a widespread reduction in staff. Basically they have limited access to cash, usually only one banker and one teller adjacent individual working at any given time. If you're a Chase Private Client customer, some of things you might be accustomed to, like free Cashier's checks, can take quite a bit of time to process here. You essentially walk inside to a freestanding desk, fill out the corresponding paperwork, and then wait for a clerk to run it into the back office. This office is literally behind a white unmarked door, which you can't see beyond. I personally find this somewhat jarring as they might have several intimate documents of yours etc. There are some generally disturbing practices that I have encountered here. One time when requesting a cashier's check, a manager protruded from the secretive back area to question me as to why I was withdrawing money from my account(s). As if that was any of her business. I explained politely that I was very perturbed by her line of questioning and that she should perhaps learn about tact and decorum, especially when dealing with the public. She grunted and returned to her liar, later reluctantly returning with my cashier's cheques. With all of this under consideration, I still find this location to be convenient as it's right next to a major postal hub. So in that respect I hope they don't shunt it, but it really wouldn't surprise me if they did. read more

Great place with helpful staff. The higher ups seem as though they are more like slave drivers than leaders when they hawk over all the account managers. This location used to be a Washington Mutual that was converted. The location is quiet like any other bank and always has music playing. I think it's funny that the tellers greet you when they're behind the glass. I can never figure out who is talking to me. read more

This will have to be the last time I come to this branch. EVERY time I have been here I have had to wait far too long. I've been waiting for 30 minutes just to talk to someone about closing one of my accounts. Two other people that were also waiting just left to head to another branch. It should never take this long at a bank. I think I will leave now. read more

AMAZING customer service. I had to stop at this branch while running errands and I needed quite a bit of help. I must have been there for 2 hours but it was time well spent. The staff here is very knowledgeable and professional and they definitely go above and beyond for their customers. (Irving, TX) I didn't want to believe the rumors I heard but i went in to start a business account so i dressed down and put a baseball cap on. When i got there the teller (I now know she was the branch manager) WHAT A JOKE! I waited for the banker to get done and when she was done she ask the manager about lunch at 1 pm. I instantly knew they were up to something so i went in the bankers cubicle and she kept questioning me about my business and I guess because I mentioned checks. They assume I was not legit or something. I'm self employed and a trader and they basically told me that I would be watched as to what is coming in and out of my account and that my account could be closed in 2 days. I looked at her like okay i'm going to finish playing along. They insisted that I should open an account when I get my LLC and such. I thought okay they are both hungry especially the banker who looked hungry trying to act like she was really interested in making sure I had the right account. The banker is lazy and the manager sucks up when a cute black guy comes in and then they kiss up like dogs in heat. Anyone that goes to this branch can see they are fake toward nice brown skinned women. DO NOT BANK AT THIS BRANCH this is the 2nd time i have gone in there in a year and they acted like I was dirt. Anyway I went to BOA and they were kind and pleasant and about the banking business and not questioning me constantly about my business. read more

If I could give it a -5 I could. I dislike this branch so much! I went in once to make a change and they made it impossible! I started looking to switch banks until I went to the chase down MacArthur by 635 and they took care of me in 5minutes. Unless is the last branch opened in the world I would not recommend anyone to go there. read more

Continuation from other branch not this one. After that I thought the matter was straighten I left it alone I then proceed last month in the middle of the month around the fifth to deposit a little portion of this check and then clear the check from my fiancé and I went inside the branch OK the lady behind the branch counter told me that I could cash it on my savings side she tried to do that and she couldn't do it she said oh it's gonna it's gonna have to be deposited I said OK that's fine I'll just get some money out of my savings now as she's doing that she says this check has to be posted so there was some kind a message on my account and the manager Mr. Jake comes over there and looks at it and turns around and says oh there's gonna be a hold on this account for about 7 to 14 business days and I said OK no problem I did not need the money right then; well a couple of days later I happen to be at home and Mr. Jake calls me and he threatened me he said that I were writing bad checks and passing them off now with that being said he told me that I was going to go to jail scared me to death and he accused me of hiding checks whatever that means so I proceed to, fiancé and we have a three-way call with him and he said he's going to be in the office when we come in so he could verify his ID and all of that we come in Jake low and behold wasn't there so they said he was on break or lunch a few minutes later Jake comes in now again he said why would you threaten my why would you threaten my wife like this this on my checks and it's going to clear it did clear it had already cleared the bank did not send the check back plus he had his ID his work badge he had a military ID passport and I had the whole book of checks so when he accused us of kiting I did not know what that means at all the worst thing I have ever done is gotten a ticket for speeding ticket or red light ticket so when you come to somebody like that that is very racist and discriminatory this is been the second time with him and I didn't have but one return check which is the check I told him to stop at my fiancé's bank now they're saying we're running checks and just any other but my checks are returned I had one return check then this man seems to want to nitpick at black people and put them under the bus so it says and you can't get help from corporate but now they want to close my account like I've done something wrong when you have a racist manager there I am begging for all black people let's stick together and not patronize Chase because this is the way the good old boys think that oh you must be doing something wrong you're cutting checks I knew nothing about that word until that man said it never heard it he didn't have the right to call my house and threaten me either I'm not I'm not don't have anything on my record never had anything on my record so at this point I'm livid I think again that as a black community we should be able to stand together on this if you see it take a picture and pass it around this needs to go around so people know that you can't just treat treat people any kind of way and still make money off of it with no repercussions at all I didn't get an apology I didn't get compensated or anything my account has been closed for several weeks now and I have Matt that the remaining money back to me as of yet that was in my account so please once again take heed of this and let's spread this along no one needs to bank at Chase black lives do matter...
