I am giving this bank five stars because of the individuals that work here and their customer service skills. Anthony and Nigel are outstanding. They are very friendly and sincere. Anthony has assisted me several times and he has always been nice. Nigel helped me the last time I was here. My wife was with me and one of the managers walked up to her and offered her a water. Never thought I would ever have to step foot in a branch ever again but Rocky was quite nice. This bank has the friendliest staff. My father and I go there every day. They make a point of knowing the customers' names, and greet you by name as you walk in. They server complimentary coffee for their customers, which is a nice touch. Their ATM machines allows you to get your cash in the denominations that you prefer, which is nice. read more

The bank I grew up with was more local, so I was a bit nervous opening up a national bank account for the first time. Had an account opened recently and the process went smooth. Made and appointment, got there and the staff was lovely to get it all squared away with speed. I know living in the world we do today, we always want things fast and super fast. Thankfully here I didn't have an issue with speed. Did one of their bonus money for opening a checking account things and that even went smooth once the qualifications were hit. Then later received the Chase Sapphire Reserve card and wow, what a card. So many perks and you get points to spend the money you were going to spend anyway, just lovely. Their phone app is AMAZING and the ATMs NEVER tell me that I can't make a deposit unlike another bank that's in America but I won't name names..... that's just unprofessional LOL!!!! read more

For some magical reason Irvine is littered with Chase banks, more so than most of Orange County and even San Diego, but like my hometown we too in Oceanside have many a Chase locations. When a bank of this size has so many locations it's honestly a little hard to tell the difference, but I few things I notice each time I do transactions here is that it's super cold, the non teller staff is really nice, but the tellers themselves as a whole are just a little slow. Now granted I have mixed feelings about Chase's business banking my personal accounts are easy to deal with I just wish at an ATM I could set up ACH and Wire's or even on my Chase app. Parking sucks, no dedicated spots and although it's a corner spot the center is so busy no one would adhere to it anyhow. read more

I love this branch! Everyone here is very helpful, especially Ryan! Ryan helped me, my boyfriend, and my friend's account. My boyfriend said Ryan was very nice and he was going to suggested me to go to Ryan when I was going to open a checking account, but I went to see Ryan before that happened. Ryan was very helpful and friendly, and I felt very comfortable working with him. He was a trooper when he helped my friend, who had some major issues with her existing accounts with her ex boyfriend. He helped her out and made sure everything was taken care of properly. He also helped her out opening a checking account. My friend was extremely satisfied with how things were handled by him. I came here to open up a Chase Freedom, and I left within 30 minutes, with a card in the mail, on it's way to me! The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. I recently went to open an account with Chase Bank in Irvine. I was running a bit late but still made it about 20 minutes before closing. As i walked in i watched a young man from one of the offices that said accounts walk behind the teller counter. I mentioned to the teller i would like to open an account. He turned and looked at the young man who had just entered who stated he was leaving and i could go online to set up an account. It is now after 5pm. I can see everyone including that young man still in the bank. Have we gotten to the point that no one cares about customer service any more? I was very excited to bring my business back to Chase especially this branch as i used to business here a few years back. I will now out of principle drive across town to do business else where. Unless, someone from Chase contacts me and tells me they want my business. I will give them 48 hrs. Let's see what happen! Let's see if they care about one account? read more

The staff at this Chase location has always gone above and beyond to assist my husband and I with our accounts. Every time I go in everyone is so friendly and so helpful.... the complete opposite of the El Toro location (but that's a review for another time). A company we do business with took it upon themselves to do a wire transfer into our account and Chase charged ME $15 as a convenience fee. I went in, told them that I did not request a wire transfer and would like them to credit the $15 back to my account. OK, no problem, $15 was put back to my account. Great customer service and great staff... very friendly and very helpful. read more

There is never a line, and the staff are always very friendly. My son came with me to deposit his coins into his account. The lady mentioned we would need to roll all the coins. Not only was she nice enough to give us the papers to roll them, she sat in the lobby with us helping us roll them. That is above and beyond service if I've seen it. Anytime I step into this Chase I always have a great experience. Not only with her but its consistent. Everyone there is friendly, nice, and heartfelt. Nice, quiet location. Friendly staff and it's usually never busy here. I come here a few times a month, since it's the closest one to my house. I never had an issue here. If I have a lot of cash to deposit, I'll go inside to the teller. I use the atm machine to deposit as well, when I have smaller amounts and no coins. read more

This is one of thee worst branches ever. Lines are long, when there are more than four customers in line they should provide a second teller at the least. Many of the bankers walked by without greeting and of course the teller that was serving me could not process my transaction. Most of the employees here seem stuck up and rude. I will continue to spread the word to my family, friends, neighbors, collegues and fellow residents in Irvine. After my awful experience today I am considering closing my account. This bank is horrible. Before I decided to rate it I made sure to try this place a few times. I understand that things happened. But today is my 5th time here. The lines are long, they have one teller, and today they made an issue about my payroll check. I always deposit it as cash. The manager Gabe a whole lecture on why I need to deposit it and let it clear....I explained that it was almost payroll chekc. He questioned it because it is issued by the State of Ca. Super frustrating. The tellers don't do what you ask. You get home. You check your account then realize they screwed up. 48 minutes on the phone to rectify their error. Don't do your transactions here. Go to the barranca and culver location instead. read more

VERY FRUSTRATED BY CHASE BANK TODAY! Let me start by saying I have a mortgage, equity line, credit card and car loan all with Chase. Today, I went to deposit $350 cash into my daughter's checking account. She is currently studying abroad in Germany and needed a little extra cash before coming home for Christmas. However, because I am not on the account with her, they would not accept a $350 cash deposit. I was told it was to prevent money laundering and terrorism... This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! How about a little COMMON SENSE going into your policies. I had driver's license and you could have verified my other accounts instead of wasting my time and adding more stress on my daughter (who's already on edge) given situation in Europe. Chase will be losing ALL of our business over $350. read more

Attention for all resident in Oceansdie and Carslbad. If you want to apply for mortgage loan. Don't ever come to 3748 Mission Ave and 2663 Gateway Road to see Adam Schmidt to apply for mortgage loan. Because I was apply at 2 location above, I was waited for 2 months without a result. Adam was my loan officer, He was lacking on customer service, he did not have a knowlege in mortgage loan. he did not inform so what's going with your loan. He will let you wait and wait without an answer So I will never apply for a mortgage again at Chase. read more

He always makes sure everyone is taken care of and even took some info from me so I didn't have to wait when they got very busy.
