Instant eye contact from a busy teller that let me know she would get with me soon--I think her name is Malu. Wile she was helping me, the manager, Hope, overheard our discussion about the new PNC credit card I had recently gotten, and she came over to make sure I understood how to the biggest benefits from it and was super helpful and friendly. Its fun going to the bank again!!

My only reason for holding a BofA account is this: I do most of my banking through an internet-only bank. I'm definitely not a "platinum" customer at BofA by any means. But having an account at a bank with a physical presence is helpful when you need to do something that requires actually going to the bank, which, in this case, was getting a cashier's check to close on my mortgage since my Internet bank does not offer cashier's checks. I was greeted in a friendly manner, and my transaction was handled and I was treated as if I was a valued customer. Despite having an account which was opened out of state, causing a few minor complications, the staff at this bank handled those complications politely and professionally and were incredibly hospitable, even though it was clear from the information on my account that I wasn't a frequent customer. If I ever need in-person service again, this is the branch I'm going to, even if I have to go out of my way to get there.

This branch and the entire service line that I have been dealing with has gone downhill. No one responds to emails, returns phone calls and you are treated like an inconvenience when in the branch. I asked if we had everything we needed for our loan. Was told multiple times everything would be fine. You can probably guess where this is going. In the dealership finance office find out the letter they gave us isn't sufficient and we wouldn't be able to use them for the purchase. Beyond annoyed because I asked several times to avoid this exact situation. What good is going through the trouble of applying for a loan if you can't use it when needed?
