They said they would be back in 7-10 business days to bury it. They never showed up. I have been calling them every couple of months, saying my dog is going to rip it off the pole or outta the side of the house. Well it finally happened last night. I called @spectrum again and told them what happened. Told them not to send another service technician out if he couldn't bury it because I already hooked backed up. Guess what? They sent another service technician and left it laying on the ground AGAIN!! The service technician Robert was great. I am upset with him or his work. I am extremely pissed at @spectrum . I was told even promised by phone support that the cable would be buried today. Robert called his supervisor while he was here today. Put him on speaker phone and was once again assured someone would be here within 7-10 business days to bury it. @Spectrum let's see if you will keep your word this time. My experience with this is why so many of my friends and family finally dropped wired service and went to wireless internet with T-Mobile or Verizon. Finally talked with a rep who said a mention of the increase was on page 3 of statement. Never received statement. Then I was told that I should look up my account online "every" month to verify my monthly bill. I was told that bc I was an existing customer, they could sign me up for SAME svc I was receiving at $60 for only $105. BOTTOM LINE: If u use XFinity/Comcast, read ur paper bill thru page 3 snd/our check ur bill monthly online so u will know if ur bill will also double. Bye XFinity!

The gentleman on the phone gave me instructions as to what to return and sent me a label for the modem that I needed to ship back. All I had to do was package the modem, put the label on and take it to a Fed Ex drop off. Shipping was paid for by WOW. I was given the prorated bill to be paid and everything with this cancellation went smoothly. Thank you WOW!

The only glitch was the installation was initially scheduled for Sunday; however, Dish rescheduled it for Wednesday via an email that my husband overlooked. WE have an aggressive dog, and we have to medicate him when strangers are in our house, so the installation appointment change messed up our day due to medicating our dog unnecessarily. on Wednesday, the technician showed up, was extremely polite and spent about 2 hours on the installation. He updated hubs' phone with the app and walked him through using the app. Unfortunately, the second Google thermostat we bought doesn't work on split system HVACs which means we will need an additional installation for that thermostat. I thought the Dish technician did a great job and I would recommend them and Google thermostats!
