Went to Spectrum this morning to return boxes and cables and remotes. Changing service to internet…read morebased programming. Kamilah could not have been nicer. She was professional, capable, knowledgeable, and personable. She removed the devices, and as I was preparing to leave, I asked if she could assist me with the steps involved with getting the Spectrum apps on my computer at home. She patiently assisted this technologically challenged senior citizen in such a way that I understood. Full disclosure, I am NOT related to Kam or any of her coworkers, but they ALL deserve a raise. Just my opinion.

Recently moved into an apartment complex with shared Internet. Ultimately, due to issues with…read moreinfrastructure and Internet speed, had to opt out and purchase own internet provider. AT&T UVerse was the package we selected based on availability and service records. We had some issues with our installation based on the set up of the apartment, but AT&T sent out a technician on a Sunday morning in the pouring rain to help us out. Not only was he informative and courteous, but he went above and beyond his duty in trying all methods and ways he possibly could've fixed our situation. He provided us with his own information upon leaving should we have any hiccups with future service. In the recently destructive PR issues with companies like Cox and Comcast, AT&T has gone out of their way for me and my neighbors recently. I really think quality customer service needs to be recognized, and I'm so happy that we selected AT&T as a provider!

I…read morelive in an area where there is another option besides Cox, Charter, Dish, At&t, Time Warner etc. The other option is RTC cable. I have been with them for over 10 years. My internet has only stopped twice in all that time and that was because of outages due to natural disasters. They always restore services quickly. Most importantly, when you need customer service their are always real people available 24 hours instead of automated systems that frustrate you. Also, there are no contracts and when you move your service gets transferred for free. I have so many friends and family that complain about their service providers, the ones that switched to RTC cable are so happy they did. This is one of the few companies out there that actually cares about the customer. I don't care how many times them other companies mail me with cheaper offers to switch. I'm never doing it.

When there is a price increase STOP saying it's because of the taxes and fees that your business is being charged. That might be true for 1 increase a year but it's not true for the other 2 'increases I've received this year. Also customers that cancel their service should NOT have to return "your" equipment...a technician was sent to deliver and set up.., send one back to disconnect and pickup! I as a customer had to swap out a cable box (due to issues with it) had to miss part of a workday because you're store locations are not open when I go to work nor when I get off of work!! Customers paying these current and future high prices should not have to return or pickup/swap out any equipment... it is very inconvenient for customers !!

Whenever I had issues, RTC would troubleshoot from their end amd the issue would be resolved. Not with this company. They send someone out to your home for everything. Recently my security system gives a weird error message that doesn't go away. Reached out to eatel whom dispatched an employee. He called me and was actually the initial installer with RTC, glad to see they hired him on. He told me I would need to sign a 3 year contract. I think not‼ I will be speaking with a manager today and if I need to sign a contract, I will proceed with cancelling my Eatel services.
