I eventually had to ask if I was supposed to take the rest off myself or if someone was going to come back and help me. When it was time to pay, I was told what I clearly heard as $10. I didn't have cash, so she asked me to Zelle it. I sent $13 because I included a $3 tip and thanked her before leaving. After I had already walked out of the salon, she came outside after me and asked how much I sent. I told her $13, and she said she had told me $15, not $10, and told me to Zelle her the additional $2 right then. I explained that I had heard $10, but she insisted she never said that. What made the whole interaction even more frustrating was that I had already waited 35 minutes for a simple removal, only six of my nails actually needed polish removed, and my nails weren't even cut down afterward. I have no problem paying for a service, but the lack of communication and being followed outside over a $2 difference after I had already tipped made the entire experience feel really uncomfortable and unprofessional.
