So much has already been said, but this is a natural respite from the world with all of the creature comforts. To anyone saying the property is somewhat outdated, I disagree and fully appreciated features like carpet in the honeycomb suites and in the dining areas. It keeps noise down from fellow diners and guests staying in rooms nearby. When can you ever say this in modern stark industrial hotels? This made the experience so cozy. And the place is clean!! It looks and smells fresh. The honeycomb suites are constructed from stone and wood, and it's so refreshing. The food is delicious and well-appointed on the restaurant menus - both brunch and apps and dinners. They change the menus frequently based on what's in season, as a natural property like this should be. Service! Also "outdated" in that it was actually great! Where can you receive personable service anymore? The front desk, hostesses, serving attendants, communication prior to check in, you name it. We were first timers but met many guests who have been returning for decades. We would count ourselves lucky to be able to do the same. Great experience. My only gripe, and it's a legit one, and it can be avoided: room service. It should not be served in plastic in a bag like carry out, at a romantic resort and at this price point. We opted for brunch in our room one morning, and were disappointed to find a bag of food on plastic. No. Beware of this and go the fine dining room to avoid this. I have never ordered room service anywhere in the world and had it delivered in this manner to a $500 per night room. This did not take away from the rest of our experience though, but diners should be warned.

It was snowing so we felt we were in a picturesque snow globe. We drove to the area of the Honey Comb rooms and it look so cool. We stopped by the Inn and spoke to this gracious young lady at the restaurant. She said it was open to the public as well. We also spoke to the person at the front desk and picked up pamphlets on what you can do in the area. The rooms looked pricey on the website, I'm not sure if it's a place I would stay. Maybe for a celebration of some sort. It's close to many different Amish Places.

The inside is beautiful and if you like historical places I recommend asking the front desk for a guided tour, which if we would've known about prior to leaving after our meal, we would've done but our schedule didn't permit it. We were seated quickly and requested the outdoors courtyard. WATCH your step there is a small hole in the brick covered with a welcome mat that could cause someone to fall. The courtyard is so quaint but it was slightly windy and the umbrellas aren't anchored so they kept nearly coming out of the tables throughout our meal. We ordered fried alligator tail for an appetizer that was very tasty. The Reubens were delicious and the Mac and cheese was good with a huge prob of bacon if you paid a bit extra. I also got it as a side and was surprised by the option size, much bigger than expected. I wished the sauce was a bit creamier and maybe a different pasta like a cavatappi or fusilli instead of the penne but that's just me being picky. I have to say that of all the places I've been I've never had a more personable waitress. She was fantastic! She had small talk at every stop to the table, was attentive, accommodating and friendly (not forced). I hate that I can't remember her name because she really did a great job. Not only that but we had a fabulous conversation with two of the chefs that were set to be married the next day. They were friendly, comical but really just great people that are passionate about people, cooking and each other. My mom, sister and I wish them well. They sure we're having a great time celebrating for the next day and they brought us along for the ride and because of that we even commented later that that alone would influence a trip back to the restaurant if we ever find ourselves out that way again because you were made to feel like you were apart of the family. They have a covered area where a large crowd could gather and have a cookout, gas grills supplied. Each site has a raised fire pit and nice picnic table. These would be premium sites anywhere else. Nice staff. Very organized. They have a well stocked store with some good snacks too. For anyone wanting to attend church there is a non denominational Christian church on the property. Play areas for the kids with nice equipment. Putting greens. They sell LP. They have a dog wash. This place is in the top few percent of RV resorts. We have stayed all over the US and can't name but a few that are equal. If you want to stay nearby, definitely check this out.

I thought prices to be very reasonable and well worth it. You have your own entrance into the room which makes it a nice way to enter and exit as you please without disturbing others. There is a little balcony (actually a large one that is shared with others) that you can sit on and enjoy fresh air. There is a smoking area in the back which means there is no smoking in the rooms, which I appreciated. Overall, I would highly recommend this quaint little inn.

We stayed in one of the cabins. It had a small front porch and a small deck out back with a table and chairs. The living area is quite large with a wood burning fireplace, a coffee table that pulls up into a higher table for eating, a tv/dvd player, a pull out couch, a CD player with a few discs, and then on the far side of the room is the jacuzzi tub and a rocker. Off of the living room is the bedroom with a very large bed already made with comfy linens as well as a rocker, small closet and chest of drawers. On the backside of the cabin is a small room with two robes, extra pillows, a small sink, mini-fridge (stocked w/water bottles and a few different sodas), a small coffee pot with coffee, and a few snacks, and a couple of mugs and glasses. Just past that is a shower with a glass door and the toilet and sink. It was very spacious. There was firewood set for us to start a fire once we got settled in, as well as a bin of firewood outside for more as needed. In the main house there is a cozy sitting area. There were a few board games and an array of dvd's to take back to your room if you want to relax and watch a movie. That is also where the dining area is for breakfast. You will not leave this place hungry breakfast or dinner. The masseuse came to our room for our massages. She brought her massage table and put on some light music. We went one at a time. First me then my husband. Both were each an hour long. Only thing I was slightly disappointed about was that it wasn't one of those pregnancy tables that has a hole in the middle for your belly so I had to lay on my side which isn't as comfortable. Had to use a few pillows between my legs and under my head. It's just not ideal, especially for someone like me who was 37 week pregnant, and it's hard/painful having to roll from one side to another. Other than that it was still good, this was my husband's first massage and he enjoyed his as well. Not that it mattered to us but there's not really good phone service here and wifi is only available in the main house. If you need to make a local call though there was a phone in the sitting area in the main house. Definitely recommend for a relaxing get away.

It is a newer campground so the trees around the actual campsites are not too big yet. It is clean and very well maintained. The site that I was in was very spacious and level. They have a sand volleyball court, tether ball, basketball and a small playground for the kids, and a hiking trail in the back of the property. There is a small laundry room. While it is located near a pretty busy road, there is not much noise at night. I have found this a very relaxing park and would stay here again.

They made us feel like family or like new good friends! Their hospitality is excellent! From the moment we walked in, Sue greeted us with a warm and friendly smile and made us feel welcomed. Larry is also very friendly and made us feel at home. That's nice because my wife said from now on when we come up to Amish Country, this is our home and this is where she wants us to stay. We stayed in the French Country room which was so big and spacious and has a private balcony to enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. The king size bed was very comfortable to sleep in. It has a private bathroom with a jacuzzi tub in it. The only thing we didn't like or feel too comfortable with, was the bathroom door. It's a sliding door that doesn't completely close and give you privacy when you're going to use the bathroom. But, it's not a big deal because the rest of the room was beautiful and spacious. From the moment we walked into our room, my wife couldn't believe how beautiful the room looked and told me I did a great job picking out this room. (I redeemed myself from the last place I picked out for us to stay at which was a terrible B & B in Bucyrus that we'll never go back to). Larry & Sue fixed us a great breakfast the next morning. Before we ate, Larry said grace with us thanking God for the food and all of God's blessings on us which we thought was amazing and we were so glad that Larry did that, since my wife and I have always prayed together over our meals and give thanks and together every night before we say good night, we pray together. We had pumpkin pancakes that were so good, we ended up going and buying some of the pumpkin pancake mix at this nice little country store Sue told us about called Ashery's.
