My colleague and I landed in Madrid after a Red eye flight and came upon this place during our initial exploratory walk. We didn't realize it was a chain until later, but it wasn't bad. They have a lot of drink and sandwich choices and the prices are decent. We each got a coffee and pannini/sandwich and it came out to about 12 euros. We tipped 2 euros on top of that but afterward we found out that the customary tip is only about 5%, much less than that for the US. We were there on a Monday afternoon for almost 2hrs and it was pretty empty the whole time. The servers don't really know any English but it was ok because a lot of the menu has English translations (thank goodness!) and all we had to do was point to what we wanted. read more
