Picked up breakfast here on a recent morning in September, on the way to catch a Cercanias train heading to El Escorial. This was more for convenience than anything else, didn't have much interaction with the staff other than to indicate which items we wanted from the display. Transaction was quick and we were on our way. There is seating for maybe about 20 people at small tables though most people were also in and out grabbing food for the road.
Both the empanadas were delicious, more so than I'd initially expected. The iberico jamon sandwich was pretty standard for Spain, simple but tasty. Don't get me wrong this isn't a fancier bakery or cafe, but for a train station cafe it's pretty decent and overall a positive experience. read more
