I was there on a Wednesday night with Real playing on TV (it was an away game, I assume scene would have been different if the game was at home, just a couple blocks from The Monk's), and it was pretty quiet. Not dead, but a reserved, small crowd. Very close to the AC Cuzco by Marriott where I was staying, so if you're there looking for a nearby pub/bar, this is a solid choice. He started with pasta carbonara, which child #1 decided was better than her food and ate most of it. I had a salad of tomatoes and cheese with balsamic vinegar. Nothing fancy but nice and fresh. Spouse enjoyed the steak (good but nothing special) while I had smoked salmon open faced sandwiches. It was so rich I couldn't even make it half-way through. The brought us a huge carafe of wine to share (at least two glasses each in there -- we didn't finish it). For dessert, I opted for coffee while he had a cream cake that was too sweet for me but the others helped him finish it. Charlotte is already asking when we can go back for croissants.
