Even when it's crazy busy ive never had to wait long to put in an order or pay. The coffee is great and cheap and so are the pastries (the empanadilla de manzana is a personal favorite). However they've recently banned laptops from everywhere except a very uncomfortable bar around the center column. That bar is also very high so if you're short like me it's impossible to work at. I understand keeping most tables laptop free but having only one spot that is only workable if you're lucky enough to be tall seems rude to me. Especially on weekdays when they never seem to be lacking tables.
