Hola Coffee was a featured roaster at my favorite coffee shop in Indy, so I had to check them out during my stay in Madrid. The coffee menu had a variety of selection to choose from including seasonal specialities. After being indecisive the friendly barista helped me choose an espresso tonic (something cool because it was toasty outside). I enjoyed the espresso tonic and felt like the coffee was the primary focus of the drink (instead of the tonic watering down the flavor). Hola Coffee also has a limited pastry menu. I ordered the lemon poppyseed pound cake, and I must admit it was better than mine. For what can be a dense cake the inside was light and fluffy. The barista was friendly and was still nice to me with my limited Spanish. The inside is a tad small with few seating options, but still nice if you want a chat with a friend or read a book or enjoy a good coffee. I would definitely recommend this café to anyone visiting Madrid ! read more

One of the first coffee shops we stopped by when we landed in Spain. This bright tiny cafe has thse bright wooden benches, simple design and furniture pieces. 4 stars for coffee + food, 5 stars for ambiance and friendly staff! We loved how small and "tucked away" this hip little shop was. We were struggling a bit with the Spanish menu until we figured out there was an English one too. They were very friendly to us bumbling tourists :P Both the peanut butter and jam brioche toast and the smoked salmon in sourdough bread made great breakfasts. The cordito was strong and satisfying. Might not have walked across the city to come here, but go for it if you're nearby! read more

Visit this place! On your walk there, you'll see a beautiful mural highlighting various multicultural elements. We had a cortado and a con leche. The con leche is a little sweet (as expected). They're served in small, delicate blue ceramic cups without a handle. The foam texture is perfectly silky and the latte art was a plus. The architecture and decor inside features Japanese minimalist, Spanish brick walls, and unfinished, cracked ceilings. The sweet french toast with fruits was AMAZING! I wasn't expecting to be blown away but the yogurt, cinnamon, sugar, pear and toast combo was heavenly. I have not had better French toast. EVER. read more

Our Google map suggested Hola Coffee with an 86% preference match, and it did a good job in knowing what we'd like. A bit on the small side for proper indoor relaxation, the coffee was cute and well served. A nice spot to take a pause. read more

Very nice coffee spot with friendly staff and great coffee. I had an espresso which was very intense in flavor. It is really nice that they give you by default a small glass of water, as common in (southern) Italy. I wish this was my neighborhood coffeeshop. It's pretty much flawless. The minimalist design is calming yet present. The cappuccino is delightful. All of the baked goods (especially the chocolate cake/brownie) are a treat. The tomato toast (akin to bruschetta) is wonderful and only €2.5. The baristas are extremely helpful and spoke enough English for us tourists to get by. Wish we had more time in Madrid to frequent it again! read more

Stopped by Hola Coffee finally after living close by for a few months. The coffee was delicious - I ordered a latte with oat milk. They served me my coffee with a small glass of water which also was a nice addition. The only reason I'm not leaving 5 stars is because I didn't find the seating to be comfortable. It has a very nice minimalist aesthetic, but to sit and work (especially if you are taller than 5'7) is a little uncomfortable. I'll definitely be picking up coffee from Hola Coffee in the future! read more

i had an iced chai latte that was amazing. there was a light flavor and very refreshing. i also had a chocolate croissant that was perfectly flakey and moist in the middle. the ambiance is beautiful and the seats are very comfortable. i loved this place and i will definitely come back. read more

In any other American city this would be a normal hipster good coffee shop but since Madrid does not have as many Hola Coffee stands out.
