    Such a nice ambience.

What a charming little cafe. Nice mix of old woods and tiles, including what looks like some found furniture pieces or vintage, plus modern photo art on the walls. High ceilings and tables spaced far apart give this place a spacious feel, yet it also feels like a space you can have intimate conversations in. I can't speak for the coffee. I had the hot chocolate and it was wonderful. Service was friendly and efficient, and tolerated my total lack of Spanish with their decent English and good amount of patience and grace. Bathrooms: OMG, clean, functional, modern, and quite possibly the most spacious WC in Madrid. Whoa.

We came here at 8:00 pm and the staff was really friendly and welcoming. We ordered a Cafe con leche, Americano, and Tarta de Zanahoria. Everything was delicious and the coffee was the perfect temperature.

Beautiful, cozy place. Great for breakfast/brunch either alone or with friends. Their coffee is really one of the best I've ever had. Food is delicious, too. Prices are very good. Very recommended; we'll go back soon!

Awesome cafe frio! Tasted like coffee, orange, fusion. Very refreshing and light, definitely would order this again

Before this place opened we were passing it on the street and the owner, who had been busy for months refurbishing this burned-out hole of a local (what we in English would call "hole-in-the-wall" in Spanish is called a "local"), invited us in for a look. He was so kind and explained in great detail the stories behind the various pieces of furniture and the fixtures and the cash register, for example, and warmly entertained our questions. Fast-forward three weeks and we were finally able to pay a proper visit. Julian poured us a few infused waters to sample, one with orange flower and the other with cardamom. Both were delicious in their own way. We ordered coffees and they were brewed perfectly, unburnt, and were delicious to boot. On another trip, we ordered frozen coffees. Mostly frozen coffee hasn't arrived in Spain, rather, a bartender will pass you a cup of ice cubes and a typical mug of coffee and let you attempt to make the pour yourself. This is a lackadaisical method of making iced coffee, with classically horrid Spanish table service on full display. At Cafelito, a blended coffee drink arrives in a martini glass, spiced with orange peel. For the first time, I felt some hope for the small, local/independent coffee house scene in Spain. There is free wi-fi here, but as is typical in most Spanish coffee houses, there is a dearth of wall plugs. C'est la vie. We were so impressed with the robust flavor of our hot coffees that upon a third visit we stopped in only to buy a 1/4 kilo of ground Columbian beans. Some coffee places around the city skimp on the quality of the bags by which they transmit their ground or whole beans but this place does not. The bag's resealable with a "freshness button" to keep the product airtight and fresh. Every experience we've had here has been above-and-beyond positive. Drop in for the homey, peaceful atmosphere or drop in for quality coffee, or a little of both.

If you love coffee shops, then this place is a must. They offer a good cup of expresado with a solid breakfast to start your morning or to end your morning run. To the owners, keep up the good work. I hope places like these continue to thrive.

Factastic spot or "local" in the Lava Pies neighborhood of Madrid. I hope the owner/s read this and know that they served me the best breakfast I've had in Madrid!!! Went in for breakfast on Sunday morning and the owner could not have been more welcoming. He was kind enough to serve 2 of my friends larger coffees because it smelled so good, they knew the regular size wouldn't be enough. We were served citrus infused water, which was so refreshing and exactly what I needed on a hot summer morning. We all ordered the pan con tomate, with the onion bread (he also had wheat and white available). It was perfect! The bread was toasted but still chewy, the tomatoes were so fresh, and the olive oil was literally the best I've had in my life. I didn't get the name but I know it was organic extra virgin, first press. I ordered the Cafelito, which was a sort of frappé. My friends all ordered hot lattes. Utter perfection, and I know my coffee. So so glad to have run into this place!

Coffee in Madrid is no joke! This tiny cafe embraces it all! After you walk in and find a table one of the waiters will serve you water, for free! When I went today, I think it was infused with cardamom? Faaancy. I ordered a cafelito frío con leche, and they serve it in a teapot for 3€! Creative and picture worthy. They used crushed ice, huge bonus! That way I won't have to keep moving my straw around to finish my drink, more yassss. I think they also added some cardamom to my drink, it was tasty! Definitely different than other iced lattes I've had before. It was a little stuffy inside, and not turning on the AC didn't help since the place was tiny. It fills up fast since they also have free wifi, so a lot of people were there doing homework (like me). The waiters are extremely nice and you can tell they love what they do. They also have pastries and breakfast food, and it looked good from what I saw from other tables. OH, they have punch cards!! Tempted to go back already!

Quaint little cafe. Had the Iberian croissant (ham and cheese) plus the scrambled eggs. Everything was delicious and the service was great.

Great Coffee! Nice Salads and friendly customer service. Searched on Yelp for good coffee, Cafelito came up as no 1, deserves the spot.
